I like their fried chicken. BUT they short you on "boxes". Twice in the past they short the 25 box by 1 or 2. I complain on the phone and they are apologetic.
This past time, I get the 25 piece box. You can't count them in the store. After I get home and chow down, I find that I only got 21 pieces but charged for 25.
Either count them yourself after they give you the box OR don't buy their fried chicken.

I bought a 18kg of chicken breast for $106.74 which was rotten. You are taking chances when you buy chicken there. They will not accept responsibility for their spoiled chicken. First they offered 10% discount on my next purchase as compensation. I refused that so they offered 20% discount on my next purchase which they limit to a purchase of less than $200. After all, why would I go back there to buy chicken. They don't even deserve one star but you can't post without selecting a star.
The fried chicken is excellent and the price is unbeatable, popeyes doesnt have anything on maple lodge.
I am happy with this Chicken Shop and the quality of their fresh and their frozen meat products are great. The flash frozen chicken breast is amazing.

Great place to buy fresh and frozen chicken at wholesale price. Both halal and non halal is available. The staff members are friendly and the system they have in place seems to be working very well. Never need to wait for anything. The prices could be a bit cheaper for certain items, local stores sometimes have sales that beat these prices.
Shame on you for allowing 850 hens to freeze to death during transport to slaughter. Your inhumane practices will support my family's decision never to buy any off your products.

Saw the video of the way the thousands of chicks are thrown and poured down vents in huge trays as though they were liquid. Picked and tosed. Many die slow painful deaths.

Fantastic work experience with great executives. Place as a whole doesn't smell great, but what can you expect! Workers are mostly local, and pay well and follow all guidelines to the T. I would only recommend this poultry farm in southern ontario - having worked at almost all of them.

Notwithstanding their previous animal cruelty charges, I find their products poor and their advertising very low-ball. They put Original in a large font and in small print below Chicken wieners. Original hot dogs are NOT chicken wieners and they know this. Maple Leaf originals are just that and are NOT chicken wieners. I won't buy their products any longer.

Love this place I go about 2 or 3 times a yr and stock my freezer!I've never had a problem with parking and service has always been prompt. The quality is great and My kids love the chicken popcorn right now inside the little shop they always have some sort of specialty items I'm excited to try.

It is not halal, it is machine slaughtered so the Bismillah is recorded by a video tape and repeated which is not valid for halal slaughter. A Muslim has to slaughter the meat by hand, so they are not halal.
