Six-star superior hotel with great bar and restaurant

The hardware has nothing to say, the reception staff at the counter has a good attitude, and the roadside traffic management personnel are a bit of a force.

Goulash soup and coffee weren't bad. Bluetooth service caller is an interesting concept but failed to work. Table service quality and attitude were very sub par.

For a place to charge this much with a pompous attitude, everything should be bloody well perfect !

The place is wide, clean, quiet, delicious and affordable.

As usual, the Bencotto breakfast is great. I hope that in room dining can resume normal supply as soon as possible. This time, the 1022 room is adjacent to the staff room and the soundproofing is not very good. The only flaw is!

The best hotel service we have experienced. Professional, prompt, and pleasant -- at check in, breakfast, pool and spa, etc. Amenities for our young daughter were excellent and already arranged in the room before we arrived. My wife absolutely loved her spa day, too. Stayed here on one leg of our journey, and we were happy to stay again on the return leg. I would consider this hotel first next time we travel to Taipei.

An elegant new hotel in the heart of the city. Only 5 minutes taxis ride from Song Shan International Airport. Connected to a beautiful shopping mall. Unfortunately the mall is quite empty and does not had much to see.

I stayed for 3 nights and the staff are friendly and the Chinese restaurant is nice and the swimming pool is very nice.
The room was big and tidy and the bathroom was separated from the shower booth and bath tub.

A little unfortunate is the location is away from the 101 building and 7-8 minutes away from the subway. The taxi is not expensive.

The Mandarin CAFE restaurant is quite gorgeous. It is worth visiting in Taipei, but there is no particularly surprising place in the middle of the meal.

Excellent facility vs Poor service
I like the newly renovated room and its interior but I am very disappointed with the hotel staff's service level which I have never experienced in Mandarin Oriental Hotels in other locations. I felt I did not get a very basic and simple service that I can get in normal 5-star hotels.

This is one of the most satisfying hotels of all time.
Not surprisingly, the service, of course, never said NO to customer needs.
Comfortable enough to stay outside for 3 nights and not to go out, the room is particularly pleasant and the view is great. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was bad during the stay, so I just took a picture and returned home.
If you come to Taiwan, you will stay here for one night.

Upscale restaurant, met many international travelers

It was very brilliant from the entrance, perfect from the hallway to the room.
The room also has a high ceiling and looks spacious. The linen service was also meticulous and impressed.
Whether or not to have a breakfast buffet, I think it is better to personally. Everything is very delicious. There are few Taiwanese dishes, but there are various types in Japanese and Western. The drinks are excellent. Watermelon and orange juice are of course straight. In particular, I thought that orange juice was the most delicious orange juice (straight) that I had ever eaten.
Other facilities have a gym and a pool. The gym seems to be open 24 hours a day and the pool can be entered early in the morning.

I heard that Mandarin Oriental was re-providing housing services in early December. My husband and I made a reservation right away, wanting to take a good look at Mandarin Oriental's high-quality services. It is a pity that during this stay, there seems to be a huge gap with the previous standard.
When we arrived by taxi, the door was empty. In confusion, we pushed our luggage and opened the door and walked to the front desk to check in silently.
When we were going for a stroll the next day, we walked through the reception hall to the door. As usual, there were always enthusiastic service staff who immediately greeted and asked if we needed to call a taxi, but this time we were like ghosts, and walked silently to the deserted place again. The door, called uber for myself...

And now because there is no room service service, it is impossible to deliver food directly from the restaurant to the room (the Accord dim sum is placed in a take-out bowl, and the deliciousness drops instantly. Bencotto meals are not suitable for being placed in a box), and even an ice is required The barrels were almost in difficulty (fortunately they were delivered in the end, and the staff felt they were all incapable of doing it)
Ask the management team to think carefully. If you want to re-operate the house, please fill in the staff and provide services worthy of the signature Mandarin Oriental.
Otherwise, just don't do it, just let the goodness of Mandarin Oriental stay in our memory.

The parking lot is spacious and bright, and the ballroom is textured. The planned use of the basement space is not enough.
