Marriott Metro Center Review

Some people just not caring enough. It has been the least accommodating Marriott(except for Joseph)we've stayed in.

Central location, nice room, friendly staff. Convenient Starbucks downstairs!

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff helpful and friendly.

Upon realizing I had left a dress in my hotel room, I contacted the hotel and asked for them to retrieve it. They refused and would not let me retrieve it either. In order to avoid missing my flight home, I left and took the manager s contact information with me. Trevor Lewis and Sydney Richardson have refused to return my property or even to search for it. Trevor Lewis repeatedly refused to respond to my attempts to contact him via phone and email. Only after contacting Marriott Bonvoy via twitter was I given a response. It was to say yet again that we looked for your property and couldn t find it. Bye. This is beyond unacceptable and I will be waiting for you to contact me directly. I suggest searching your maids possessions. I m certain one of them stole my property. Why else wouldn t the manager or lost and found have located it?

10/10 will never return to this establishment. Completely unprofessional.

The quality license plate Marriott feels all right !! Hotel very nice and up to expectations. The position is strategic to be able to see all of the government without taking the metro Washington, but slightly inconvenient if you want to see the old part of town and a little 'more than the evening especially moving! Prepare to many very same offices and ... a great peace of mind to sleep !!

Average at best. I d give 2.5 if I could. Starwood properties are much better.

Worst experience that I've ever had at a Marriott. The front desk staff is very rude. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.

In town for an event, super helpful staff. Very conveniently located to metro, great restaurants, landmarks. Starbucks in the lobby. Good rates and valet available. Clean rooms and very quiet when we were there.

Lovely hotel with a workout room, pool, and concierge lounge. Nice hotel restaurant that is reasonably priced and with good food. The restaurant staff are very nice and accommodating. Overall, great hotel close to the National Mall, monuments, and metro. Within waking distance to Chinatown and Ford Theater.

I had a burger at Fire & Sage. The bacon was perfectly cooked but the burger was nothing special. Luckily I was here for work and did not pay for my meal because $16 for a burger is outrageous (..but exactly what a hotel in downtown DC can get away with..).

People are nice but we asked for extra blankets and pillows but they never came, the valet is convenient but pretty expensive and parking was kind of a nightmare

Rating hotels is hard because not everyone is looking for the same thing. This room has a nice big screen TV. It has sufficient, but not plentiful accessible power outlets. Thankfully the TV has accessible hdmi and usb power, to run my Roku stick. Nothing fancy here, but it's clean, comfortable, and allows me to be my techy self. My kind of hotel.

Friendly staff, room was nothing special. For the expensive room rate, I think it's rather bold to not include breakfast or in-room internet access when you can get it for free in the lobby. There were only shears on the windows (no curtains) so the room won't darken.

Fast and super helpful valet. I forgot a box in my trunk just after checkin. Called down and they quickly secured the box and meet me in the lobby. Then even offered to deliver to my room. Super nice, and set a great tone for my stay.
Room was also clean, comfortable and had a very large tv. I'm guessing in the range of 55' to 60' (didn't have my tape measure).
Checkin was also lighting quick which I really value, especially after a long day of travel.
Thanks guys, will visit again.

Used the Marriott for their valet parking for the caps game had no problems

Great location. Close to the Smithsonian museums, National Mall and China Town. Perfect location for tourists.

Our room is very nice. Unfortunately, during our stay, the concierge lounge is closed. But other than that the hotel is awesome!

Large hotel centrally located in the city. The staff is friendly, rooms were clean and the gym equipment was plentiful along with an indoor pool. Rates are probably higher compared to the majority hotels in the area.

Although I didn't stay here, I attended a college information session and the location was fantastic since I was able to arrive by metro and the actual hotel was very nice and comforting on the inside, although nothing extravagant.

Hotels shouldn't be able to claim they're fancy if the internet isn't free and there's no hot tub. Great service though.

Very nice hotel. I love that there's a full Starbucks inside! ;) My room was clean, and the shower was hot. Wi-fi is free in the lobby, but not in the rooms, which is my only complaint. Easy walk to great restaurants and the Capitals/Wizards games. Overall, I had a very nice stay.

The location is great the staff is very accommodating. I have nothing to really sorry the hotel for.

If anyone out there is trying to find deals for hotels and resorts visit . reserved a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great too. I'll definitely consider staying here next time I need to be in the city overnight.

First room was not cleaned prior to my arrival. The hotel was quick to resolved the issue with moving me to another room.

The best 3 things about this hotel are the Starbucks in the lobby, the restaurant had really attentive staff, and the doormen are really friendly, personable, and make you feel so welcome. They were outstanding!

The event was held in a beautiful room. The staff were all pleasant. I would recommend having an event here.

The person at the front desk was so nice who worked on the weekend we had a great stay and felt so safe .. thank you!

Washington Marriott is the place to stay. For All your conference needs .entertainment family vacation time. What ever tome it is. I have never stayed at a place that was so personable.safe. Clean. And most of all comfortable. THANK YOU SO MUCH

I stayed at the Marriott when I was in town to see Incubus. While it was a little pricey I found that the close proximity to the venue and other local establishments was very convenient.

I parked in the garage down the street a bit to save some money.

All around, great place to stay if you aren't worried about breaking the bank.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We were able to stay using American Airlines points. The location is very convenient due to being just feet away from Metro Center.

The service was very professional. I would recommend staying here. The location is great for sporting events and dining.

Closest to the main attractions in the city... whitehouse is at walkable distance. love their breakfast pancakes!

Had a great lunch at tje hotel restaurant. Service was prompt and Julie our server was fantastic.

I only came in to visit family for a few hours, but the rooms and the rest of the hotel looked very nice. The front desk staff were helpful and the location is extremely convenient for the Metro.

Attended ATARC Mobile Computing Summit at lower level of Marriott at Metro. Reception was spotty. However food and service was above par.

Great service from staff from check- in to housekeeping, bellman, etc. through check-out. Saw some of the same staff from last year's visit which I considered a positive. Didn't visit resteraunt, but adjoining Starbucks was convenient.

Very nice hotel, wifi was a bit weird and the TV seems to be satellite so it cuts out during rain storms but otherwise I have a great time here

Ideal location, close to everything and only 10 minutes walk from the White House. The facility and the room are very clean with appealing design. The staff is professional and courteous.

Hotel is fine, it's centrally located and convenient to the metro. It's not a bad set up.

I visited this hotel for a conference. The hotel is very nice and the staff was friendly. The food was okay. The rooms were a good size for the breakouts. There is a Starbucks inside the hotel which was helpful and a bar in the lobby. It is also very convenient and easy to get to by public transportation.

Rooms were clean and newly updated, great location and quiet rooms. Pool needed cleaning as both kids cut their foot on something sharp. Management shut down pool quickly but did nothing else for us and my kids were limping the next day.

Very good hotel. The breakfasts are good, the gym is nice. We only regret the shallowness of the pool and the fact that breakfast only has a buffet once a week.
