Manchester Grand Hyatt Review

Beautifuly refreshed hotel on the water. I love the new modern decor they've done. The old decor was seriously in need of some help. The new look definitely fits right in with the modern style that is downtown San Diego

Long lines in check in process. Room not ready on time. Slow and full elevators. Nice quiet rooms.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. In the heart of San Diego with easy access to wherever you want to go in town. The views are phenomenal and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff go out of their way to help.

Hyatt is an amazing hotel with amazing views of the bay and downtown from every level. Great stairway as well! Amazing helpful staff and beautiful architecture.

Cleanliness of bathrooms is a major issue. After repeated compliants to management over a several day stay, finally just gave up attempting to resolve the mold in our shower. Definitely a subpar experience for a Hyatt property and extremely disappointing for the price point.

It's a lovely hotel with a grand lobby, a great bar and amazing views of the city. The rooms are very nice and reasonably priced. Our room was very spacious, clean and modern.

We stayed at this hotel for a conference. The staff was excellent from start to finish, polite, helpful, and they go above and beyond. The hotel is beautifully architectured, and Seaport Village is just steps from its rear entrance. The hotel, and it's rooms are extremely clean. The backdrop for our room was overlooking Seaport Village, and Coronado Bridge. I highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed. :)

Extremely nice hotel. Stayed here for work and attended a conference at the hotel. They had the nicest workout facility I've used at a hotel before. Heated pool and spa outaide. Various restaurants indoors and lots of selections nearby. Conveniently located to everything.

I ve visited San Diego 3 times and have stayed at this hotel 3 times. Great customer service. Clean lobby, not cluttered. Good amenities, especially if you re willing to upgrade to club level for a bit more. The front desk staff are incredibly courteous and help with any questions you can throw at them.

Room wasnt spotless when we got in, other than that convenient location. Elevators should be updated with the external keypads, they take way too long

There are two entrances to the hotel. The address Google maps navigates to is not the main entrance-- something to be wary of when visiting the hotel for the first time.

The Manchester Grand Hyatt is a huge venue. It would be easy to get lost but there are many signs to keep that from happening. The decor is beautiful and the staff are helpful. I did not stay overnight nor did I eat here. I did attend an event and overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

Very friendly and clean hotel with a good view, can watch the sunrise or sunset, the traffic is convenient, walking or electric bicycle scooter is available everywhere, it is very easy to go to the back bay park

Tennis court, basketball court, and and volleyball court on the roof, large event rooms, nice dining and bar.

Great Location if you plan to visit downtown San Diego.

I was quite pleased with the hotel A spectacular location in the downtown area. It is massive without a doubt. Clean and comfortable rooms. On the marina with good views throughout. It has nice restaurants and the open shopping area out the back. Only negative was you can get some traffic and train noise depending on which location you have. Don't for get Kansas City BBQ is across the street which is the location for the bar scene in Top Gun!

Hotel was beautiful cleaning staff outstanding. Ridiculous that you had to pay for internet in the lobby to use the computer. Ridiculous that you had to pay significantly to do any printing. Considering the location they should also have water available

This place is great. We had a nice King corner room, so we had views of the bay, the Coronado Bay Bridge and even downtown San Diego. The price, for this type of room, seemed about right. The staff was very friendly, and goes out of their way to make you feel important.

If luxury is what you're after, then I highly recommend this place.

The grand Hyatt is a great hotel. It lives up to the "grand" portion of its name once you walk into the lobby. Humongous ceilings and beautiful touches to the lobby make it a royal place.

The room is nice, but a bit on the smaller side. Views are amazing throughout as we were on the 12th floor. Service was good. Nice basketball and tennis courts. And of course, location is second to none, close to everything

Overall a great place to stay if you can afford it.

The staff is friendly and the room environment is comfortable overall.

One my favorite hyatt hotels to stay in while visiting San Diego! It never fails to impress me with the modern rooms and such an awesome view of the bay or city. The front desk staff are always very professional and friendly. They take the time of day to make sure you have a smooth check inn process and answer any questions you may have.

Pretty good. Has a real conference-hotel feel, and the Sea View dining room doesn't offer an actual sea view, but other than that, pretty good.

I know covid and Valentine's weekend but you figured they would have more staff checking in people, line was very long. We finally get to the front and our reservation was a room with bay view but they wanted to give me a standard room. Told them that I requested a room with bay view and they found one so kudos to them. The one problem was that when we got to the room it was right in the middle of being cleaned so another 10 minutes wasted. Finally got in the room and it did have a great view of the bay but room seemed a little out dated. Great area very close to seaport village and within walking distance to the gas lamp so it was a great night with my wife of 30 years. I guess the final straw was the next morning getting ready to leave went to take a shower and no hot water, cold showers are not fun on a cold morning. Question is, would I go back again? No not for $250 a night unless they make some changes. There is a nice hotel next to this one so probably will go to that one next time.

Love this hotel! Family trip to the zoo and stayed here. Staff was friendly. Great view from our room, very clean and comfortable room, great location walking distance to Seaport Village. They have everything you need on site, market with snacks, lattes, sandwiches, and s mores kits to use with the outdoor fire pits. My daughter caught a cold and I was able to get medicine from the shops there on site. Definitely one of my fav hotels now in SD

Excellent hotel, located in the bayfront of San Diego, close to convention center, and gaslamp gastronomic district, easy to walk or public transportation to most of the attractions of the center of SD.
Price, not cheap for its location, parking very expensive, very good clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent staff attention.

Rooftop bar is misleading. Its completely enclosed in glass walls. Can't complain about the view.
Drinks are ok for the price. My martini didn't come with vermouth and when I inquired i was told that they dont use vermouth as part of martini recipie.
But overall we had a good time

This was very nice facility. Everything was well marked. The food was good and there were many stations to get drinks.

Very nice and elegant hotel near the bay. The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and the service is impeccable. Food was a set meal, nicely presented, and delicious. The palms are a visual delight. During our stay, we enjoyed a night of swimming. The staff members are also commendable for their courteousness. It's highly recommended!

We go for the view and everything else is good too. Be prepared to drop a few $$$!

I've tried many hotels in San Diego but this one by far is one of the nicest one of the cleanest hotels that I've ever stayed at in San Diego they were doing some Renovations recently and they said they were going to change the grand entrance which I think will change the feel of the hotel because the grand entrance that you walk into before was so nice it was one of the nicest,I don't know if them changing it is a really good idea but this place has amazing views.

An absolute must for any visit to San Diego. Top of The Hyatt is an incredible experience, plenty to see and do otherwise.

The service was quick and friendly and the hotel was kept very pristine. Staff is attentive without being overbearing.
