I just wanted to take the time to give appreciation for this store. I have ordered from them twice in the past month, since we can't come to the store in person at the moment due to the virus. Tommy emailed me when they were out of stock on one of my items and offered a replacement or to remove it from my order. My order was sent very quickly. I received the inquiry from Tommy yesterday and my order was delivered less than 24 hours later. I always love coming to the store but my online orders have also been excellent! They also use the smallest boxes and minimal packing supplies in order to receive your delivery unharmed but also by not wasting shipping supplies. Just wanted to say how much I appreciate their hard work during this difficult time. They are great!

I find it hard to believe that the dye I bought,Rit Dye More,would work so beautifully for synthetic gloves.I couldn't be more pleased with the results;And thank you for the customer service.I'm a very happy customer!

They have just about anything you could need to run a Broadway wardrobe or hair/makeup department or a fashion show. They always have great customer service and will go out of their way to help answer your questions and find what you need for any project.

As a special effects makeup artist I haven't found a lot of material, although they do have a nice radius if you're just starting out. However, a lot of make up, hairdressing and wig equipment !!!! The staff are very helpful, I will definitely return.
This store is the best they have everything u need plus staff is great my secret low-key spot on my way there today but hours are from 10pm -12am why is that ? Either way ill be there need to stock up

A place to visit if you like to customize things, such as sneakers, clothes ... Etc also have endless paints of all kinds, for clothes, sneakers, hair ... I almost went crazy with everything I found, brushes , liners ... It is on the eighth floor, we were looking for a store on the street and, thank goodness for reading the emails from the mailboxes. The apartment is huge and as I say it has everything, affordable prices much better than buying it from anywhere else online. They told us that very possibly they would send us international shipments. Let's see if it's true because I want to buy everything!
A nice spacious area with lots of brands of makeup to choose from; pro, high end and niche alike. Great woman with blue hair and glasses on the floor that was super helpful, kind and patient. The reason for my 3 star review was that I noticed after leaving that some items I purchased were priced above MSRP - totally okay and I m sure they re not the first place to do it; I should ve asked prior to purchasing (store credit only on unopened items return policy) and I noticed the line I purchased from was one of the few that didn t have a price list like some other brands did. It s moreso on top of that when I called after making the purchase and KINDLY asked about the price difference that a man answering the phone had an attitude when I asked and his answer was Well, we re not (brand name), so... I politely told him Of course, I understand I was just curious - I didn t mean any offense and I was being kind because of his rude, defensive tone. Even after my UNNECESSARY apology he, with the same tone said Yeah, ok, thanks. And hung up. That alone made me regret making any purchase at all. I don t mind spending the extra dollars, but when I kindly ask a question and you already have my money, don t be rude.
Anything you could want if you're a wardrobe person
I have been shopping here for years and am always blown away by how many innovative products that have that I have never seen anywhere else. Even if you do not work in fashion, wardrobe, or styling, they have useful things. I buy all my hangers here. The ones I bought 11 years ago still look brand new and at around $1.50 each, they are way better priced than what you will find at Target. Their store is closed now but I received my online order quickly and they included a free bottle of hand sanitizer. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Best place to get any supplies you need for behind the scenes of fashion. They have everything you could ever need and a huge selection.
I love this place. It's where the pros shop and their selection is mind blowing. From fake blood to pastees lol. I even replaced my iron while here with a super sturdy one. Sometimes I just wander off of 7th Avenue and simply browse. Thank you.

I love this store they have almost everything I need .The pricing is more then reasonable.But more importantly the staff is very kind and professional. All the times I walked in the store everyone says hello and they are well informed about the product they are selling.

It was very cool seeing all the supplies and affordable too, the workers there are so nice.
I ended up paying almost double for an otter wax product, ( stupid not to check around) and the salesperson sold me the wrong type and ended up ruining a pair of jeans in the process... very dissatisfied !

This place has a large cosplay area with a myriad of supplies, which makes it a must visit if you are making costumes. They have foss shape, worbla, and EVA foam. Becka was extremely helpful and showed us techniques to work with the materials that were sold there.

This is a hidden industry gem that can be spotted by anyone. Sign up for their emails for notifications of sales on everything sometimes up to 30%. In store pickup is free. They carry everything one would need to take care of clothes & shoes incl. the full line of Guterman thread @ a good price. One floor above Manhattan Wardrobe Supply is Manhattan Makeup Supply which carries almost every brand I use in my pro makeup artist kit & then some. They also carry hair & wig stuff.
I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in this place!! They don't have a great selection of makeup, hardly any brushes, hardly any lip liners, whatever I was looking for, most of it wasn't available there. You can do better at Face Values

Store site states that the place closes at 6 pm on Saturdays. Called an hour ahead to no answer, no actual details of this place exists. Got there 15 to site stated closing. No sign. No door person to give heads up. No evidence the store exists. Finally got in due to random cleaning person to find that the store had "summer hours" and closed an hour early. Would have been lovely to find this out on the multiple contacts I attempted...

The best of the best customer service. If there's no parking you can just double park some where or park and let them know where you are they will bring your order downstairs. You can either order online or on the phone and they will bring you down anything you ordered as long as it's not to much. Great place.
A most glorious and fun little store full of super useful craft and costuming items. Any leather or fabric dye you could think of, concealing undergarments like strapless thong panties to wear with side less dresses Etc. Everything. If you have any interest in fashion or costuming, drop what you're doing and GO! Also, INCREDIBLY helpful sales people. Wish I could give them 8 stars

I went to a free demonstration they had on Worbla and similar products for making costumes. I really enjoyed learning about the material and it was presented very naturally by someone who had been working with the material for a long time. I took a quick walk around the store after the lecture and found a lot of great items for garment and costume construction. If you're looking for a central location to get your supplies this may be a good option.
