Good place to work, if you re not working at manor care east in oak lawn.

I was fired for a case that I beat, I was forced to work housekeeping coming from being the on of the best dietary aid they had after. I proved I didn t even go to court for my case that I beat. my business that, I only told my boss was around the whole nursing home. I seen the house keeper admin pull a cna in the supply closet and tell her what I went to lock up for. I also heard her say she can t wait till I m late so she can fire me. I was fired for being late on a Sunday 7:00am shift when the 381 pace bus don t even run till 8:30am, I was told to stay on camera wipe walls down so I wouldn t go in the residence rooms come on man.

Theis place smelled so bad that my nose was hurting. My mother was laying in a pool of filth, only to be changed because the ambulance came to take her to the hospital and we came there. The personnel should do a better job of keeping patients clean. Whats with the little bitty tvs.

Lack of communication through the nursing staff. They hardly let me speak to my own grandma and didn't let us know we were able to see her. HER OWN FAMILY.

Some of the employees were great and caring but most did as little for patients as they could
Very much out of date and communications between employees was sporadic at best.

Unfortunately since my father arrived it's been incredibly challenging to talk with him. I had his belongings sent to him including his cell. I think his cell must be lost or not working. That means using the Manor Care direct line. But it seems when calling I cannot get consistently get through. This also happens when my family calls, too. Montgomery Place was his previous skilled rehab and the care and support was more consistent and less concerning. My heart goes out to frontline workers for surving this heartless pandemic. And it's sad when your parent needs care and the system available does not have what it needs to provide givens: access to family, reliable follow up, the right amount of support.

My Dad was recently admitted here. This is my 1st experience dealing with a nursing/rehab center. Overall I am happy with the facility i.e. cleanliness, staff, and attentiveness. The therapy team will work with your schedule if you communicate with them. The Social Worker was there to provide me with valuable information as well as answer any questions I had. The nurses were on top of the situation when my Dad's condition changed and was proactive in having him transported to get it taken care of immediately as well as notifying me in a timely manner. My positive experience with this facility is based on my ability to communicate my Dad's needs as well as my expectations. I look forward to my Dad's return to this facility to continue his rehabilitation.

It is so hard to get in contact with a patient. The staff is absolutely no help. It is so frustrating just trying to call.

I am patient there and all I noticed how much .Friendly .nice .clean.caring.good jobs.no drama.

I had my mom transferred here from another facility today. I was totally pleased with the service my mom and I received! I could've cried tears of joy knowing my mom is going to be taken care of like I was there doing it myself. I can rest tonight knowing she is in good hands! Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because most of the food so far is too sweet for her taste buds but it's less than 24 hours. I'll just check into different food options specific to her. Gives me peace.

Great facility since I came here for rehab and nursing from Christ.
I brought in my father 3 weeks ago and everything has been a great experience.
The staff is responsive and kind to the needs of my father.
I will recommend anyone to come here for the great service I received from the staff.
