Cool ski area and modern cable car - okay, at the top there was still a lift - but okay so;). In case of large crowds, however, it is totally overwhelmed and / or overloaded, which then entails long waiting times. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Customer friendliness is a foreign word. Never again, I recommend the Saaser Bahnen, because you are still valued as a customer!
The train is completely normal. Nothing special. No defects. All good.

Unfortunately my son was ill on the first day. I wanted to exchange the previously released 6-day ticket into a 5-day ticket. Apparently this is not possible. Had the feeling with a little will this would have been possible. In addition, not all slopes were open although enough snow was available. Ski school and ski instructor were top.
We were allowed to spend our ski holidays on Belalp in the best weather from 17.02.19 to 23.02.19.
Thank you for the daily (nocturnal) super piste preparation.
The show, which takes place annually on one evening, is stunning and impressive. We were lucky that this event took place in our week.

Unfortunately bad service despite the full price; most interesting slopes above and next to the Sparrhorn chairlift not prepared, although the weather is optimal and at least one meter! It is not evident to the guest that the management is willing to offer the guest the best possible offer. A shame, a shame ... Please go to school for a week on the Sella-Ronda in South Tyrol. This is how skiing works today!
Unfortunately not very customer friendly. Not all slopes are open despite the best conditions and the full price is still charged. It is planned to cease operations at the end of March 2019. This is not how you deal with loyal customers who rely on vacation!
This is a cable car that runs from Blatten to Belalp. Travel time from 7.30 to 16.45 in 30 min. Clock.
Super friendly sports rental store at bottom. Can rent Via ferrata set.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is incorrect, as slopes are often not made overnight for inexplicable reasons. The slope workers usually don't know why themselves. The staff at the stations is not exactly friendly either.
Nevertheless, I can recommend a visit! and take a camera with you!
If you buy a ski card you have skis. Why are there no racks for the skies at the cash register?
It's a really nice ski resort. Price is ok. Cable car service is good. Enjoy the sunny days on the mountain.

Great ski area, varied slopes (especially tunnel slopes), great powder snow, fantastic panorama. Always my pleasure. Please make sure to keep the separated lane zones (separate queue per seat) at the lifts even after Corona! The queue is much quieter without the constant crowd.

Nice ski area, but at Christmas half (all "pickax" ski lifts) were closed. Why? So everyone gathered at the Sparrhorn chairlift. The "Covid Angels" were only present at the start of the cable cars and only on certain days at the chairlifts. The installations were stopped on departure and arrival if people were not wearing the mask. Yes, but a lot of people wore only scarves (non-conforming) and hardly took them off when the chairlift left. The chairlifts were "loaded" to full capacity and not 2/3. Ditto for the large gondola ... in short, not very Covid-compliant ....
The ski school has great ski instructors every year. I enjoy the lessons and can learn a lot.
My favorite ski area! Great lifts and lots of space away from the slopes. Only one thing is missing up to the 5 star rating: A snow park with a few kickers, here the Belalp does poorly. Please put more emphasis on it here. Otherwise great and friendly staff.
Older staff rather indifferent at times somewhat unfriendly. Young staff very friendly and courteous. Helpful.

Hello everybody, last week we had a wonderful ski trip with our ski group Lerner, who has been coming to Belalp for 26 years. The further development of the transport of the cable car, especially the possibility created since last year of the Secher cable car from Blatten makes skiing even easier and ensures unrestricted driving pleasure. The slopes were excellently prepared and the staff of the Belalpbahnen very friendly and competent. Keep it up, we'll be back.

I've been coming to the Belalp with 6 people for 35 years, 10 years old at retirement age, and now I realize that this season there is no senior citizen discount? We also come to Engelberg every year, despite the much bigger train offer, still senior discount.
