Needless to say, I was offered a full time position today.

My experience with Manning was great! I worked with Dan F and he was extremely helpful. He always responded to my questions or concerns and seems to work 24/7. He would also help prep for an interview whether it was connecting on a Sunday or early on the day of. They worked with me and after months of interviewing during this crazy time I got to the final round with multiple companies with multiple offers. I definitely recommend this agency and would use them again.
I had a really good experience with Manning Personnel. I met with Christopher after having prior experience with a couple of other prominent Boston staffing agencies. My prior experiences left me pretty wary of staffing agencies, which hadn t proved fruitful and had instead felt like a bit of a waste of my time. Christopher was great. He sat down with me for close to an hour and gave me solid resume help (with examples) and strategy tips for my job hunt. He was also very honest with me and told me that I was more likely to receive a job offer on my own (but with his help) - that honesty was huge to me. I did end up finding a job on my own after taking his tips and advice - a great job. Even though he didn t receive any payment from my success finding a job, and even though he knew he probably wouldn t, Christopher still gave me much of his time and attention. It meant a lot to me, and proved that not all staffing agencies are motivated primarily by the profit motive. It was real help, and I am genuinely thankful for it.
I have worked with Manning Personnel for the past 5 years, and they have become a valuable resource for me. They are friendly, timely, and always find me a great job. Being a performing artist, I work lots of short-term and contract jobs in between performance periods. Manning has its finger on the pulse of downtown finance, Cambridge biotech, and everything in between. They are competitive and professional, but still maintain the family-owned feel they are known for. Highly recommend!
Mary Manning and Bailey were a tremendous help during my job search. Mary in particular is a kind, transparent and incredibly smart person. She knows how to bring the best out of people and will be your biggest advocate before, during and after the completion of your job search. She will work with you every step of the way and is very flexible (e.g. she's willing to text after hours and to jump on a call during the weekend). Mary runs a family owned agency and such is apparent when you enter her office. Everyone is very friendly, supportive and dependable. One thing that stood out while working with Mary was that she was always transparent, encouraging and efficient with her work. She reached out to me immediately after getting word of a new position, she would negotiate the highest rate of pay and before every interview, she would give me the most encouraging pep talk. Overall, I would highly recommend Manning Personnel Group.
My experience with Manning was fantastic. I was in touch with Ali C who was awesome - professional, friendly, and very responsive. She listened to what I was searching for in a job and found the right fit for me. She sent me many job descriptions to get my feedback and they were all opportunities I was interested in. When I had interviews, she prepared me in advance via phone and email. I was happy that the whole process was quick - about a month from our initial conversation to getting a job offer (and that was during the December holidays)! I highly recommend Ali and Manning!
The whole Manning team is very fast-paced, but thorough with their focus on finding the right match for their clients on both the employer and employee end. I was surprised at the level of detail and dedication that Colleen took in making sure I had a good sense of each opportunity, and helping me craft my resume to really help m experience stand out. I would definitely use them again, though I am thrilled with the placement that was made, so hopefully I never will need to.
Although I ended up getting a job offer from a company outside of what MPG had found me, I can't express how helpful Dave C. was with the whole process. He wanted to find me a job that suited my needs, and really listened to what I was looking for. He got me a couple interviews that both excited me and if I hadn't gotten the other job offer, I know this would have been a relationship that was beneficial to my job hunt. I feel confident I would have found a position through MPG that I was extremely happy with.

A friend of mine referred me to Manning to help me find temporary work while I was between jobs. I reached out to Manning and they responded right away and were able to meet with me the next day! When I met with them everyone was so nice and friendly. Before I even left their office, they had found me multiple temporary positions. Christopher Robinchaud is a rockstar. Mr. Robinchaud has a warm and professional demeanor, whether he is going over your resume with a fine tooth comb, helping you identify ways to best share your story to prospective employers, or sifting through the numerous opportunities that the Manning Personnel Group has to offer, in order to find the one that will be a best fit for you. He is deliberate, considerate and candid while helping you in your search, and I highly recommend working with him.
Total waste of time. They fake post listings to get you in the door. I met with them and they promised me the sun. I then never heard from them. I guess I don t look like I stepped out of a J Crew catalog. Funny I applied through a different source for the job I thought I was applying to with Manning. Turns out I got the job and Manning never had the listing.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They called me and set up a day to meet me. I met with a lady named Mary and another woman named Kathryn and they spoke with me to get to know me a little more and what type of jobs I was looking for. I gave them a list of the jobs I was looking at on their site and wanted to apply for and I was told by them that my resume would be submitted. So I thanked them and waited to see if I would hear anything back because I was told I would be notified if there were any updates. I contacted Mary a month later regarding any update on any of the positions we had discussed and she replied stating that she has not heard anything back. About a week later, I received a phone call from Kathryn to offer me a job that was only for one night 6-11. Mind you, this was last minute and late notice (2 hours in advance) and I declined because I was in the middle of running errands. I did apologize and let her know that it was last minute as I was busy that day and her reply was that it was okay and she knew it was last minute. So I e-mailed Mary again for another update and she replies back to me telling me she did not get an updated and she will e-mail me, but with an irritated tone within her reply as if I am not supposed to follow up with her. Ever since then, I did not get any e-mails or phone calls from anyone and it has been well over a year. I got my first full-time job on my own and yesterday made 10 months I have been employed there. While Manning Group did something for others, they did nothing for me and gave up on me after offering me something at the last minute that was only for one day.

My experience working with Cory at the Manning Personnel Group was exceptional. From initial contact, until she successfully placed me into an EA role a couple weeks later, she consistently supported me throughout the interview process. Cory went above and beyond to ensure I was prepared for interviews, and provided an approachable but professional service. In addition to working with Cory, I also spoke with Tim on multiple occasions, and he was extremely professional and helpful as well. I worked with Manning Personnel Group for a few weeks and was disappointed with the service. My goal was to find places to apply to which aligned with my education/overall career goals. However, I did not receive any assistance from Manning group in finding employment. I would call once a week to check in and it seemed their goal was to get me off the phone as quickly as possible while providing the least amount of assistance. I took great initiative in keeping in touch with the recruiter at Manning, but was quickly discouraged when the help I was looking fell short. The service felt unprofessional from day one. No leads were given to me, they never followed up with me on anything. Unless I called them, they never reached out to me with any updates or information to provide me.
Don't bother going there if you're not blond or blue-eyed- if you know what I mean. I doubt it very much that they retained my application after I left. The atmosphere was not a friendly one and no one said hello when I entered. Mary entered the interview room and I sensed she may have been irritated. The interview was short (8-9 minutes) and she barely took notes- she never smiled once. Mary immediately left the room after I said I had no more questions without a handshake or further acknowledgement. I was left sitting in the room to see myself to the door. Despite, the unfortunate event, I would recommend anyone just as long they look nothing like me. I guess my education and experience made no difference, or the fact that I made an extensive effort to present myself well. Thanks, Mary.

Did not treat me equally or professionally, I even spoke to Ali a second time only to be told I am circling back, I felt berated. Would not recommend to any job seeker they are looking to "place" you with a job lesser than your current value for their commission felt pushed. Interesting how the mixed reviews are either 1 star or 5 star no in between. Really be cautious with your time and energy investing in Manning Personal Group and be wary of a mix of 1 and 5 stars usually means somthing is amiss.

I was connected to Colleen and Manning Personnel Group after I applied to a random job posting on Craigslist. Colleen contacted me and was very up front and honest about the fact that I would most likely get the job, but also that I was over qualified and probably wouldn't be happy in that particular position. She invited me to meet with her anyway, and immediately hit the ground running to find me a position that I would be happy in. Colleen helped me re-work my resume, and made it clear that she was working to find me a career, not just a job.
I can't thank Colleen enough for her help throughout my job search process, even though (and ESPECIALLY because) it wasn't a very long process! I first met with Colleen on a Wednesday morning, and had an offer for a temp-to-perm position on Friday! I am now in my fourth week at this company, and I couldn't be happier.
When we started working together, I was becoming discouraged and desperate, and getting frighteningly close to the end of my resources. So Colleen could not have come in at a better time. I cannot rave about Manning enough! I have a very "unique" background, that is hard to fit in the jobs I was applying for, due to a career change because of certain circumstances, leaving me burnt out and depressed in the job application process. I went months and months of applying endlessly, and the only interviews I seem to get were the ones where I had a connection (and I'm not particularly good with networking to begin with, so they were far and few). I searched for 'top recruiters in Boston' and let's just say they all disappointed. I won't mention them by name, but they wasted my time, gave me false hope and had little follow-through on their part, with no contact for months, and I would get pathetic, measly replies after hounding them.
After being burnt several times by useless recruiting agencies (you know who you are), I decided that I will try the next one down the list, with no expectations whatsoever. I worked primarily with Dave, and he was so caring and kind, and I finally felt I had my own cheerleader in this dreadful job hunting process. Within a week, he had 3 interviews lined up for me. Within 2.5 weeks, from first contact, I started my new job! I would've started sooner if it weren't for the holidays. They really follow-through, and when they say they're looking for openings for you, they mean it! Before every interview, I had a call with Dave to prep me for what's to come. I didn't even ask for it -- he just did it! They went above and beyond, and they continue to keep in touch with me to make sure all is good in the new place. I met several former Manning candidates in this job and other places I interviewed, and they all have nothing but amazing things to say, and it's no surprise there.
I know at this point I am sounding like I get commission for endorsements lol, but the truth is, I was in a difficult spot, mentally, financially, and I would want anyone else in a similar situation to find the same help that I did. Vocational rehabilitation, if you will. Save yourself the frustration, and start with them first.
Manning Personnel was such a lifesaver for me with finding a new job! I worked directly with Mary, but I get the sense that everyone in that office has the same drive and determination as her. She worked tirelessly to be in constant communication with me concerning new opportunities, including calling on weekends and even while she was on vacation! She really listened to what I was looking for in my next career move, and I always felt that she had my best interests in focus. Mary took the time to speak with me before and after every interview to make sure that I was prepared, and I always went in feeling that I had her support. I am so thankful to have found her, and will recommend their services to anyone!
I applied for a position and within 7 days I had the job. They are super professional and will help you negotiate if needed. 3 months later and I have to say I absolutely love my job. Thumbs up!
I first reached out in April, and it took three calls to the office in order for them to confirm the receipt of my resume. I was called in for an informal interview with Kerri Burke, then never heard from her again.
I emailed her a month later asking to reconnect and get things going, again this took two calls and an email. She asked me to email her an updated resume, which I did, but have not heard from her again and it's July.
Hollister Staffing reached out to me, set up an interview, and processed me all in under 3 days. Hollister's office is also much bigger, and the staff are much more professional than those at Manning. I would not recommend using Manning unless you just want to sit around for months.
Looking for a career change, I reached out to Manning Personnel Group to explore new opportunities. Within minutes, I received a call back from Ali C. who set up a time for us to meet in person at their Boston office and to learn more about my professional goals. From the start, Ali C. was fantastic. I ve had poor experiences working with recruiters in the past and I can t speak highly enough about my experience with Manning. Ali C. was responsive, helpful (even working with me during off hours and weekends to get me prepped for interviews) and found me roles that were a great fit for me, not just sending me anything that came through. She recently helped me land my dream job and I m so grateful!
Ellie Woods and Kelly Manning are extremely talented at what they do. This is the best experience I have ever had with a recruiter. They are engaging, have wonderful personalities, prepare you for the interview, ask to help you if they see something that could be changed to better your resume and most importantly they KEEP IN TOUCH. After the first day they have called and presented opportunities to me. I would not recommend many recruiters but this company is wonderful. I am so glad I found them.

I reached out to them via their website, and didn't receive a response initially, necessitating that I follow up via phone. I eventually spoke with Joan, who apologized for the lack of follow up, and suggested I come in for a meeting.
The meeting was brief. Joan was a bit late, came in, sat down, and asked me to explain what I do. I work in the BI field (BI manager), and defined/described what that was. Twice she asked if it 'was like tech support', to which I replied it was not. I did say I did a lot of project management activities in my prior roles, and she replied she does have a fair amount of PM roles currently, but none specifically suited to.my skillet. She asked me to add her on LinkedIn and said she'd forward along any roles that matched my skill set. That was the last I heard from Joan, or anyone at Manning for that matter. I did eventually find a wonderful job on my own.
Although a waste of time for me personally, I gave two stars because I did sense a general willingness to want to help, but I think that I was disadvantaged because the recruiter wasn't clear on what a BI professional does, and so didn't send anything along in terms of job postings.
Manning is hands down the BEST recruiting firm. They placed me at a job five years ago and kept in contact with me since then. After grad school I reached back out to them, and my recruiter, Kerri, was still working there! I ended up temping at Manning over the summer, and now work here full-time. I can see why there is almost no turnover...such an amazing group of dedicated and hard-working recruiters that truly care about you and your job search!

I was very impressed with Manning Personnel Group in particular my experience with David Conlon. It was easy to upload my resume on the website and within 24 hours David reached out to me to set a time to meet in person. I have a unique background and David immediately "got it". Within 48 hours he set me up with two interviews! Ultimately, I found a job on my own, but I am certain David would have continued to advocate for me. He was responsive, thorough, and offered very good insight into the interview process. I would highly recommend working with Manning.

I have never worked with a recruiting/staffing agency before, but I can't imagine that it gets better than this. As family-run business, they truly work together to find the best opportunities for their job searching candidates. I had an initial interview in their offices and was very happy to hear that they truly wanted to find a job that would be a good fit for me with respect to both my salary needs, my professional interests, and cultural fit. I ended up working with three of the siblings across the course of about 2 months. They prepared me very well in advance of the several phone interviews and in-person interviews that I had with prospective employers. They always took the time to call me outside of working hours and give honest and very useful feedback. They ultimately helped me land a job offer that I am truly thrilled about. Not only is it in my (somewhat unique) field, but it has room for professional growth (which was my primary reason for switching jobs in the first place). I can't recommend these folks enough. I will absolutely be staying in touch with them and would go back to them in a heartbeat!
