Marriott International - Renaissance Dallas Hotel Review

Best customer service!! I went here for.my anniversary and the staff was outstanding. Just thankful. We plan to stay every visit to DFW

Beautiful banquet hall for large parties. I did not lodge.

Don t have to lie to me. We ve stayed at this hotel for over 30 years. We know what the rooms are like. They ve stuck us in small corner room the last three visits. They were kind enough to move us on previous trips. Not this time. The lady at the desk told us that all the rooms were the same since the remodel. Not true, we even looked at the room next to ours and it was the larger room that we requested. Why lie???
We are loyal customers of Marriott and stay several nights a year. They told us last visit that they would flag our account and be sure we didn t get a small corner room again.. Guess this was a fairy tell as well. They ve lost a good customer.

Very nice motel, unfortunately there is no conitential breakfast, and parking fee for your vehicle. Nice place to stay, but others are as nice with added bonuses for the customer.

Was here for the Spence vs Garcia boxing event, was a great hotel!

Nice people and cool place but took 12 hours to unload

Decided to go to this hotel for my honeymoon.

Overall Great hotel, the restaurants had Fantastic food as well.

The room was very nice, if not a little small. However the bed was SO COMFORTABLE, and the view on the higher floors is fantastic.

Cons:

Slow room service at times (left the hotel room at 8am came back at 2pm and room wasn't cleaned - Called in and they came and cleaned it immediately

Parking is very tight, when I was there they were working on expanding their parking lot and it was fairly difficult to find a spot

$100 security deposit since I was paying cash

Other than that FANTASTIC hotel. Will Definitely stay again.

Was a great place but the pool was very subpar & there were people smoking right next to our room.

This is a beautiful hotel with great amenities. It is currently undergoing renovations and I stayed in a room in which the renovations had already been completed. The room was modern with upgraded tile, carpet, and linens. The bed was comfortable as was the temperature in the room. The shower had a rainfall showerhead and one angled down from the wall.
I stayed in the club level which gave access to the lounge with happy hour h'ordevores and non alcoholic beverages. Alcohol and meals were available for purchase. The club level also had a free breakfast which is 1000x better than any other free hotel breakfast that I've ever had. The breakfast included fruits, oatmeal, fresh eggs, fresh potatoes and beverages included freshly made green juice.
One of the coolest aspects of the hotel is the elevator system. All a person does is type in their desired floor (instead of hitting the up or down button). The system gives the elevator and that elevator's door opens and takes the guest to his or her desired floor.
I just wish I could've stayed longer. Great hotel.

Hotel was very clean, bed was comfortable and staff was nice Will stay here again.

Overall good experience. Would've been nice to know the in-house restaurant needed reservations for dinner. The service at the restaurant was poor.

Hotel good, but I found the room a bit small. But, from the rest excellent event space, attentive service.

I've only picked up invited guests there for work, but I wish they had some more reasonable temporary parking so I could go inside to meet the guests and not pay 11+ dollars.

Everything was amazing,. From drinks at the bar until the overnight looking at the stars from the roof.

The Renaissance Dallas hotel isn't the greatest hotel there is in Dallas, but it is pretty okay for the price. Larger than usual rooms and prompt room service is a plus. The elevator system jams up every few hours which is a nuisance and the restaurant food is just average. Okay for overnight travel stays but won't give it any thumping reviews.

Pices are a bit high and there is nothing nearby which means you must have transportation to get anywhere. Rooms are on the small side but they are clean, well kept and comfortable. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Pool leaves something to be desired but the rooms and fitness center are great.

Awesome hotel they did a great remodel but I think 12.95 for internet and 18.00 self parking is bad

Rooms were nice, parking cost $18 per day. If there wasn't a charge for parking I would have given more stars.

Best front desk customer service I ever had in a hotel. I went there June 13, and a lady, I believe her name is Natasha, with an accent gave me the best service. She is so nice and thoughtful and I was amazed. The hotel has a pool which is great. The only thing I did not like was that I had to pay for parking otherwise I loved it.

Very classy place. Love the atmosphere.. The reason I gave it 4 stars was the shower turned cold several times throughout our stay. Would recommend.

Modern, clean place and great place to have conference thanks to efficient moving line. The only complaint is repeated breakfast menu for 4 days. But food quality is great also

Great service, clean comfortable room, comfortable beds. Front desk is very responsive, we had some issues but they were addressed very promptly. I am very pleased with the level of service at this hotel.

The hotel was pleasant, but the rooms felt old. The meeting space was nice and food was excellent. Good place for a conference, not great for just getting a room.

Very nice hotel. Geared towards conferences though. Restaurant is pricey but the food was decent with excellent service. If you are a tequila enthusiast this bar has an incredible selection of vintage agave. Rooms very a little outdated but the suite we stayed in was roomy.

So far this has been a good stay. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. I would recommend it to my friends.

Clean, modern, comfortable rooms. Great restaurant. The construction is insufferable, however. I was told when I checked in that it goes til 7 pm.

After the 3rd evening in a row, I called to ask about another room. The agent s hands are tied it s all throughout the building. My hands are tied because I have a non refundable rate. There was no indication about construction that I saw when I booked.

If you re looking for a place to only rest after 7 pm, you ll love it. If you ever plan on coming back during the day check on the construction status.

Great option if you plan to stay at Dallas for business or pleasure. All people here is very kind and professional. I live there for 6 months and had no issues.

We had a wonderful experience/stay at the Renaissance hotel.

Room service upset my stomach twice. But everyone is nice and rooms are spacious.

Sheets had not been changed,room service comes at 8am wanting to know if your ready to check out now, no free parking(I e never paid for parking when staying at a hotel) food was cold this morning. Check out girl sees me waiting to check,3 minutes later a man comes walking up and she says oh I can help you, then she finally comes over to help me and she was very rude like. I'll NEVER STAY ONE OF YOUR HOTELS AGAIN!!!! Nasty not even worth a star!!
