Repairs were done very well. New cables were not routed efficiently/appealing. Water was sitting in our boat from having the cockpit door left open in their lot. I addressed this after maintenance but never heard back from them.

Marine Evolutions is one of the best experiences with a local business I've had in the DC area since recently moving here. I came in looking for maintenance items and Tony, their Yamaha Tech, was helpful and friendly and saved me time and money. I asked for advice and recommendations on some maintenance items and he didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. Completely honest and knowledgeable business based on my experience and I would recommend them to any boat owner. They have a great facility too. It appears they can do just about anything to a boat engine there.

Very friendly staff , Tim and Tony took the time to show me and explain everything on the outboard. Turns out i had major engine damage, they got it covered under my extened warrarty, No questions ask. I have never been to a marina that ask me when my next tournament was. (how soon i needed my boat back) It was always drop it off and we will look at it in 4 to 5 weeks. I was back on the water in no time. Excellent customer service. Many thanks Tim. These guys are great. Tim and Tony called me the other day and said we are in the neighborhood of your marina and wanted to see if I needed them to stop by and fix anything. I was not even in town and he went over to my boat at belle haven and installed a new ignition device and key. Very reasonable on pricing as well.

Excellent customer service. Marine Evolutions are the best boat mechanics in the area. Toney clearly knows the intricacies about Yamaha outboards that a picky boat owner wants to hear. This is the only place I trust to work my boat.

At first i liked this shop, but when i went to de-winterize my boat, i noticed that parts were missing and they completely botched the winterization, the engine was not properly fogged out, and fried my fuel pump try to pump the gummed up fuel. i asked them to fix the fuel system after this improper winterization, but they refused.

Good riddance to rip offs like Marine Evolutions. I have an older more modest boat like many and got decent service for a decent price from Doug at Alexandria Marine What I got from this outfit was an $810 bill and nearly 3 percent credit card charge which I wasn t informed before I arrived (are these charges legit? I wonder what Visa would think?) Not only that but I brought my boat in on June 1, then after 10 days I didn t hear from them I called and was told they had not triaged my boat and couldn t give me an estimate. About one month later I get a call saying my boat was ready (no estimate too) and an invoice was send with parts costing less than $30 dollars(for spark plugs, fuel filter, sierra kit) and a whopping $780 in labor charges! I don t know about you but at $135 hour I expect quicker, more knowledgeable service to quickly address the problem(s) If you got and older boat and you re not made of money I suggest you take your boat somewhere else hopefully to somewhere it does not take half the summer to fix it!
