Wud not stay here again
Luvly room but that was about it & that was only because we upgraded. Very aggressive manager wen we complained. Booked restaurant but wen we went they had put us in a tiny corner wich we refused as we cudnt move. Also unruly children allowed 2 climb over chairs tables etc & wen we complained manager told us it wuz up 2 us 2 spk 2 their parents. Ran out of certain foods. I will def not b bac.if u dont mind agressive manager & unruly children then this is the place 4 u.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The room was ok but the bed sheets were ripped the staff in the upstairs restaurant seemed that they didn't want to be there. The food was over priced for what it was. And took two hours for 2 courses to be served.

Been to the Manor House many, many times for a variety of functions, lunches, dinners, overnight stays and to use the leisure facilities. Never had a bad experience, food is always on point, fantastic staff and idilic location. Breakfast is my favourite meal there.

A fine hotel. Excellent spa and pool facilities. Rooms very warm and clean. Sharp wifi. Serves both fine dining and pub grub. Accommodating to families and small children too. Staff very polite, friendly and welcoming.

Downside is the lack of robes provided and no electric car charging on site.

Look out for various online deals throughout the year!

Have stayed here a few times in the Junior Suite, fantastic everything you could want. All staff are so attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them. Room service is first class, especially when you have strawberries and Prosecco waiting for your arrival. The Spa treatments are amazing especially the hot stone and facial, they go that extra mile to make you feel special and the quiet room to relax in is fabulous. Will definitely be back this is a totally enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Stayed here with my elderly uncle, who has extreme mobility issues, mostly because they had an elevator.
No sooner we got him up to the room, the elevator was taken out of order and my uncle was forced to use the stairs, causing him a serious muscle injury.
Additionally, we were not informed on check in that the the hotels hot water supply was not working. We were forced to bath in cold water for our entire 2 day stay.
Finally, on the morning of our departure, we awoke to no electricity, no lights. We all had to use the bathroom facilities by cell phone light.
When we discussed these important issues at check out, we were offered nothing but an apology. Not how I would have handled it if I were the owner.

Too bad because other than that, the place was very nice. Plus we caught the biggest pike they had seen all summer!

Lovely location but quite rude staff. We were there for a family wedding and the bar staff in the cocktail bar the following day were very sharp and unfriendly in general. The venue itself is very picturesque, however.

I think its time hotels started catering for dairy /egg intolerance at breakfast. I am not a vegan but was given a vegan breakfast. Good quality sausages/pudding/potato bread shouldn't contain dairy or egg.

A superb meal served by lovely staff. Delicious scallops followed by succulent lamb accompanied with very tasty mint and artichoke puree, a clever selection of vegetables including flavoursome new potatoes and a medley of asparagus and yellow carrots. Just the right size of portion to leave room for yummy poached pears for dessert. Perfect!

Enjoyed our stay. However, on the website there is no mention that you need to book the pool in 45 min slots. Prefer if there was some transparency on that before booking our stay.
I also am from the South and I was a little shocked to see that not all staff are wearing masks. Okay perhaps that's not mandatory in the North, but I still think the hotel could enforce it a little better. The biggest thing I noted was that I never once in the two days I was there saw a cleaner going around cleaning common touch surfaces....door handles and the likes. Also used coffee cups and pint glasses would sit on the tables in the living room areas for hours. Nobody clearing them away..again nobody wiping down the tables. Also the chairs in the cellar bar are dirty and stained. Time for new ones I think.
Cleaning was a little too lax for my liking.

Love this hotel, my brother had his wedding here in 2013 and then my sister had her wedding here in 2016 and we loved it that much due to its location and the service recieved that when i was looking for a venue for my own wedding there was no question of where to go and i cant wait to have my wedding here in dec 2018. I have attended weddings in some of the so called 5 star venues in ireland and still nothing manages to beat this wonderful place

My wife and I had a great time here. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a junior suite. The room was lovely, tidy, warm and clean. The dinner was fair to good, ambiance was lovely, staff were very attentive and not in your ear or face. The place has an old world atmosphere, but very well kept. The pool was great for a swim, but got crowded later in the afternoon. The outdoor hot tub was relaxing and the sauna was as expected hot! We made a number of walks around the house enjoying the late summer heat and the blue skies. We visited in early September, will definitely go again.

We booked here to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. We booked the spa package which also included our 3 course meal in the beeleek resturant. The food was outstanding and great service. The following day we booked into the spa and used the leisure facilities first. I booked the summer escape with was a back massage & facial and it was out of this world. I left feeling relaxed and my skin super smooth! I would highly recommend booking your next night away here as it won't disappoint! Looking forward to our next visit!

Quality location with fantastic staff and hotel experience.
We visited for our second year anniversary and not only did we receive a lovely welcome card and platter of treats, but received an excellent upgrade! Thank you to everyone
