The park will always be enjoyable for the kids ... The facilities are pretty old.
We hope you also have a proper signage for the spots to go according to the package taken. My son enjoyed the oceanarium and the sea lion show,
You should bring some extra clothing, shades tsaka handyfan.mainit kasi.

Better now than 4 years ago. More fans and less heat, more accomodating and a lot of attractions and sea creature variants.
Suggestion: Tickets (Oceanarium) should be for a day and not a single entry only, we missed a part of oceanarium due to rain and areas at the end of the tunnel for picture taking due to another schedule with the sea lion show.
Hope they can rectify this next time.

I always visit this place on my visits to Manila, it's definitely very old but still keeps up with some pretty cool attractions, such as the walk in glass tunnel where you can see many of the large inhabitants in the tank. They even have a penguin exhibit where you can pay a small fee to hand feed. It's very adorable and fun for the family, more fun though is being able to touch a manta ray in the pool near the performance stage. Be sure to look at klook for deals though, you'll save a lot on the entrance fee.

Because there are various exhibits in the hall, I think it is a good place to bring children on rainy days or hot days.
At dusk, you can have a romantic time while watching the sunset from the hotel's terrace bar, so it's okay if you don't have children!

the main reason we went to manila ocean park was to see the penguins. *we love penguins!* however, there are other attractions available as well. we went to the oceanarium, trails to antarctica and watched the water symphony. before that tho, we ate at gerry's grill and shopped around the complex at the various vendors. we were also able to see manila's beautiful sunset on the bay before the symphony show. manila h2o hotel is right next door as well.

It is a mall that has an oceanarium. The tour of the oceanarium lasts maybe 45 minutes to 1 hour. It wasn't as big as I originally anticipated, but was still worth the visit. The "tunnel" was definitely the best part. I'm sure there are bigger oceanariums in other countries, but still, there's nothing like this in the area I am from.

Nice place for a day/half day outing. Honest staff. I forgot my things and went back the next day with low hopes of finding it. To my pleasant surprise the staff fully cooperated and recovered my belongings.

Recreational Facilities needs more improvement.

Recreational Facilities needs more improvement.
Observations H2O hotel:
Lobby Presentation: Leaking Ceiling
Rooms: Rooms are okay (With Aquarium) though their doors are thin not soundproof.
At 7am their housekeeping trolley reverberates in the corridors as if someone's banging the door of your room.
Food: Stale and only a limited food choices you can pick on their buffet.
Fireworks: Didn't even last 2 minutes
"Fresh Fruit Juice": You'll be disappointed when you order it.
Staff are friendly

Manila Ocean Park Review:
------- Kids would enjoy and a for people who doesn't have any familiarities with the marine life ----
Oceanarium: Not much exotic aquatic species you can view.
Birds of Prey: They only have 1 species of bird.
Sea Lion Show: It's okay though I would suggest you sit at the front red seats to enjoy the view.
Trails of Antarctica: consist of one small glass enclosure where you can see penguins (That's all there is to it and a few art works)
World of Creepy Crawlies: you can view a few range of species of Frogs, Replies just lizards no Alligator or Crocodile, Stick Insects, Cockroaches, and Turtles (few).
Fish Spa: Is okay.

Honestly would not recommend as a good place to Spend a New Year next time. You'll just be disappointed.

For the most part its ok , however facilities could have been maintained better , it was crowded due to the markdown , but i believe attractions could have made more interesting , it looks run down and need a minor facelift ( repainting works etc )for it to look good , has potential though

we went there around 6pm Saturday.. around 8pm while me and my family and other guests were still inside they started closing lights and gates without even advising us guests .. THE ADMIN and SECURITY SUCKS i will start to suggest people not to visit the place.

Wonderful place to spend a whole day.

Wonderful place to spend a whole day.
Many attractions which will keep you occupied. Depending on the package the number of attractions varies. Tickets can also be purchased online prior to visiting the park.
Highlight of this place is the aquarium. One can find so many exotic fish varieties and feel amazed. Under water see through tunnel is just 20 feet in length though.
Other attractions like sea lion show, bird show, creepy crawlies, talking penguin show, birds of prey are a must watch. Don't miss the fish spa. I really loved this. Timing for sea lion and bird show will be mentioned in the ticket. So plan accordingly.
Lot of food stalls to satisfy your taste buds. Though I went here alone, I am sure kids will enjoy a lot.

People in Manila, Philippines, touched by the decision of the international arbitration court at The Hague backed by the United Nations. The verdict on the Philippines side of the lawsuit aimed at China over the South China Sea dispute. The international court concluded that there is no legal basis for China's "nine-dash line" to claim almost the entire South China Sea.

My first visit to Manila Ocean Park was on it's Grand Opening Day...May 1, 2008 to be exact. The only attraction back then was the Oceanarium. No hotel, no mall, no nothing. Pretty much empty on all sides. Been wanting to come back and visit it for the longest of time. And after nearly 11 years, I'm glad I did! Sooo many new attractions and so many fun things to do. I definitely had a blast!

Love it

The place is great, but it could be better. I can't pinpoint the exact detail, but its just lacking something that'll take it to the next level. Nevertheless, a MUST visit for all locals and tourists.
