This intimate theater is located right downtown with it's own parking lot. The lobby is spacious and set up for enjoying refreshments before the show. All the seating allows for great viewing.

Cool little place. A bit small, but you feel close to the performers.

I will say that they *do* need to pay and treat their performers better. A friend of mine was one of the actors in "Superior Donuts", and received a grand total of $150 to be in six shows! ...and then was obligated to help tear down the set! Come on Lyric Arts! With the ticket prices as high as they are, you can afford to treat your artists better!

Lyric Arts is by far the best theater to attend in a smaller town. The talent that comes out of this theater is top quality and that's what keeps us coming back. There isn't a bad seat in the theater and ticket prices are affordable. Having the nice free parking as well is a bonus! Everyone that works and volunteers for Lyric Arts are great too! We definitely recommend coming here!

Flavio Betrayed was a fabulous production! Hilariously funny. All the performers were incredible in this physically demanding and creative show. I love this theatre. What a gem! I look forward to seeing more shows here.

I'm so impressed. So modern, updated with amazing performances. I was expecting of an old movie theater with old seats, Way Beyond, they are very professional. Great Lobby to gather before the show with a wine bar and a wonderful place to meet and greet performers after the show.

Convenient parking, accessible, intimate quaint-modern decor, and gifted, highly engaging performers. The sound engineer didn't always get the mics right for the Legally Blonde performance I attended, but I was told by friends that's not usually a problem.

I have been to see a show at Lyric Arts with my children. It was a really great show. Later, I attempted to buy tickets at a group rate for another show and that was a problem. Their pricing is wacky. The youth ticket price on the website is considered "already a discount" so the group discount does not apply to youth tickets, which is really strange. The customer service was not good. So, if you are going with a small group, the shows are great. If you have a larger group, look elsewhere.

We went to see the 1940s Radio Christmas Carol. The actors and singing were good...there were some parts of the production that were a bit chaotic and confusing. I think about half our group enjoyed the show.

Went day after Thanksgiving to see A Christmas Story with family. The theatre is nice and cozy with comfortable seats. The cast was outstanding, even the young actors were polished and fun to watch. Will return for future shows.

Lyric Arts Theatre/Main Street Stage in Anoka is not a typical "community theater." They put on world class plays ("Rent" is coming up) as well as fun shows for the family. It's worth the time to check it out...not a bad seat in the house!

Saw Plaid Tidings for the holidays and had a wonderful experience. The ticket and concessions prices allowed for a wonderful evening at an even better price. The cast was top notch with singing and humor. It was our first time experiencing the theater and we will definitely be making it back.

Excellent Theater! If you want the full package, excellent acting/singing (if a musical), great directing and even a beautiful set design you cannot miss! It isn't a huge theater so you feel that you are apart of the play and all seats are good seats. I have seen many shows here and am never disappointed, yet I am critical... They have shows for every audience so be aware of what you are going to see. RENT and GREASE are amazing shows but are not for children and should not get poor reviews because of it! I am looking forward to see what they do next and will be in the audience cheering them on!

Went to see my first production at Lyric Arts, and was completely blown away. "Silent Sky" had me emotionally invested in every moment. This was so much more than costumes, sets, and bright lights. This show possessed a great amount of authenticity and truth that can be difficult to find in many theaters. The characters were so well developed and also the chemistry between them was so remarkable. The tension was portrayed immaculately and each turn in the story had me sitting on the edge of my seat. Tears rolled down my face at the end of the show because I was not ready to say goodbye to these characters, who in the short span of a couple of hours, had stolen my heart.

Thank you for the escape. I was greeted with a friendly smile at the door and an equally incredible amount of customer service with each interaction with staff and volunteers alike.

We will be returning to this theater and spreading the word!

The singing was great in Grease but my friends and I were very disappointed in the vulgar girations of the dancers and the rotten language. I am so glad I didn't bring a teenager with me. I will be very careful about attending another play at the Lyric even though I have enjoyed a past experience.

My first time at Lyric Arts. We caught the final performance of Legally Blonde. It was a fun show with a fine cast. I and seemingly everyone else enjoyed the show judging by the applause and cheers. Only negative for me was the acoustics. I will definitely go again.

We started attending Lyric Arts performances with taking our grandkids to the Holiday and children's spring shows. They thoroughly enjoyed them. Then we did a couple a year. We then attended a season preview and decided to buy an 8 show season packet. Then we tried a couple concerts. Well that lead to now we buy a season packet plus more of the concerts. It is the best local entertainment we have found. We highly recommend you check out both their shows and concerts. The tribute bands are so good, you can close your eyes and hear the original artists.
