Their chicken is delicious. Definitely worth it. As a side the black beans are solid. Plenty of size options to match your needs. From quarter to a whole chicken.
The space is a bit old and worn out looking. Plenty of seating for the lunch (or dinner) rush. Service is quick even when it s busy. Overall a good spot.

The food is excellent, just the place needs up-keeping. The seats in the booths are ripped or really need to be refilled. Tables are sticky.

Super rotisserie chicken and sides. Staff is awesome

Nothing fancy, and a relatively limited menu, but extremely good at what they specialize in. The chicken is always perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection and the sides are solid. Also a great value, particularly if you get the whole chicken. You can easily feed a family of four with it.

Hi good evening I would like to know if someone else gets allergies reaction to eat this chicken this Saturday 05/ 18/ 2019 I eat this chicken 10 minutes later I get skin itching on all my body so I take 2 Benadryl and stop ,so I tried with 2 more pieces of this chicken was left ,, to find out if was the chicken and again 10 minutes later same reaction bad really bad skin allergies ,so I tried to find out if was just me or happen to some body also , thanks ,,, please keep in mind this is not bad rrev just try to find out if was just my body reaction or if that day food was contaminated

A no frills place where you can get very tasty rotisserie style chicken with choice of sides.

One of my favorite places to eat in Raleigh! I recommend getting a whole chicken, yukka fries and beans & rice. That is my go to meal.

Lots of food for the money. The chicken is very flavorful! Kids of different sides and different ways to get the chicken. Fast service although really crowded for lunch. Don't let that stop you though!

Jerk Chicken, Cole slaw, plantains and the yucca fries was all very good. I may have overspent, but it was worth it.

Ordered 1/4 chicken dark meat. Received 1/4 chicken white meat that had been cooked well past the completely dried out stage. I ate it without complaining but will not return.

Simple and easy to go place! Rottiserrie chicken is the best. Casual and busy place.

Quick, delicious, chicken rotisseried over charcoal. Cooked perfectly,comes out in about five minutes. A real find. I'll be back.

Love their Pollo Saltado and a bit of a larger portion than their competitor Alpaca.

Downside is that Mami sells out of her special early in the day, but can't blame them for having dedicated costumers!

Nothing special here...plain white rice dry as a bone chicken ...if it weren't for the cilantro dressing I would say this visit was an epic fail.

I got food poisoning from this place, decided to give it another chance because it might have been just me, (i was pregnant at the time) but when I went the second time my whole family had food poisoning! Never again this place looks and smells gunky! The sauce is watery and very spicy which means they just keep adding and adding to the existing sauce or they don't replace it regularly, bathrooms are old-looking, the carpets not clean. Also one of the male cashiers was giving us dirty looks and being rude to a customer who was on a wheelchair. They have TVs all around but they don't want you asking to change the channel?! AVOID! It might taste good but you will be feeling awful!

Food is great, chicken is always cooked well. Pretty clean, not the cleanest but it gets the job done

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Great food and service. You can always tell a good restaurant by the number of cars in the parking lot, and they are always busy. I've been in Raleigh since 1984, and I've seen a lot of restaurants come and go in that exact spot. Mami Noras I hope will be there for a long time.

I love love love this food. My daughters and I eat there a good amount. After eating and and tipping on my dinner (which they don't actually wait on you), I asked for 1 sauce Togo. She said it was $1.08. I didn't have cash on me and she would not accept less than $5 on my debit card. I asked for a Togo box and put some extra sauce in it. I would have gladly paid if I had cash or they would have used my card. When I called to talk to the manager and tell her the employees should be allowed to use good judgement and let a customer who had paid and tipped be allowed 1 sauce she was rude. Food is excellent. But don't go out of your way to tip or be a decent person. You will not receive it back unfortunately. I have had great service in the past so I hate that only a couple of employees can ruin an experience.

Wow. I really enjoyed my first Sunday after noon meal with friends here. I got the quarter chicken dish with fries and a salad. The smoked chicken had a light flavoring of salt and pepper = delish! The prices are super reasonable and I thought the portions were big. Everyone in my group raved about their meals except for one person who bought a steak dish. They said their steak was a little tough for their liking. The place was packed but not over crowded. The music had a Latino/Pop flare but didn't drown out conversations. I'm definitely returning!

Chicken and rice are always good here. Can't wait for the Glenwood/Pleasant Valley location to open.

Best quick, inexpensive takeout in Raleigh: get a whole roasted chicken with two pint sized sides for $16.00! They have great lunch specials and a pleasant dining area as well. All the locals love Mami Nora's!

Chicken and plantains- so tasty! Make sure you grab some of the sauces near the soda machine. They make the chicken even tastier.

I will never never never ever ,eat there ,it was. My first time going there ,as soon as I got to the counter ,the kid and other two other young ladies in ther were rude ,they don t any customer skills at all. Plus everything so expensive $2 for 3 tortillas I was I like what I m the. World and the only thing they in there was chicken rice and beans ,that was my first and my last time that I visited that discusting place. Don t eat there ,don t do it .

Excellent chicken for an incredibly low price. There's a reason the line is so long around lunch time.

A couple of weeks ago I ordered 2 chickens and sides through eatstreet. Same issue as someone else posted, both chickens were undercooked. Returned it the next day for the manager to tell me that out of 4 breasts I only had one chicken that was undercooked. As if I would lie, but more importantly one chicken only consist of 2 breasts...so obviously it was both chickens! The manager refused to give me a refund, said I had to go through eatstreet to get my $30+ back. Eatstreet was more than understanding and professional. All they serve is chicken...how is it not perfected?! No excuse for this! Won't be returning!

The chicken is consistently delicious and the yellow sauce goes well with it. If you are sensitive to salt you may want to avoid the pollo saltado.

The chicken wasn't dry! I got a quarter white (breast and leg) and it was filling and delicious. Also opted for the beans and rice for a side.

Great chicken and the rice was awesome, prices weren't bad at all for the fresh and large amount of food you get. Definitely recommend, and would come back. Plus clean restaurant and bathrooms tells me they work hard to keep this place clean.

Amazing authentic flavor, value is incredible and with the platter that we get we always leave feeling full. The Arroz Chaufa was a pleasant surprise but let's sit for a moment and talk about that green sauce.My third Peruvian chicken in the Raleigh area and this one was just as good as the others. A quarter chicken with white meat, served with cole slaw and a salad, it was moist and juicy and very delicious
