The Grand Hyatt is an amazing hotel. The conference area is very nice and the pools are amazing. I come here every year and I will keep coming back.

great hot spot for cocktails and apps after a busy day at Comic Con (at the convention center)
Great hotel. Positioned perfectly for CCon. Super clean. Roof top movies are amazing and the staff is very accommodating. Good distance for all eateries.
Amazing stay! Our views were amazing! It s the perfect place to really relax after an eventful day in San Diego. There is some room for improvement from the air conditioners and the bathroom cleanliness, but s it s not that bad. The mirror in the bathroom is perfect for doing your makeup. The below pictures are from a bay view room.
Classy hotel with a fabulous skybar. Two good bars on groundfloor which offers nice food and drinks.
Good beersupply!!
Clear layout out once you are inside but hard to get into
Stayed in King sized Bay view room and it was worth it!
World class...beyond ordinary imagination, unbelievably priced!!!
Clean rooms, good facilities. But the waits for elevators are very long. Not enough for all the guests. House keeping needs work, they did not clean my room until I called. Had a broken hair dryer which took them 30 minutes to replace. Subpar service for an expensive stay.
Did not stay there, looked around. Nice restaurants, pool
Great facility, views were spectacular, rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Beautiful hotel with excellent service and in a prime location. You can't really get much better.
Delightfully appointed rooms and conference areas. Catered F&B services were nicer than expected.
I stayed for 2 nights in July. I can not say enough good things about the hotel. Views are fantastic, rooms are clean and up-to-date. But the staff are their hidden jewel. So many others at my conference were also commenting on the customer service. I was always greeted with a smile and never felt as if I was "bugging" them. All were complete professionals!
Beautiful hotel. Great location. Rooms are nice but too much energy saving florescent crap. Takes away from the classy feel. Gives a cold, sterile feel. Beers way too over priced in the lounges. You pay extra for every little thing, even water in the rooms.
Nice hotel. Rooms can feel kinda humid. Beautiful views.
Very good venue for any seminar or symposium irrespective of size of participants
Very beautiful and close to everything walking. Perfect venue for conferences. I asked to leave a letter as an anniveraary gift, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make the anniversary extraorsinary. They even gave us a bottle of champaign on the house!
Wonderful service, absolutely gorgeous hotel, amazing pools and right by all the restaurants and shopping
Great experience, great views. Steps from Seaport Village and the Gaslamp District.
It's nice, but I can not understand the operation of hair dryers, they do not replace shampoo and balm as needed and there is nothing edible inside the room, in case you get hungry at 3 am (with 5 hrs of mud, in Chile is 8 o'clock in the morning, after breakfast time)
Great view from the bar, but expensive drinks/food. Service is good.
Great hotel. Food at the restaurant could be better.
Great, beautiful place but at the moment is under remodeling and is noisy and not everything is up to.standards but it will be temporarily ....
Have stayed here many times. The hotel is well located in a beautiful and energetic area. Hotel is always clean and the staff very accommodating and friendly. Parking is not the best but manageable. The whole area is impacted for parking so if you are driving, be prepared. The light rail trolley is just outside the hotel.
Location is fantastic, right next to the San Diego Bay and convention center. Staff were accommodating of room preferences and happy to answer a slew of questions. Plenty of activities to do both within and behind the hotel. The hotel elevators are fast and the room was clean. In summary, highly recommended for professional events and visits to downtown San Diego.
the points generated by the hotel stay can be sent to the Aeromexico Premier Club or to some other account
Don't try renting a car from the hertz at this hotel. You will think you have a reservation until you go pick up your car and find that hertz does not have cars.
How can a car rental company run out of cars? We were told they would have no cars. For over 1 week. Don't let this happen to you.
Great start to our vacation.
The USS Boxer Holiday Party was a very elegant and well coordinated event! I wish I had purchased a room to further enjoy the Hyatt hospitality.
The view of the bay was great, and the room was very comfortable.
This place is fantastic! The word 'Grand' most certainly applies and the people, from the front desk to the restaurants, have been excellent. There's a reason I try to stay at places like this when I have my wife with me on business trips - it's so impressive. Our room on the 30th floor has a gorgeous view of the bay.
This hotel is grand, elegant, and colossal! Everyone who works here seems to love it, because they are so helpful. Try the bar in the lobby! Can't wait to stay here as a resident.
I visited the Manchester Grand Hyatt for a two-day industry conference. Beautiful venue, and the staff kept it clean and in great shape. Would attend an event there again!
Great people, great room, great value. My one night stay was too short to enjoy the many amenities available.
Really gorgeous Hyatt hotel with beautiful ocean and city views.
Top of the Hyatt has some wonderful views but the restraint needs major work customer service wise. I suggest skipping a meal and drinks there and just checking out the view.
The room was bigger than I anticipated and had gorgeous views of the city, ocean and Coronado bridge. Coffee maker was available with a small assortment of coffee and teas.
The lobby is really grand. We were impressed upon arrival with the entrance alone. Staff is friendly and helpful.
We had some issues on this trip with service and the Top of the Hyatt, but the gentleman who assisted us went above and beyond to fix our issues. Very pleased with this stay and we will be returning in the future.
I know covid and Valentine's weekend but you figured they would have more staff checking in people, line was very long. We finally get to the front and our reservation was a room with bay view but they wanted to give me a standard room. Told them that I requested a room with bay view and they found one so kudos to them. The one problem was that when we got to the room it was right in the middle of being cleaned so another 10 minutes wasted. Finally got in the room and it did have a great view of the bay but room seemed a little out dated. Great area very close to seaport village and within walking distance to the gas lamp so it was a great night with my wife of 30 years. I guess the final straw was the next morning getting ready to leave went to take a shower and no hot water, cold showers are not fun on a cold morning. Question is, would I go back again? No not for $250 a night unless they make some changes. There is a nice hotel next to this one so probably will go to that one next time.
One of the best hotel experiences that I have ever had!
One of our favorite hotels anywhere. We always look forward to a return visit to the Manchester. Great staff, great location, incredible views.
Very elegant
Many meeting rooms
A little confusing to get to everyone
Elegant place
Beautiful views of the bay and Coronado with its bridge
Amazing hotel with great views from seemingly any room. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, rooms night be a little small with more than two people but beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space otherwise. My only complaints is that there is a resort fee and parking is insanely expensive for very tight spaces.
Next to the seaport village, this place is fantastic it offers good views
Great hotel with all amenities and historic to the place too. Very near to the market and tge pier.
We visited one of our favorite Breakfast buffets in San Diego at the Seaview restaurant in the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. They have everything you could want for breakfast! Omelette station, pastries, bacon, eggs, cured meats, cheeses, fresh honey of the comb, smoked salmon, and tons of delicious desserts! We go here for special occasions. Also they have an amazing Thanksgiving Dinner as well. I highly recommend the Seaview Breakfast buffet! As a bonus, Darryl Strawberry was sitting next to us on this visit! He was very nice and offered to let us take a picture with him. Very cool!
Perfect location. Beautiful view over the bay. San Diego is expensive
Gorgeous, spend the extra and stay on the grand lounge level
The room is very nice and the staff is great. They are very accommodating.
Fantastic service, great view, and within walking distance to the gaslamp district.
Large and spacious bathrooms. Lounge is large as well.
The hotel has 2 towers that look different from each other. The place provides much privacy although it seems like you can easily get inside and check things out for yourself. I like its tall, spacious lobby, which distinguishes it from most other hotels here. The room we've had was on a high floor, and I could see the waters from the window. You can open partly one of windows, probably to let fresh air in.
Super high end hotel located in downtown SD .. don't forget to check out the views and good times at "Top of the Hyatt" bar n lounge.
I joined my husband on a trip to San Diego for a conference and they were put us in this hotel. Had I paid for this with our own money I would have left immediately. The rooms are tiny and dated. The bathtub grout was astonishingly filthy. There is no on-site guest laundry. The prices weren't just high (which is to be expected in San Diego and hotels like this) they were downright ridiculous. $4 for a small bottle of milk.
Our very first experience was walking out of their restaurant because no one would wait on us. Instead, they looked straight at our table and then resumed watching TV.
When we got our room we immediately had to call maintenance because our shades wouldn't open. The pillows were terrible and the towels were so rough they rubbed my husband's face raw.
We travel often and function just as well in a Super 8; however, expectations for a property like this are much much higher and the Hyatt failed to meet those expectations.
Attended the rooftop cinema showing of Dirty Dancing. They offer student discount and unlimited popcorn deal. Tickets are pricey and so are the food and snacks but it was worth it. They offer 5 hour parking validation so you can park here for the movie for free. Just remember to get a validation before you leave. Bring a blanket! It is cold and windy after movie starts. No blankets provided unless you buy the premium seats. Long line for snacks and drinks. There is an intermission to allow for a bathroom/smoke break. Fun experience. Go early and have a drink at the Top of the Hyatt bar (40th floor) and catch an awesome sunset. Cinema is in the 4th floor right next to the tennis courts.
I'm giving it a neutral rating cause the snacks weren't worth what we paid. But the movie experience is totally worth visiting again
Great views and ocean adjacent with great accommodations and amenities. Came here for a conference and had a great time. would stay here again.
Wonderful place to stay! Great staff! Lots. to do. Thank you.
We had a great stay! As Comic-Con volunteer staff, we didn't have any time to use any of the amenities, but it was wonderful to come back to the room after a hard day of working to a nice bathtub & bed! The view from our windows were epic!
The room was nice. The bed and pillow were comfortable. Though I was surprised that they would charge $3 for a bottle of water
Visited for a large conference. It's conveniently located, well layed-out, and clean. One end of the main ballroom smelled kind of like sewage though.
I mean the view is spectacular. Lots to do in the area. The bikes and scooter rental is plentiful. I am a local. And my friend visited and stayed here. Her room was nice but small. But perfected located with easy parking. Especially if you have guests coming. I was validated. Many local areas will validate parking for there. Lots of cool touristy things to do in area. Good choice.
Absolutely wonderful. We had room with amazing view. The best breakfast ever at lyle's cafe. great kids activities. One evening they had a movie by the pool. Highly recommended. Even though it would cost almost twice that for a basic hotel..its worth every penny
Beautiful hotel. Great location. Fantastic and helpful staff. Best hotel I've ever stayed at.
Go to the Hyatt and treat yourself right. I've taken many customers from and to the Hyatt on my bike taxi. We love the Hyatt.
Stayed two nights for work. The room was nice with a great view.
Everything was great, only complaint was how expensive the drinks were.. dnt know if that's normal or they hiked up the prices for our ball
Difficult to locate where I was going within the hotel, but it was beautiful!
Stayed at the Hyatt for a quick girls get away. Loved the room and the view was spectacular. Hotel prides itself on being very quite and peaceful which it was. The downside to me was the parking and checking in. At check in I felt as though I was at the curb side airport checking in. The parking is very expensive and they cram you in like sardines. Other than that you can really feel that you've had a get away!
