Mango Marley's Review

We visited 2 years ago & loved it BUT this time around the food was not good at all, got order wrong & very pricey! Leaving very disappointed..

My shrimp poboy was very good. But service was so bad. We had 8 people and no one got food at the same time. I will never go back

The food and service was poor. Waited near an hour to place two sweet teas then wait longer for our food. I came close getting up to leave. When I finally got my wife's and I food it was ice cold. I asked why is our food cold the waitress said they were under staffed. Not a very good answer if you ask me. Then the manager said they would take off the food on our bill. Come back looked at the bill they took off $15 of a $60 bill. I said no I'm still not going to pay for something that I didn't eat. It's a shame that a customer has to take charge that management couldn't do. I done the right thing by paying what we did eat or drink. The rest was on Mango Marley management to do the right thing. But it's a shame we went to toucans much better food and service nice and hot. The server got a $15 tip for the best service of the night. Thank you toucans on 8/23/2018

So I found this local gem while searching for a family friendly restaurant on Google. At first was little weary because of recent reviews, but not at all displeased. Ordered the Island Chicken Sandwhich and omg it was delicious. A little tangy with a bite, but so worth it. Yum. Will be coming back to try the Tango Mango wings!!

Food was delicious! I had a grilled shrimp basket with fries, wanted slaw also but they were out. Everyone in our group liked the food and the service was good. Only dislike I had was the noise the live band was putting out. I have no problem with a live band and in fact was looking forward to eating there and enjoying the band. The building is pretty small with low ceilings and the live band had their speakers up high. Our table couldn't communicate with each other during supper and the kids held their ears most of the time. Besides that it was a great.

It's hard to review Marley's because they are still serving out of a food truck at this time. The menu is limited right now, but the food was good and the service was great. The young lady who took our orders was super sweet and had a wonderful attitude. Please stop by and support Marley's and Mexico Beach.

The waitress was entirely too loud, and didn't come around nearly enough. When they brought the food out, mine wasn't done, I don't eat half cooked hamburgers. Will never eat there again.

Came here with a big family group. Honestly, the service and food were very average compared to other establishments we visited in Mexico Beach. Keep in mind 3* does not mean 'bad', just 'ok'. Thats a fair assessment for our experience here. Probably would not return only because we would like to try other places.

Food is GREAT but it's also pricey. I can understand about the seafood but the burgers and BBQ was too.

It was great! Wonderful service and large portions. We've been before and will be back.

Great chicken wings. ..about 20 different sauses. We like Mango Tango! the house favorite. Just the right bite. Great servers.
Timely service and food. Their appetizers are good....the thin chips with cheese etc and them are great. Havent tried anything else yet! Oh yes....live music and large TVs. We enjoy our time there.

Good service. Very delicious food. The drinks are awesome. Nice barternders and servers. I recommend trying the watermelon margarita. It was amazing.

Overall the visit wasn't bad and wasn't very memorable either. I ordered the philly cheesesteak which was ok. My wife ordered the blackened mahi mahi which she said was good, but the portion was small. My biggest complaint about the restaurant was the flys that kept trying to land on our food. It was not fun shewing flys away while eating. As far as the service, the waiter was very nice and it only took 12 minutes to get our food. I read other reviews of it taking forever to receive the order. Maybe it was faster because it was lunchtime. The meal for 2 at lunchtime was $30.00. Hope my review was helpful.

Great place to stop and eat from Mango Food Trailer. Their fish tacos are delicious. The Kahuna Berger is great with grilled pineapple on it. They have a tent with fans or outdoor picnic tables to eat there. Fronts Highway 98 in Mexico Beach. Definitely worth checking out.

Best BBQ sandwich I've ever had! My wife had the Kahuna Burger which was amazing as well. Super friendly staff and laid back atmosphere.

Staff is rude and doesn't care about customer service. Wait time for food was way longer than it should have been because they decided to serve 2 large tables first that came in after us. Food was ok for what it was but is over priced for what you get! $85 for 2 sandwiches and 2 fried platters. Maybe this is good for high schoolers...not families.

Didnt enjoy the food and the atmosphere wasnt friendly .wanted to buy t-shirt and they didnt have any sizes except 2x .

The two young ladies were so incredibly friendly and their service was amazing!! We were only in town for a couple of days and ate there twice!!

We would recommend this restaurant. We thought this restaurant was overall really good. The bathrooms were clean and the food was great. We had the fried scallops basket and the kahuna burger. Food prices were what you would expect. They seemed to have a larger beer selection with local beers as well. The kahuna burger was great and the red beans and rice side is probably the best thing I've eaten so far on this vacation. The staff was also very nice. Everytime someone walked by they asked how we were doing and we never had an empty glass.

The Mango margarita was great and I had the Island Chicken sandwich which had the best jerk sauce on it that I have ever had! Would definitely go back.

This place sucks, nuff said. If you have a problem the "manager" Jessicant will call the cops if you complain. This town has 2 other restaurants... go there.

Place looks cool, food was average... Nothing worth making a special trip for. We were drawn in for the "floribian" cuisine. We were a little saddened to find out that the food here was very over priced and had the least amount of flavor of everywhere we have eaten so far. Not to mention my daughter's kids meal had more shrimp than my $16 platter... Staff was nice but when I asked for a to-go drink I was given a smaller cup than the one that came with the kids meals. Feels like you're paying for the environment and thats about it. Prices are similar to others in the area, but portion sizes are definitely better elsewhere. Seemed like a nice place if you just wanted to have a drink, otherwise save your money.

So far I've eaten the mango salad and their burger and fries on two separate visits both were excellent.

Good bar food. Small arcade game area for kids. Friendly service. Multiple Tv's with sporting events on.

We visited this restaurant on Monday 7/24/17. I was very disappointed, & so was the rest of my family. The salad had a strange flavor???? I think some kind of herbal seasoning on it. My husband and I ordered wings, they were greasy and flavorless. Grand-daughter ordered shrimp basket, which was over cooked and over priced. Her bf ordered chicken strips which was also overcooked. The best thing we ate was the appetizer, fried mushrooms. The server was friendly and very good at his job but the food left little to be desired. They charge like fine dining and the food is worse than fast food. We will never go there again!

The food and service was excellent. Our drink glasses were filled as soon as they were half empty.

I had a yummy appetizer of chips and Blue Cheese with green onions with a Bloody Mary. It was so good! Never had a bad meal here. They had a live band going on and enjoyed the music!

I live in the Tampa area and have been through Mexico beach before, nice community and still not to big. I hope you guys get back up and running and are able keep your business going. I went through Irma last year and had some tough times but nothing compared to how rough it is there now. I am praying for you guys and wish you all the best. To the gentelmans comment below, I feel bad for you as I am from up north and wouldnt change my florida lifestyle and you probably have never have gotten the ability to enjoy what our great state has to offer . Yes we rebuild, because we love it here as so many others come to visit and see all the wonderful things our state has to offer. Be safe and god bless

We ordered takeaway but stayed inside for a drink while our food was being prepared. I had a watermelon margarita and it was delicious!!! We had that and a bottle beer and the price was just right too! The food was great! I had coconut shrimp with seasonal veg and the veg was delicious and cooked just right. The coconut shrimp were some of the best I've ever had! We will definitely be coming back the next time we stay here!!

On 8/10/18, the AC was not working and inside the restaurant it was hotter than it was outside. They had live music and it was turned up much to loud, and the singer need to drop the harmonica, and the bass drum machine...oh and he needs to learn another tempo. Every song was done with the same syncopation. One family got up and left and went to the place next door for dinner after the music started. I felt sorry for the waiting staff, there was clearly not enough for a Friday night, and those who were there were doing the best that they could. The food was good a bit over priced but not as bad as some other places in the area.

Fish tacos were great. Prices were scary at first but the money goes to quality ingredients. Well worth it.

This place is cool! Neat-looking interior with license-plate menus and great food. We ate here two nights in a row and had no complaints! The mushroom-Swiss cheese burger was excellent, and I loved the coleslaw and tater tots. It s so nice to choose tater tots or fries because I love tots! The fried mushrooms as an appetizer were excellent. Very good service too! I highly recommend Mango Marley s!!

One of a few spots open in Mexico Beach. Everything was good, nothing special.

Actually really enjoyed the food. Sat outside with our dog. Blackened snapper was amazing. Good sides: fried plantains, black beans. Will cook up your catch if you're a fisher

A local favorite. Good live entertainment. Average prices for the area. Kid friendly.

5 stars for Rockin Randal entertainment and 2 stars for all food except the burgers which are big and juicy and cooked to 4 star perfection. As a local, I hope Mangos reopens soon.
