My dad posted but doesn't realize I actually hate it here...
The staff is great and the school is really nice. One thing I can complain about is the fact that the school is not diverse at all and the white kids can be really stuckup or snoty. Racism has been an ongoing issue at this school for YEARS now so if you have a African American child I wouldn t recommend sending them here at all it s a really uncomfortable setting when your like the only black person in your classes and it s hard to meet friends because a lot of the white people dont wanna talk to you because of your skin color
High school is what you make it. The bad reviews are laughable. Many great teachers, programs and opportunities to find something everyone can enjoy. Library could be better. Favoritism shown to many of the football players but you kind of expect it. Overall decent experience.
Best 3 years of my life so far; I couldn't have been better prepared for college anywhere else in Minnesota! Go Crimson!
I honestly hated this high school so much. They they were racist against people who were not white. There were a lot of stuck up kids here whose parents gave them whatever they wanted and if you weren't one of those kids you would be treated a different way. If you played sports, be ready to see a lot of favoritism to the kids whose parents donated the most money to the booster club or whose parents kissed the most ass to the coaches.

Mgsh was the best high school I ever went to.......everyone was full of energy and enthusiasm, the staff were nice and super hype on Fridays, pepfest and snowdazes.(( MAPLE GROVE SENIOR HIGH )) THE ONLY FAMILY YOU WILL EVER WISH FOR, Nobody is different all students are our sisters and brothers and the staff are our parents . #proudtobepartofthecrimsonfamily
The worst school of all time. Go to Eden prairie high school. The largest high and best high school accord to times magazine.

I feel like my privacy has been invaded. The hall monitors will FOLLOW you into the bathroom. They will literally knock on the stall and ask what you're doing or if you're okay, when you JUST walked in. There are some good teachers but the school is so racist as a whole. There was a time MGSH went VIRAL because a student wrote racist terms on the bathroom stalls against the African American population. That is the only time they did anything, if it wouldn't have gone viral it would have been ignored. There are so many rooms with no windows and it seriously makes you feel like you're in a prison. I like my counselor but I know what I'm capable of doing as a student and she refused to believe me which sucks because it caused me to fail a course. Go somewhere else if you're not white. It's a terrible school. There is literally people who vape in the stalls. Not to mention so many people that don't have parking permits ($50 a trimester) park in the parking lot taking away others parking and get no tickets. They also don't plow the parking lot in the winter, which is what the parking permit money is supposed to go too. That's almost $90,000 a year just from parking permits and they can't even bother to do what they're supposed to do.
Going to this school was the worst experience of my life.
My son attends here and I have been impressed with how much the staff cares. He is finally making improvements in his grades, and getting to do the things that actually challenge him academically. I look forward to the remainder of his school years here.

I had such an amazing experience at Maple Grove Senior High! With all the AP courses offered it really caters to many different abilities and interests. I got an amazing education and made friendships with all sorts of kids. The sports programs are fantastic and the music department (Shoutout Ms. Hellstedt) is incredible. I will sorely miss this place.
