Mark Drugs Pharmacy Review

I was in a bind and needed compound prescription meds for a cat. I called and dealt with Mark, he saved my bacon and the cat's (he gets 5 stars). I was so happy I tried to work with them for the next two months, but I had to work with other pharmacists and the medicine was never what it was supposed to be, a couple of the techs told me it wasn't even possible to make the medicine according to the prescription. So IF YOU ARE BUYING PRESCRIPTION PET MEDICINES ONLY DEAL WITH MARK, the others do NOT know what they are doing (they get zero stars).

Excellent customer service and variety of products for healthy living and improved accessibility for daily living. Products available for special order. Insurances accepted for some items. Fittings for mastectomy products and compression stockings. Pharmacy offers mortar and pestle blends if prescribed. Pet medications also available. A true full service pharmacy.

I get a compounded prescription every month from Mark Pharmacy and everyone there who I talk with is friendly and very polite. The orders are always accurate and they work with me easily to get my prescription renewed. I highly recommend them!

Not a normal stop for me, but they were so helpful to my Mom I had to leave a quick review. This location is right off Irving Park. I'm told they have good prices and selection on canes. Also, good Nova mobility equipment. M-F 9-7,sat 9-3.

I don't know about the other stars but I went there today to pick up some medical supplies. I was greeted right away and helped finding what I needed. The store was clean and orderly and we'll stocked with medical equipment and other. I can not speak for pharmacy but i was glad to have this service after trying other places with no luck.

I've lived in Roselle for over 20 years and have used Mark Drugs throughout those years for everything from bio-identical hormones to medical equipment. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and provide great customer service. Mark Mandel is the driving force behind Mark Drugs, and he should be aware that the community appreciates everything he does for our community. Thank you!

Beware this establishment preys on those going through tough times. Very shady billing practices that you would expect from a nationwide chain. Of course, when you call to reconcile an invoice, you are met with an automated system and of course, nobody to return your call.

They always give excellent advice here. Even if it means they won't make a sale. It's also one of the few places where you can get medication compounding. (Custom mixing the medication for the patient's needs).

If you need anything for your medical help wheelchairs canes socks they have it I highly recommend them

I will never go to this pharmacy again! The woman employee asked me "Can she point me in some direction?" With a really bad attitude like I was bothering her. This was after 10 minutes and she never greeted me once. I was clearly standing by the wheelchairs because I needed to rent one for my daughter. I felt extremely disrespected and she did this in front of two other customers! I will also tell other people to go somewhere else as well.

I have been receiving medication from Mark's from the past couple of years and their service(s) has been nothing short of amazing. They are prompt with communication regarding my prescriptions and eager to answer any questions I have. I also like the mailing options they offer as well.

Please do your homework when price shopping. Mark Drugs charged me more than double what a local pharmacy charged me for the exact same prescription. They didn't even divulge their price, they just charged my credit card and didn't even ask me for my insurance information. I'm so upset because I have a chronic disease and I spend so much money on my health, medication & supplements. Also, their shipping charge is inflated too. I use an out of state pharmacy for another medication and they charge half of what Mark Drugs do, and I'm in the same state. When I brought this to their attention, they didn't even offer to price match or give me any credit whatsoever. I'm going to let my doctor know not to recommend them to other patients. Honestly, they could have done more to make the situation right.

I LOVE Mark Drugs in Roselle! The employees are always friendly and helpful when I have questions. I regularly have a prescription for my cat compounded there and use several of their own label Synergy Blends supplements. They have a great on-going deal on the Synergy Blends products where you get one free when you buy three.

Mark Drugs is not your usual drug store. You won't find a row of candy bars, greeting cards or toys here. Instead, they are dedicated to your health needs and carry quality supplements, books on natural health topics, prescription medications, an assortment of hard-to-find health items, and home medical equipment and supplies. They even have a boutique especially for mastectomy patients.

Dr. Mark is big on patient education and the store hosts free presentations on various health topics featuring guest integrative medicine physicians. It's worth the trip to Mark Drugs just to see the "museum" of vintage medicine bottles and artifacts. Check the hours before you go. They are closed on Sundays and close earlier on other days than typical "drugstores."

Great service from the staff and Pharmacy. They most always follow up with calls when they say they will. My prescription has always been ready when they originally tell me the date. I appreciate their friendly customer service.

Jeff and the staff here are Amazing. They make a special medication here for my Goffin Cockatoo Chance that helps to allow her to grow her feathers back. The medication has been a tremendous help

Recently I purchased a power recliner at Roselle and the staff was very helpful, kind and patient as we made a decision. Joshua set the order up for us and saw to the details of the delivery and came with on delivery day. It was all a good experience and I would certainly buy there again and recommend others check them out for a recliner as I had been looking for over a year and this was the best.

So glad I was quoted one amount then charged nine plus... dollars more. Then given info on a medicatiom as if I have never ordered at this location* at leadt 5th time same medication same animal....get you stuff together. When a concern is brought to attention of the staff handle it, instead of responding because you feel you need to. Give the correct info from the calls. Or better yet train people correctly. Will be taking business elsewhere. SUPPORT LOCAL...NOT THIS PLACE. I know many people in Roselle just dont take the time to say the same things.

Went for compression socks 20-30 mmhg, just one pair. Staff friendly-sales person a bit of a con artist, since I'm in sales also. Sign in fitting room $25 for sizing. "We haven't charged this for years, there just in case someone gets fitted and takes sizes and buys elsewhere." Cost $89 Plus tax for a single pair of compression socks. Check the net 90% of compression socks are $12-45. I think I know how they tucked that $25 in the retail pricing-I took them out of frustration and a blood clot mostly out of need. Pricing it totally out of line. My best guess, and opinion only, the socks I have likely didn't retail for more then $30 at most.

The cashier is very kind lady and helpful. I had questions and she didn't mind explaining the benefits of products.

I walked in and wasn't greeted. I waited while a few workers stared at me and just talked amongst themselves. When I was finally helped, I asked how I go about acquiring the equipment, but the man just took a quick look at my form and told another person to 'take care of it'. They shouted at each other across the room, right in front of me, because one person couldn't understand what the other was saying. I'm glad nobody else was on that side because it was really embarrassing that they were openly shouting about the private equiment I was trying to get. This second person took me form, didn't answer my questions or explain what they were doing, and went back to shouting at the initial worker asking if he took my ID yet. I'm not sure why they didn't just simply ask me if I had provided my identification or not yet, especially since we were physically super close. After asking for my IDs, and without saying anything else at all or answering any of my questions, the worker walked away with my paperwork and IDs. They came pack complaining and rolling their eyes about my surgeon's form because they felt it wasn't legitimate. I thanked them for trying, but I would go back to my doctor and just try again another day. What really made me write this review and what made me give it a low rating is the comments and way the worker spoke to me. The worker insulted me and spoke to me like a little kid getting a timeout. I was so embarrassed and insulted, and I will not be returning. On top of not feeling comfortable with my information remaining private, I was very upset with the way I was treated by this second worker. I was shocked with the way the worker spoke to me and treated me based on the reviews, but I will not be returning based on my personal experience.

Dr. Mark is very sweet and kind. He spent time with me on the phone, answered all of my questions and referred me to specialty doctor in Chicago. He didn't want to take my money when he knew he couldn't help me. Very honest man

First time customer yet I love their friendly attitude, great customer service and the price difference, oh my! Different meds' prices vary, I am sure but my savings are tremendous. Very satisfied customer! The owner - Dr. Mark Mandel was highly recommended by the physician I had an appointment with. If possible I will always use Mark's Drug Pharmacy as opposed to the big corporate chains.
