We had periodic quality issues with their bagged shavings but worked privately with them for resolution in respect of their business. Now today they put a derogatory quarter horse post on their public business site - what the heck? Why put up anything negative about any breed? We breed and sell quarter horses and paints - where s the respect for my business in your negative post? Even after CUSTOMERS started commenting on the inappropriate post they just responded with a weak generic justification - and in one response even said something about raising awareness of malpractice in the breed ... shame on you Mallard Creek!

I don't understand any company who think it's ok to poke fun at any clients. I am very AQHA proud and the post paints the breed in bad light, stirring hate among your business community. No apology issued just deleting the original post and customers comments. I hope the AQHA community (the largest breed community in America mind you) and other breed community's take note that this company stirs up hatred among its customers.

Their customer service is absolutely amazing. You can always talk to a very knowledgeable staff person. There landscaping materials are top notch and their variety of shavings give every horse owner plenty of quality options.

Switched from Mallard Creek Shavings because of poor quality, wet shavings, small, expensive bags. But over time have spent thousands buying their shavings. Sometimes I m required to purchase their product at horse shows. Well, no more, after it comes out in a FB post that they have little tolerance for the American Quarter Horse, or breeders of AQHA horses. They assume a broad generalization of all AQHA horses, and feel compelled to spread awareness of the culture of malpractice Quarter Horse Breeders are engaged in. I hope Quarter Horse owners understand that this type of opinion hurts the entire industry and affects what is truly a great breed. I won t endorse a business that is willing to put down the same horse owners/customers who provide for their livelihood.
