Terrible communication - they don't return calls or emails and leave you wondering if they care. You hire a contractor who fronts 100% of the job and then don't want to pay in a timely fashion? As an office that deals with contracts all day long you'd think you'd READ the one that YOU sign. Shaking my head, very unprofessional. Stay away from Howard Hanna & Marks team I have an amazing realtor that is 10x better.

Do not believe anything that he tells you. Notoriously dishonest. Realtors who have worked with him in the past will confirm.

Before choosing a real estate agent, we conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice for us. We had been referred to over 30 agents from coworkers, friends and family.

We decided to go with Erin Duffy Kruss at the Mark Siwiec Team Real Estate. She is someone that you can trust and is awesome to work with. She proved that time and again with her thorough knowledge of neighborhoods, home construction and the local market. Every time we viewed a new property Erin would perform a methodical inspection, looking for signs of problems and commenting on the quality of construction, finish, appliances, etc. The Rochester, NY market has been a fast paced one in 2018 with high demand and quality homes priced right going extremely quick. Erin was there to help us navigate the fast paced market and aggressively got us showings early and very promptly based on our schedules.
It took us quite some time and months to find the perfect home for our family. Erin was great to work with the entire time.

I have a significant issue with Mr. Bartolotta in regard to making false representations that are currently being investigated by the state of New York licensing division. I also have a formal complaint into the Rochester Association of realtors in regards to the unethical business practices of Mr. Bartolotta.

This star is one too many. This realtor Mark Siwiec is as unethical as they come. He/and his sellers accepted an offer above asking price, on his listing, signed a contract, then went on to solicit further offers. Mark did not go through the due process of having an attorney reject or/disqualify the contract before accepting a new offer, to which he referred to as the "Bidding war." We were not aware that after signing the contract, he could still solicit more offers, then go on to not release the former buyers, from this legally binding contract. We came to the conclusion that either he is ignorant of the real estate laws in NYS or he is just deliberately unethical and lacks integrity.

To add insult to injury the buyers that offered a higher bid are already over paying for a home which comps for that area do not justify the over inflated price of the home, making the other buyers victims of a predatory, and unscrupulous realtor. The unfortunate part is that this realtor is giving such a bad impression of this industry to individuals that are coming from out of state, these are medical residents looking to establish roots in our fine city, contribute to our community and this is what they encounter. A Shyster, a charlatan, and a fraud. Someone who is willing to execute contracts and then fail to dissolve them properly is not a someone who can be trusted. Buyer BEWARE! This is not someone whose word can be trusted. Pure chicanery.

Mark is without question the best realtor I ve ever worked with. His team is second to none. As both a seller and a buyer, working with Mark and his team was a pleasure. He always had a strategy and executed it flawlessly both times.

I refer anyone I know looking to buy or sell property to him. No one has been disappointed.
