Hotel was nice, but in the room I had, there wasn't a fridge, microwave, or a hair dryer. I later found out that these needed to be requested at the time of reservation. Also, the breakfast was not included.

The Marriott is located on the north side of Cedar Rapids close to Rockwell Collins. The staff is very friendly and was happy to help us with anything we needed with our new 7 month old setting up a crib for us that was very clean prior to our arrival. The team at breakfast was also very friendly with our daughter gaining a 'Uncle Leo' from the head of their staff checking on her every morning.

I had a great time. Lots of space for my kid to run around in while. At the same time the space isn't wasted. Had a good time. Nice rooms, great decorations, love the waterfall. The location is fantastic. You cant miss it driving up. Fantastic parking. Bathrooms were clean. Very "up to par" so to speak. I really enjoyed my time at the Marriott.

I ate at the Cedar Grille at the Marriott. It was a great value. Food is very good and the service is amazing! I've been here a few times and they do things to keep the menu fresh. I love the location near my customer facilities too.

I went for a metaphysical expo and it was held in one of the main rooms. The room was big even though the expo had too many vendors for that size. The hotel was lovely. Clean, nicely decorated, and peaceful atmosphere.

It was a fantastic stay except a few downsides. Thr doors weren't sealed, so you could hear things like wedding guests or even people walking down the hall. And the hot tub. A normal hot tub goes up to 105 degrees. This one only goes to 85 and when we asked about it the guy said that it's not hot because there's people in it Taking the heat.

Not bad till the power went out. Due to a transfomer. Sit in the dark in the room. ? Go to the bar and they won't sell or give you a beer because they can't figure out how to Bill you on a piece of paper. Then square up when the power comes back on. Not happy.

They don t even deserve a star! My family ate brunch here for Easter and the food was cold and we paid for endless mimosas and our server only showed up once to check on us! At the end we waited over an hour and half for our bill and still no bill and my husband and to go up to the cashier and ask for it and they had everything messed up! Needless to say I will never be coming back and would NEVER recommend anyone to eat the Easter brunch

What kind of hotel disables the hdmi connections on the tv? If you rent a room here you cannot plug in any of your devices into the tv. I talked to the front desk associate and they said it was disabled some time ago. He also said that they were going to charge more money to use streaming services such as Netflix on a computer soon. Is that how they want to lose money? Because that's how you lose money. Also no complementary breakfast.

Great location with a friendly staff. A laid back atmosphere makes it very relaxing. The room was clean and well kept. My only complaint was you had to pay for breakfast, other than that an excellent stay.

I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars. The staff have been very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are large, clean and bed comfortable. The staff meet (or exceed) Marriott standards in many ways. the hotel is a nice facility, but it is also dated. The decor and furnishings seem about 5 years past needing updating. That said, I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Had 2 rooms booked by a friend for a bachelor party function. I did not end up staying the night but several of the attendees did, rooms were very clean, bathrooms well kept as well. Front desk staff during check in very professional and friendly.

I've had a great stay in Cedar Rapids Marriott. De rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast options are really great. The thing that stood out the most were the incredibly nice and helpful airport shuttle drivers.

My husband is a Platinum Marriott member, so we stay in Marriott hotels often in different parts of the country. This is the first time we have stayed in a Marriott that did not reflect the comfort and quality of that of a Marriott. For starters, our room had a musty stench that was so overwhelming that we had to open the window on a July day just to air it out. Unfortunately, the smell of hot trash came into our room from an outdoor trashcan. To add to it, the swivel office chair was saturated in some form of liquid and when my husband sat down it soaked into his pants. The ceilings had water stains and this should have tipped us off, because the next morning when we awoke, there was water dripping from the ceiling, running down the walls near the vanity sink. It was all over the counter and saturated into the carpet. This couldn't have been the first time that this happened, because the wall paper was bubbling up and there was a water stain on the ceiling. This may explain the odor of the room. We told the front desk about it and were given a "sorry about that". The only redeeming quality about this out of date, inefficient Marriott was the sweet bellhop who was very friendly and welcoming to us. I definitely recommend that travelers skip this hotel!

Terrible service arrived at 430pm and no rooms clean, check-in is 400pm, asked for estimated wait time and they would not provide one, the best they could do is promise to call when a room was ready, paying $150 a night for a room I can t even get into or be told when it ll be ready.

Visited during Covid. It was nice for us because it was quiet! Pool and hot tub were nice. Rooms were slightly dated for price but nice. Staff is super friendly and traded me up a room even though I use third-party. Front desk I was friendly as we walked through. Nice waterfall an elevator.
