I wish there's a ZERO Star Mark cause that's would I would give this place....units are falling apart and yet they stay up in there so welled renovated place chilling....the worst place ever for me to live in and yet they can't even give us parking

Absolute Joke!! BEWARE! Do not let the competitive prices fool you! They are con artists! Completely unorganized, zero effort of communication. They will not answer calls or return voicemails. The property manager was very rude during the showings. They have several "property managers" that can potentially approve you...? After several days of leading me on and charging the several application fees, I received a voicemail saying that the apartment was suddenly rented to someone else the moment they opened the office in the morning, after I was told that there were no other applications being processed. By far the worst experience ever. Reading other reviews, I may have dodged a bullet!

Has been great working with Marcus & Associates- they have gotten back to me in a timely manner and taken care of business.

STAY AWAY! Nothing but trouble for us since day one. Completely awful service. Even towed our car from our gated parking spot that we payed $150 a month to park a car there. The landlord was awful at communicating. I could go on but they cost us $$ and gave us countless headaches. NO GOOD!

During a heavy rain, our gutters pulled away from the eaves causing major flooding in our offices. Marcus & Assts responded quickly, calling in both roofers and gutter repair. A temporary fix and subsequently permanent repairs resulted in no further damage.

Is this even a legit realty company? If I could rate zero stars I would. WORST experience and service. Inquired on a house for rent and paid the application fees. One week later and pressed for time and still no progress, update or response after emailing and calling the company. Apparently they feel it's okay to take people's money and blow them off. Being so frustrated I requested them to refund my money due to not being able to provide the services they promised which they refused. SAVE TIME & MONEY and don't bother with this so called realty company because they're a bunch of thieves unfortunately.

Lorraine is an amazing professional and welcoming person who helped us find our beloved home in Hawai i. Thanks to her we have a reason to return to Hawai i. Lorraine continues to reach out to us once in awhile to see how we are doing, it really makes us feel part of the Marcus and Associates Ohana and we greatly appreciate that. Marcus and Associates is a wonderful company and they have helped us with a lot. As we transition to their property management team to manage our home while the military has moved us to another location.

I moved to Hawaii in early February and Arnette Ishikawa made it easy for me to find an apartment quickly so I wouldn't have to continue to live out of a hotel for weeks on end. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, me staying in Hawaii wasn't going to work out. Arnette was more than willing to work with me through the difficult process of working out the kinks so I could move back to the mainland.

Marcus Property Management Real Estate agent Lurelie Ragaza kept our deposit $784.83, a 10 days stay in an apartment We already moved out on September 27, 2017, and not sleeping or staying there, because it s already empty, I was finishing up to clean the apartment s curtain for final walk. I offered to give her the keys of the apt. she declined, her reason she can t take the key it s because I m not done cleaning, I told her I don t have to continue cleaning the curtain, unless you want me to, she said to finish cleaning, so I told her to come back next day early morning, she declined. Lurelie said, I call you when I have time to do the final final walk, so I waited for her call in my new apartment few days later the secretary called saying someone would come to check the apt., on September 12. I came late to the apartment that we moved out on September 27, 2017, then Lurelie called me saying I ll do the final walk on October 12. Finally, I said, this will be over.
A week and half later she sent our deposit minus $500, charge for bathroom floor cleaning in which they were spot cleaned, the kitchen floor was stained that I don t complain for a charge. And she minus $783.33, of prorated rent in which nobody s there who stayed on those days she charged. This agent has no remorse and dignity.

THIEVES. This happened more than 2 years ago but sadly I'm still thinking about it sometimes. We moved out in April of 2014 in the middle of the month due to military relocation. They took a huge amount out of security deposit for a professional deep clean which we already submitted a receipt for and some other things. We moved out in the middle of the month and were expecting a refund of the rest of the rent and the security deposit. However, we never got it. I called and emailed them several times, they kept saying they sent it but we never got it. THIEVES.

I am the managing member of commercial properties in Honolulu. Kevin Nishikawa of Marcus & Associates has been our exclusive leasing broker for over 15-years representing us in numerous transaction on well over 200,000 SF. I initially met the M&A folks in 1996 when they represented a new tenant prospect. I was so impressed with their leasing team that I asked them to work with us as Landlord. One of the best business decisions I have made.

I've been working with Marcus and Associates for the last 4 years on the commercial side and residential side and I would highly recommend using their services. I don't like anything sugar coated and I appreciate transparency, and this is what you can expect from M&A. If I have a problem with something they either show me why it is the way it is or they help to remedy it within the day. Great company to work with!

Marcus & Associates, especially Joy Yonemura Oda, has sold 3 homes for me and she has been a "Joy" to work with. She's helpful, friendly, and takes the initiative to fix things that will help the sale. If you need something fixed and don't have a person, Joy has a guy.

Joy is also returns calls, emails, and text promptly so you always know where you stand. And she knows the business inside and out. On all 3 homes she's sold for us, we received more than our asking price.

Called and left a message regarding an apartment rental in Maui. Received a return call with a message from "Pamela" requesting to find out if I'm on island or not. Called back and spoke to "Pamela" and she quickly cut me off to ask if I was there or not. Since I am actually away on vacation and told her no. She told me call her back when I get back. I stopped her from ending the call and told her the reason I was calling was to find out the application process. She very rudely told me she can not rent to me if I'm not there. I told her I was calling for information. She never answered my question only that there are 2 applications. She was very rude and I would never do business with these people. Judging from the others experiences I see this is how they do business.

3 years of the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a property management company. From the extremely rude RA's to the lack of communication, not answering emails or following up with maintenance and other problems, late notices, and a terrible move out process. etc.

Long story short, they are rude and will do whatever it takes to empty your pockets.

Avoid dealing with them if at all possible

This business is a disaster. If you are thinking about hiring them to manage your property do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere even if it costs more up front to do so you will save in the long term. Not sure if they launder money or just have no accountability but it s amazing they are still in business. They go far beyond your basic terrible business organization with zero communication or accountability. They ripped off our properties owners countless times with outrageous maintenance charges to the owner that we never experienced as tenants. I m surprised no one has hit them with a lawsuit yet for fraud. Although our owner was an elderly man in poor medical condition they took advantage of so maybe they don t have high profile enough clients to have someone realize what s happening. They were aggressive towards other tenants for no reason and very scandalous. I own rental properties myself and was appalled at the way they do business with little regard or respect for others. Truly an embarrassment to any type of realtor business other than a crooked one. Upon move out my friends were charged for damages that they specifically noted in the original lease that were existing upon move in. All in all Marcus is a legitimate crook of a mis-managed company and should be avoided at all costs on all fronts to avoid the unnecessary fraud and headaches you will encounter dealing with them.

Marcus & Associates are the best. They have been managing our rental property for years and also help us with all of our home repairs and renovations. No matter what we need done, they are honest and always do quality work. Everyone from the office staff to the professionals that come out to the house are always very nice and reliable.
We recently sold a commercial property and Kevin Nishikawa made the experience so effortless and stress free for us. He took such good care of us and kept us informed every step of the way.
This company comes highly recommended, in every aspect.

0 stars. Tried to rent property from these guys. No answers left messages about a CALL back please. Got a text message.. ok at least some sort of contact I figured. I called back and finially got someone, with this realtor it was the worst customer service. Blah blah blah with excuses why she cant do her job. Are you trying to sell and rent properties to customers or just piss them off? She has lots of properties online too. Blind squirrel finds a nut some times, guess maybe she actually rents and gets sales some time some how.

I always look forward to seeing the Realtors from Marcus & Associates during my home inspections. Everyone I have dealt with has been very professional and a pleasure to deal with, even fun at times! A model Brokerage; Buyers and Sellers are in good hands and I look forward to working with them again in 2015.

The property manager name Lorinae she's so rude and somebody needs to confront her because she's not a good property manager she made the tenants having hard time dealing with her. !!! She did not give the tenants the right respond regarding any issues that she needs to Handel she kept saying she will call me back but she never!! I would give you folks ZERO star if I could!!

Marcus and Associates lived up to every expectation that I had for a real estate agency.

Charlene Ikeda was extremely patient and generous with her time while my family was looking for a place to call home. She provided valuable insights on the home buying process and made everything seem so easy. She also provided various referrals for every type of service that we needed in order to buy the home and then move in.

Can't say anything but positives of my experience with the team at Marcus and Associates.

This joke of a company has no respect for other people's time. I wanted to view one of their units, so I made several calls, left my name and number with the secretary, and left a detailed message for Lorelei as directed. When I called for maybe the fifth time, I was told that they were having a showing the following day at 5:00 pm. I left work early and showed up around 4:50. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I called them to see if they were coming. After 4 or 5 calls, someone finally picked up and told me that the unit was no longer available. Incredible customer service.

From my first interaction with Rowena Wong and her associates until I moved out of state, they were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Communicating with the company for any issues I had in my unit such as when the washing machine broke they had a maintenance person on site within a day or two. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent in Honolulu. Also, piece of advice is to make sure you make copies and keep all documentation, correspondence, etc. just in case they forget or misplace anything.

The office staff is friendly. I was here to submit a rental application and was actually approved, however, I decided not to take the unit.

There's so much to improve on. Tenants should be top priority, certainly doesn't feel that way. Always waiting on something
