This event far exceded my expectations. A wet Sunday in August saw my son and I looking for something to do in the East Neuk.
Bowhouse was full of great things ..... local produce of every kind.... all types of food and drink as well as arts and crafts.
Really good live music and bars, street food etc .... a great atmosphere. The place was busy and buzzing!
I'll be sure to be there for the next one.... but will bring more money next time!

A typical Scottish food market, but under a roof which is under this latitude is a reasonable solution. In addition, to diversify the time, there are other attractions such as music or for children.

Bowhouse is an excellent place to come with your family. Great food, artisan stalls selling cheese, beer, brownies and more. Their is a rotation of stalls that means the experience doesn't get full after a couple visits. Personal recommendation is the fish and frites anstruther stall.

I am a regular visitor to Bowhouse. Enjoyed the aubergine and flatbread and my partner loved his pork belly wrap from the Middle Eastern Feast pop-up. Followed by an almond croissant and doughnut from Wild Hearth Bakery from Comrie. Will definitely be back next month.

Always a great day out at Bowhouse market, supporting small local businesses. Enjoy the lively atmosphere with good food, drink, arts and crafts and live music. Workshops sometimes scheduled are fun too. Participated in stained glass workshop last year.

Farmers' markets in the rain are no fun. Bowhouse have created a space to allow undercover markets to take place. The recent market had over 30 stalls food, coffee, wine, fresh produce a great morning out and all under one roof. They have a Facebook page to keep you updated. Well worth a visit.

We went to the market at half 3 and weren't sure if it would still be busy - it was and it was fab! Picked up lots of fresh local food - langoustines, bread and sweet treats! Wish we hadn't just had lunch as the street food looked good too. Also outside there was a dog creche, an enclosed outside space where you can tie up your dog to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while you go into the market. Very much recommend for lots of lovely local treats!

Nice it was indoors doesnt matter about the weather. A lot of stalls varying in products. Sausage roll stall was very busy offering around 16 diffetent kinds. Street market food area was good. We chose open fired pizza. So glad we did as it was delicious. Overall good experience. Sitting on hay bales was novel. Nice clean toilets. Only 1 bad point. Lady behind one of the chocolate stalls wouldnt refil her samples. She lost a few customers.

Good atmosphere with a variety of stalls selling artisan breads, olives, gin etc. Through the back there was some live music and a hog roast, pizza and toastie stalls to choose from. I had gin instead but the macaroni cheeses toastie (yes, I know) is apparently to die for. Have knocked a star off as we felt most things were overpriced which to be fair probably reflects the rent these guys have to pay to be there but it's definitely worth a visit.

I recommend a visit or three to Bowhouse market! The food stalls have the most amazing food and drink on sale. And the arts and craft stalls have so much lovely stuff it's difficult not to go mad and spend a fortune! A lot of very talented people display their goods there in arts, crafts, food and drink.
