Marriott Inn and Conference Center by UMUC Review

I absolutely LOVED my stay at this Marriott!!! Check-in was super fast, easy, greeted with big warm welcoming smiles and very friendly service!!! Parking was very easy and lots of parking in the garage!! Our room was extremely clean, comfortable and I absolutely loved the comfortable bed !!!

We also received great, friendly and fast service in the cocktail lounge and my husband loved watching the game on the many TV s that surrounded the bar!! Oh and the cocktails were perfect !!

The outside area was closed but one of the staff members that was managing the set-up for their morning buffet breakfast offered to open it up for me to see outside so I was able to get photos of the lounge courtyard! It s absolutely gorgeous outside in the courtyard with plenty of seating, nice lighting and decor that would absolutely make the perfect place to host a nice gathering!!!

The entire property was absolutely gorgeous and everywhere we went all the staff members said hello, good morning, good evening, have a great day and all with big friendly smiles!!!!

They have a nice little gift shop that has just about anything that you would need. I forgot my comb but I was able to purchase one in the gift shop along with some snacks too !!

I felt like I was home away from home !! This was my first stay at this Marriott but not my last!! Thank you Marriott College Park for making my stay a great one!!!!

We were the First customers at the commons restaurant. It was great to be there. People were super friendly and happy to be back.

Poor service for a full service hotel. No restaurant, blame Covid on that. No complimentary breakfast or even coffee. $1 for a cup of pod coffee? $6 for a mini box of cereal. Want a banana? $2. You'll get more amenities at the local Motel 6. This does nothing but annoy the people who are paying more for a full service hotel.

Nice updated room, though small. I do not like Marriott's glass bathrooms, though the glass is frosted you can still see in somewhat which doesn't feel very private. Also, if somebody goes in during the night and turns on the light it's too bright out in the room! The sink was super small with very little room between the sink and the faucet.

A real hidden gem. Great, and convenient, location. Perfectly kept. Everything you need. And a surprise gift in a tremendous art collection. Do not miss!

Great spot for weddings, receptions and events. I have been there twice now as a photographer. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. Nice modern space right on campus, perfect for photos and great proximity to many churches. Easy to get to and from the beltway.

Waited awhile for someone to acknowledge & take my order for lunch. Not good.
