Best BBQ I ever have here in Seoul. Food are sumpteous and the portions are generous. A must visit if you crave for an American style food.
Manimal is in delicious and authentic. Initially I thought that the set menu expensive. However there was plenty for 2 people. Truthfully the sides of potatoes and the beans could have been hotter.. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.. I would definately recommend and go again...
The food is delicious and the price is not expensive compared to the quantity and taste. I am willing to visit again. This store does not have a parking lot. The bar seats by the window are good.

Absolutely BEST BBQ in Seoul.....up on the Hill behind Coreanos at the entrance of the Itaewon District.....Yes Linus BBQ is good too...BUT..... Try the Manimal Platter $99 (W99,000). It will feed 4 grown Men ( Korean or Foreign ) no problem.... and if You are looking for Pizza.... Try Motor City ( same owners ). 2nd floor near McDonalds...in Itaewon. If You like Western Style Smoke BBQ...the You need to come to Manimals...... You will Love it !!! It has My Cowboy stamp of Approval !
Great American bbq retreat in the Itaewon area of Seoul! You can order between several meat options and then you get a choice of sides. They also have beer on tap and mixed drink specials. The prices are expensive, but decent for Seoul. You can get pulled pork, ribs, chicken etc and sides include things like Mac and cheese, coleslaw, and beans! Everything is cooked well and I never had a bad meal there!
Barbecue restaurant. Pulled Fork. Chicken barbecue. Both beef and beef are delicious, but personally, the pork is good. Local beer also has a good aroma. Half of foreigners.

A great place to enjoy a Texas barbecue in Korea that you really wanted to see and eat American chefs.
As others have noted, finding barbecue of this quality in Korea was a surprise. The meat was extremely well prepared and the biggest surprise was the sides. The spinach with mushrooms and the grilled broccoli were both very tasty.
The food is delicious and the view is nice but the place is small. Waiting will be prepared!
Really solid food and great beer options. Brisket isn't ready until after 5pm, but the stand out dishes are the BBQ chicken, pulled pork and green chile mac and cheese.

Just as delicious as the barbecue we had in Austin, Texas. If you eat two men, you should eat three people for 48 thousand won. Price is cheaper than American. Will come again someday.
I loved it. Great combination and ambience in a great multi cultural part of town. Tried the beef, the chicken, highlight, the spare pork ribs, everything was delicious and fineness to my our wish. Recommended, try the food, good vibe, cool place sitting in one of the best Seoul neighbourhoods.
Better than Linus's, but more expensive. The sides were phenomenal, especially the grilled veg with grits/parmesan broccoli. Barbeque itself was good. Small place, and the entrance is in an alley and somewhat hard to find.

Ordered the pulled pork, smoked chicken, cheese stuffed sausage, grits and veggies, macaroni, and broccoli. Everything was amazing except the broccoli. You must visit this spot. They need to open a place in Pyeongtaek!!!!
Great American BBQ option in Seoul. Brisket is my favorite, pulled pork is pretty good too. Ribs could be dry sometimes.
The taste of barbecue was really good! But I think the rib was little overcooked and dry. Didn't have a juice.. and the table was too small
A place that sells real American BBQ platters I ordered a 99,800 won platter for 4-5 people and ate all the representative menus. Everything is so wonderful that you can t hide your superiority I remember a lot of sausages with a really fragrant raspberry rib and spicy taste. It s really a loss to eat only two or three menus here... There are more than four people to taste them all
I was born and raised in Texas, and I have to say - this is some of the best bbq I have ever had. The brisket and the green chili mac and cheese are definitely the best I ve had, and the chicken is up there as well. Highly, highly recommend - I was completely stunned to find such good bbq in Seoul.

It was nice to sit by the window and cool, but when the music was loud, I was talking. The taste of food is not very tasty, but not until the taste of life!
Best Mac and cheese I've had period. Brisket is also on par with the best hands down. If you crave american style BBQ this is the place, especially if you like a little tug on your ribs.

I used to live just a 3-minute walk from where Manimal Smokehouse resides. If the restaurant was around while I was living there, I'd probably be a regular customer and much, much heavier. On a trip back to visit family, we made our usual pilgrimage to some of our favourite and some new BBQ spots. This one was a new one for us, but it came with many great reviews so we were willing to give it a go. I was very pleased with the quality of our entire meal. It wasn't busy when we got there and we had our pick of the smaller seating area to devour this meaty goodness. I'm someone who usually loves a good brisket and will pass on the sausages, but I've got to say that the Manimal sausages are some of the tastiest I've had anywhere. If in doubt, grab the meal with a little bit of everything and then you can double down on your favourites the next time you visit. Next time, I'm in Seoul. I'll be visiting Manimal again :)

American BBQ, the proper way. It might be a bit expensive but the experience is worth it!
They had set menu(a kind of platter) for 2 or 3 people, and it was great. But, it was a little expensive and there was only one air conditioner with opened kitchen, so it was hot there.
It is close to authentic but still not quite like the real thing. I'd skip the ribs next time. Great if you're homesick or are not expecting true american bbq. Good place for dates.

it's delicious. The smoke smell inside the shop is so strong that you shouldn't wear too much clothes. But the brisket is delicious.

Itaewon Barbecue This is the best place but I'm sad that Brisket doesn't work for lunch.
My favorite Texas style BBQ in Seoul. Excellent brisket and chicken. Melts in your mouth. Sooo juicy. Ribs are pretty good but the meat doesn't melt in your mouth like the brisket or chicken does. Per person spend is about 20,000 KRW (18.00 USD) without alcohol. With a decent amount of alcohol will be about 35,000 KRW ~ 50,000 KRW depending on how much you drink.
Probably some of the best American barbecue I have ever tasted. Visited two years apart and left consistently satisfied. This place is a real gem.
The meat must be varied. Firewood is fragrant, but there is no scent in the meat or meat. The price is very expensive.

This place is a little pricy but man it is so good. They actually deliver if you have a shuttle app. So of course my boyfriend ordered from here at least once a week. The ribs are the best thing on the menu. The meat falls off the bone!
