My partner and I just recently moved here to Milwa...

My partner and I just recently moved here to Milwaukee in the Portrait apartments. Every step from browsing to finally moving all our items here was so immensely supported by this company. Our leasing agent Anthony Fluder was exceptional and really made us feel at home from our first visit on the property. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the grounds as well as orchestrating all the paperwork and explaining it to us in such a clear way. He went above and beyond in supporting us in so many ways. We look forward to living here in this wonderful community. Thank you!

Anytime there's an issue there is ZERO communicati...

Anytime there's an issue there is ZERO communication between management and the tenants. For a "luxury" apartment community where we pay over $2000/month for rent and have had no hot water for 2 days, I'd expect management to at least send an email explaining the situation or keep us updated. PS- we checked with WE energies and there is no power outage in our area...

An employee of the complex who we have never seen ...

An employee of the complex who we have never seen before, was texting and driving so my husband preceded to go around him since he was practically in idle. My husband was on his motorcycle which has a loud exhaust so the guy assumed my husband was speeding due to the loud noise, but he was not. My husband did not return home for another 15-20 minutes later. The guy was circling the complex looking/waiting for my husband to return. While myself and my 3 young children were all outside, he pulled up right in front of my husband (not in a parking spot) and proceeded to aggressively kick his car door out and approached my husband yelling at him saying that there is a speed limit in the complex. My husband then began to tell him that there are no speed limit signs posted which there is not and the guy then said it was in violation of our lease to speed and he was going to let his boss know. My husband then said he would let his boss know that he was texting and driving. The guy left and 2 hours later we received notice to vacate in 30 days or they would file for an eviction. Nothing in our lease talks about speeding and there is no speed limit signs posted, plus my husband was never speeding in the first place. So the complex said it was due to violence/threatening an employee. I was outside during this whole process and the only person who came off threatening was the employee. He never stated he was an employee, his job title, his name, nothing. He came purely to harass my husband all in front of my 3 young children, scaring them. They gave us 30 days to vacate, which left that date 5 days before Christmas. We wanted our kids to have a good Christmas not be stuck moving and unpacking, so we decided to move before the end of November with the help of my sisters. Without their help I don t know what we would have done because we did not have the financial means to do so especially with my daughters birthday in December and plus the holiday with 3 young children. Now the complex is wanting us to pay for December s rent when we weren t there even one day nor did we break the lease. This has nothing to do with non payment we have always paid our rent and never had any issues!

I have a multiple huge issues with one of the prop...

I have a multiple huge issues with one of the properties that the Mandel Group manages. My wife and I are VERY unhappy with the apartment home that we moved into and it seems that the property manager doesn't care at all. That being said, I voiced my concerns with Kelly who assume is a supervisor for some of their properties and she was AWESOME!!! She made me feel like my concerns were heard and were going to make a difference. We are very impressed by her professionalism and concern for our well being. Hopefully my property manager can learn a thing or two.

Mandel Group is the most fair and efficient property management group in Milwaukee. After having issues they went above and beyond to reconcile with me and even helped to place me in a different building. Based on my experience I could not recommend a PM group higher than Mandel!

We have been tenants at one of the Mandel properti...

We have been tenants at one of the Mandel properties for 4 years now. Over the years we have had a variety of outcomes when we would bring issues to management. Ravinia has an assistant manager, Sam who lacks professionalism.
When you address an issue that is potentially putting Ravinia at risk, she becomes rude. There has been a variety of issues from loud obnoxious party s at the pool, to young children jumping the fence to swim who are not with adults and are not tenants at Ravinia, to illegal drug activity. When issues are brought to Sam s attention, she lacks the proper response such as let s get this taken care off, etc
Her response is you can call corporate if you want too if you think that will solve the issue . Her demeanor is rude and defensive rather than taking ownership of the issues at hand. Her attitude is not one that should be representing Ravinia and Mandel Properties. When you pay the amount of rent that we do for the type of place we have, you should expect and see things taken care of. You should expect a safe living environment. Sam is in the wrong line of work and definitely needs to focus on her customer service skills.

Beth, who is the manager, is great to work with and we will no longer deal with anyone other than Beth. The maintenance men are also great and work so hard to keep the grounds and property s looking so nice and it s a shame that not all employees at that location really share in that goal. To provide excellent customer service.

We will not be renewing for another lease term with Ravinia due to Sam and her nasty attitude with us. And issues not being resolved that affect our safety. My money is good anywhere. She s young and she will learn eventually...

It is now September and not a thing has changed

The staff behind Mandel Group is the absolute best that you will see in the industry. Their commitment to their residences is exceptional beyond belief and we are happy and honored to be living in such a great environment. Thank you Mandel!

The office team of the property is amazing!! Super helpful and they are always looking for ways to enhance the people who live on the properties lives. I dont know about the other locations but the Eagan team is always on top of their duties and always have a smile on their faces. Im glad i live here.

The structure is...Well, if they could keep up on it, it would be good. Its fine though I guess.
The staff are disrespectful and obviously hate their job. The main office person never answers the phone. Ever. I couldn't get maintenance to come over for 2 and 1/2 weeks at one point, because of that.
I finally moved out, when I heard what happened to a neighbor of mine. This complex broke 2 different laws, and decided to kick my neighbor and their family out in the cold. Along with one other couple and a woman two buildings away from me.
Do not live here, the owners are just money-hungry.

I live in a Mandel Group property and have had an extremely negative experience. I reached out to The Mandel Group with hopes that the issues I have been having could be professionally resolved. I have not heard back from them, which has been my experience with all staff in my complex as well. I have no control over my own home and have dealt with pest infestations, leaks, and mold. I have recieved little to no help from staff. It takes weeks to get issues resolved IF they offer help at all (I had to fix my bug problem myself and am still dealing with mold. I should mention that the complex charges for pest control). When maintenence does come by, they do not leave any professional indication that they have been there or of what they did. I only know because furniture is moved and/or lights are on.

Do not choose to live in a Mandel Group property if you wish to feel comfortable and happy in your own home.
