Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Will be doing this again
I am currently staying at the Crewe Hall Hotel and so far it has been
a most enjoyable experience.
There is ample car parking.
Free wifi.
The room accommodation is excellent.
I have a good sized room with en-suite facilities.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the service they gave me was excellent.
I had an evening meal as well in my room which was a Falafel and Spinach burger with potatoes.
The food was excellent.
I would recommend a visit to the Crewe Hall Hotel.
Not the best Q hotel I have stayed in. Have stayed in quite a few. Breakfast was barely warm. Coffee was luke warm. Don't expect this and really don't want to keep having conversations with staff to complain. Room was ok but had a leaky tap.
Nice visit with good range of facilities. Good good. Customer service could have been better
Nice private venue, good restaurant and spa, pleasant staff
We spent one mid week night in one of the original rooms with a lovely four poster bed. The hall is a beautiful location in it's own right and the food in the restaurant was excellent. We will be staying again.
I love afternoon tea here! Also stayed over for my husband 30th. The room was lovely and so was the meal.
Attended a wedding here and stayed as an overnight guest. The old hall itself is beautiful and full of character as are the grounds. The breakfast was exactly what you'd expect and the staff efficient.
On the downside for the price you pay I'd expect to have some water in the room as a bare minimum. Parking was difficult when it got busy and you have got to watch out for the potholes on the driveway if you are entering in the dark.
Fantastic, beautiful, characterful hotel, attentive staff and great facilities.
It is a very opulent setting with lovely period features. I didn't get to see very much of the buildings but what I did see was a treat for anyone with a passion for historical buildings and art.
Clean, great staff. Room furniture needs updating. Old part is definitely nicer than the modern section
Splendid hotel with amazing interior. Staff friendly
Lovely old building, nice staff, great breakfast. Great room, nice and quiet, comfy bed. Would thoroughly reccommend
Excellent hotel, amazing food and very helpful staff.
Lovely. Stayed here for one night and I kept wandering around the place. Clean and big rooms too.
Nice place to relax. Avoid Saturday nights unless you like to gatecrash weddings!
Absolutely stunning place, visited for my partner's birthday in December.
We stayed in one of the 4 poster rooms which was amazing, it had its flaws and blemishes but it's a period building and they all just added to the experience.
I had a full body massage and my fiancee had a massage and facial, after a busy few weeks or was just what we both needed.
Whilst we were getting ready for the evening meal a member of staff knocked on our door with a birthday card and some chocolates which was a really nice touch.
Would definitely stay again without hesitation, thank you too all the staff for a lovely stay.
Fantastic place to stay with lots of charm and history
The Sheridan Lounge and Crewe Hall's famous afternoon tea are really special
A very good place to stay. We have stayed in the old part and the new thanks to being upgraded. Food is as always very good. The tower room has some fantastic views. Only gripe is the Jacuzzi in the spa is very small. The day we stayed there where water supply problems which ment the steam room wasn't working and there was no drinking wate which the spa staff should have mentioned when entering.
This hotel used to be Top class, Now bottom class, everything done on the CHEAP but HIGH prices charged.
Stayed here overnight, the room was lovely and clean and we had a view of the grounds. We attended a wedding here, it was a wonderful day from start to finish.
Wonderful food, brilliant atmosphere, great company 5* all the way
Me and my partner are getting married at Crewe hall in nov so we popped in to show a family member. It's a lovely place and the staff are always welcoming and happy to help
Perfect. Just amazing. The map they'll provide you is quite necessary, you might want to keep it in hand at all times.
Great food and comfortable rooms in a beautiful setting.
Gorgeous building, beautiful setting for a wedding.
Went here as a wedding guest. They seemed to put on a good experience. Stayed the night in the hotel. Bit expensive for what you get. Also a massive Q for the breakfast in the morning
My daughter got married there on Friday what a fantastic venue all the staff were so kind and helpful.
10/10
Staying here for 2 nights on a short spa break. Amazing old building. The main part of the hotel( the old jacobean mansion) is a bit tired and needs some refurbishment. Food in the brasserie is not 4 star and the menu is quite limited. Room service was very slow and the food was cold when it arrived. Must try harder.
Had cream tea there. It was excellent. Food and tea were great, and it's such a beautiful location.
Cold and burnt and under cooked food! All on the same plate! Staff not interested. No covid check-in. Kept waiting for 15 mins before seated and not busy. No one on reception. Had to pay before ate but no wonder given the experience.
Beautiful place and lovely old building. Rooms were clean and modern and the Spa was very relaxing. Food and staff were great and we celebrated our anniversary in style.
Truly fantastic venue for a wedding or even a cream tea . Beautiful house and grounds , amazing rooms , great staff
Rodney Densem Wines Annual Client Tasting at Crewe Hall is probably the largest event of its kind in the region.
Over 500 guests can enjoy the annual wine tasting at the Crewe Hall. Some 250 prestigious wines, spirits and champagnes are available for tasting, many of which are new additions to the RDW portfolio of over 1200 products.
Suppliers and growers are also on hand to present their products, answer questions and give advice, some of whom will travel from Europe and the Southern hemisphere. Master classes are also hold by wine experts.
I visited the spa with a friend and also booked a treatment which was thoroughly enjoyable. Only downside would be the reception lady managed to not tell us that refreshments are only available in the brasserie for which you have to be fully dressed. We were on told this half way through our day when we asked for direction in our gowns and slippers.
Very nice location. Only complaint was a lack of drinks other than tea/coffee
Beautiful wedding venue, good hotel facilities. Drinks are expensive
Crewe Hall is a stunning building , food was a bit disappointing due some of it being cold.
Attended for a wedding, it was amazing. Lovely building, great service and food. Hotel rooms were lovely too. Only down side is the bar is a bit expensive.
Lovely gardens and a beautifully kept up old building.
Fantastic hotel! Wonderful! Take a turn around the hotel and enjoy the beautiful garden.
Lovely venue. Good food. Friendly staff. A bit out of town. Road is very dark if walking.
This place doesn't know what it wants to be - corporate events OR wedding venue OR spa OR fitness OR historic Manor OR hotel. As a result is is not GREAT at being a hotel. Comfortable bed, some excellent staff but also some staff training More
Wonderful rustic venue with brilliant internal architecture and furnishings. Staff are pleasant and the atmosphere is very classy.
I attended for a work party, the staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Pre drink in the brasserie was pleasant and the main room looked really nice.
The food was no better than ok, and the first drink in the bar next to the main room was awful - presumably due to it sitting in the pipes for days. I complained and got a fresh one immediately though.
Decor was pleasant, toilets were clean etc
Overall it was nice, but not amazing.
Lovely building, great staff, good food and facilities
Went for afternoon tea. Very comfortable and pleasant.
Rooms are lovely and the setting of the hotel is beautiful. Service is impeccable.
First class hotel with plenty to do. Service at breakfast was tremendous although the buffet selection could have been a little better.
Well maintained hotel, coping well with new restrictions. Food was lovely and well cooked.
Our room was a feature which was lovingly maintained.
Lovely grounds, polite staff, function rooms could do with maintenance (light bulbs in need of replacement)
One of the worst hotel experiences ever! Shame as the building is beautiful.
Had a beautiful time with my daughters n granddaughters. ....The high tea was awesome. ....The service was excellent n very accommodating. ....visited in August 2014.....The architecture n the grounds were beautiful. ...wish we had more time to explore the area....maybe next time.
Attended wedding fair on 23rd April. Beautiful venue with plenty of free parking. Entrance for fair could have been better sign posted but found it easy enough. Wasn't a whole lot of exhibitions on display but some good leads for the local area as a result.
Beautiful venue. Well maintained. Staff very attentive. Came for Christmas day lunch. Was not the best lunch but we enjoyed it. Had a nice time.
No body (including staff) appeared keen to adhere to the publicly displayed health and safety / covid safe notices. It felt very unsafe at the hotel. Their claim of enhanced cleaning procedures clearly didn't include hoovering the stairwells and clearing used and dirty room service plates and glasses from the corridors.
Information regarding ordering drinks, how dinner packages, track and trace worked was not readily provided.
Food was mediocre, not great quality and expensive.
Stayed for our anniversary, had a spa experience which was amazing xx
Fabulous building great staff exellent food spa to dream for
need I say more
Attended an event in the event suite. Nice place, very clean and tidy. Plenty of staff on hand.
Had grandmother's 70th birthday here. Lovely old venue, victorian era neo-classical decor everywhere! The food was nice, nothing amazing, but nice. I'd have preferred larger portions. Though that's why one goes to a place like this, I suppose, to have food that's delicate, not aplenty.
My family also stayed a night at the hotel, which was delightful. Well presented room, was clean, and a fantastically large bathroom.
A funny note: the lawn within the hotel was being refurbished while I were there, and as a result it was in disastrous shape, so a sign was put up apologising! How lovely!
My wife and i have just come home from a night in the Royal Suite and it was amazing. During our stay, the staff were first class and couldn't do enough to help. We had afternoon tea in the Sheridan Lounge and dinner in the Brasserie and both experience's were outstanding. Top levels of service and attention to detail. Absolutely amazing building with a shed load of history to boot. We will definitely be back !!!
Wow! Amazing venue for my daughter's wedding. Staff very professional. Nothing too much bother. Super comfy beds, FABULOUS room with 4 poster - only slight let down were staff in the Brasserie for beakfast.
A beautiful hotel. The old building is full of history. Really enjoyed my stay
The main hall has fantastic architecture throughout. Steeped in history. Staff were very helpful.
We had a great stay (& an engagement!). The staff were friendly, struggling a bit after the effects of the pandemic but great people and made the stay pleasant. (Just be patient, we all must queue more now.) The grounds are beautiful, the hall and room we had was big and a wonderful view. Good food, but also close for a taxi drive nearby where there's an excellent Indian. We heard there's a good water park nearby too.
My son was recently married there and everyone had a brilliant day from 1300 to 0000. The staff where fantastic and made the great day even better with there help.
Beautiful hotel. Be sure to investigate - there's a stunning chapel, library and halls. The grounds are lovely too. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Rooms are very comfy. Couldn't fault it.
