Great for a sunset drink. Fantastic scenery and decor, good cocktails.

I like it here, it was once the royal palace of Thailand; I was surprised to see the fragrant flowers in the room; cards! Located next to the Mekong River, there is a shuttle boat to the nearby mall! I really want to stay inside! The attitude of the hotel staff is very kind! Great.

The atmosphere of the Thai restaurant is just tastefully exotic across the Chao Phraya River. The food is also delicious.

A five star heritage hotel in this side of Asia, a hotel with 100 years of history and rightly located on bank of river and many restaurants in one hotel, a beautiful coffee shop a rooms over 500, shopping arcade and great banquets to enjoy large and respectful function. A place to be there and enjoy the the heritage at it's best.

Service is really good, people are so kind and I feel that everywhere there is no place for people to reach. It is clean, has lots of things to see, and the food is delicious too. You can also enjoy interesting events.

I went for lunch. The club sand is generous. The French fries were delicious. The dessert is also very satisfying with its refined taste. Bread was provided, but it was abundant and delicious. I was able to get it next to the afternoon tea venue during the renovation, so I felt good. On the way back, we returned to Saphan Thaksin Station by a special ship, but received a cold original drinking water bottle. I was very satisfied.

Simple the one of the best hotel in the world. The service and attention to detail status at the entrance. The beautiful flowers and aromas welcome the guest at the door. The spa is heavenly. The restaurants are good but after on tea at the author s lounge is legendary.

A true gem and a fantastic experience in every little detail. Their bamboo bar has great world class cocktails and great live jazz on the weekends. I will always come here when visiting Bangkok.

Definition of lap of luxury .Had a fabulous BMW limo pick up.Check in was smooth and everyone was so warm and friendly.
A riverside restaurant has breakfast buffet,ala carte for lunch and a buffet again for dinner..The dinner buffet on our first night was a bit disappointing as it featured more Spanish dishes than Asian or Thai,which I expected.
Their other Thai restaurant is great as well.Good food and warm service.Concierge is up-to-date with local happenings and is friendly as expected.
Had a river facing room with an Nespresso machine,which came in handy when chilling and soaking in the view.
Will be definitely back!

Not impressed as much as I was hoping. Maybe because I am a Thai, and therefore the staff's treatment was underpar. Sure, it's a 5-star hotel. but it does not live up to the old reputation. Sadly.

If you want to enjoy elegant afternoon tea, this should be the first choice. After taking the Oriental Mandarin classic boat from Sathorn Pier, the waiter immediately delivered cool mineral water. During the meal, you can feel the exquisite and thoughtful service. Of course, both the meals and desserts are delicious, and the coffee is also strong. drink. Unfortunately, ICONSIAM does not seem to have a direct boat (I only saw the boat at the Peninsula Hotel after waiting 30 minutes), otherwise I can go to the department store in the morning and take a boat to Oriental Mandarin directly in the afternoon.

Speaking of Bangkok, Mandarin. It's great in every respect, but the breakfast is particularly impressive. An amazing variety and quality breakfast can be enjoyed slowly with a view of Chao Phraya.
The atmosphere is good, so I think it will be a good memorial just to visit High Tea.

Pure luxury. Among many things, the hotel prepared a breakfast box for me because I didn't have time for breakfast before my very early flight. My room was spacious, super quiet and relaxing.

Grand old dame hotel with traditional Thai interiors. Luxurious and well looked after. A lot of history in this hotel. Service is good and attentive.

In regards to the riverside terrace restaurant, this place really looks the part. If you want something that is going to make an evening really special than this is the place, just as long as you are willing to pay for it. The service was super attentive and food came out in a very ordered and consistent manner. The food tasted good and I left happy and satisified. However, considering in Bangkok it is not hard to get food of similar quality to what I had, but at a fraction of the price, the price could be slightly lower. Once you add wine, starters or desserts that price climbs quickly. That being said, great place for something special.

The place where I stayed before moving in Bangkok. An old institution, the charm of the old Bangkok with all modern facilities, most amazing service I saw in Thailand for staying here. I still enjoy often having a brunch or a drink on the river side.

Mandarin Oriental is very nice, the ballroom is cool for wedding banquets. Be aware to wear formal suits and clothes if attending one.

I went to eat only breakfast. I had plenty of rose jam and got yogurt. The best!

Sadly, my favorite global hotel has lost some of its attention from year to year. However, after shopping at the Robinson Department Store, afternoon tea on the riverside verandah is always worth a visit.
