Great selection of cakes, beers, wine , butcher etc Great afternoon
Fantastic local market packed with lots of local food, gifts and crafts
This event far exceded my expectations. A wet Sunday in August saw my son and I looking for something to do in the East Neuk.
Bowhouse was full of great things ..... local produce of every kind.... all types of food and drink as well as arts and crafts.
Really good live music and bars, street food etc .... a great atmosphere. The place was busy and buzzing!
I'll be sure to be there for the next one.... but will bring more money next time!
Had a fantastic visit to the Xmas food market today. Everything under one roof, and a brilliant variety of stalls!
Good venue for markets. Loads of vendors and food stalls
Great choice of supplier and very reasonable prices
What a fab place some unusual foods and beers , and loads of stalls well worth going
Good to get out again. We went along PM some stalls were sold out.
Excellent market with some great local small businesses, always great to come spend an afternoon here. Great live music and some food and drinks through the back as well
Excellent. This places brings lots of different companies under one roof selling very good high quality products. If your planning on buying something be prepared to spend quite a bit of money but you won't regret it!

Fantastic food, music, drinks and much, much more
Loads of stalls with food and drink. Play area for kids and lots of places to sit and eat or drink your purchases
Good market with wide variety of Scottish produce on display.
Stopped here for a coffe and cake during a nice cycle along the cost, best latte bt far, great service, amazing smell of the wood burning pizza. will defo pop back to try a pizza soon
A typical Scottish food market, but under a roof which is under this latitude is a reasonable solution. In addition, to diversify the time, there are other attractions such as music or for children.
Great food and drink stalls and equally good street food and music area - well worth a visit for any foodie!
Fab event - such variety of local options, to eat or take home, live music, talks and kids activities. We loved it.
Bowhouse is an excellent place to come with your family. Great food, artisan stalls selling cheese, beer, brownies and more. Their is a rotation of stalls that means the experience doesn't get full after a couple visits. Personal recommendation is the fish and frites anstruther stall.
I am a regular visitor to Bowhouse. Enjoyed the aubergine and flatbread and my partner loved his pork belly wrap from the Middle Eastern Feast pop-up. Followed by an almond croissant and doughnut from Wild Hearth Bakery from Comrie. Will definitely be back next month.
Another good day at Bowhouse. Great selection of foodstuff on sale plus an increasing amount of craft stalls.
Great place. Was delighted with my shopping there. Managed to get smoked salmon from Bute which was absolutely beautiful
Great event, food lovers dream and stunning craftwork
Always a great day out at Bowhouse market, supporting small local businesses. Enjoy the lively atmosphere with good food, drink, arts and crafts and live music. Workshops sometimes scheduled are fun too. Participated in stained glass workshop last year.
Recent discovery but will now be a regular visit for us. Every month there are different suppliers so you don't get bored. Kids loved the live music.
Farmers' markets in the rain are no fun. Bowhouse have created a space to allow undercover markets to take place. The recent market had over 30 stalls food, coffee, wine, fresh produce a great morning out and all under one roof. They have a Facebook page to keep you updated. Well worth a visit.
Some great produce on sale, some very unique stalls.
Great venue, lots of great local foods, crafts. Parking was also easy to navigate in and out of venue! Great time, will certainly come back next time, was worth the travel from Arbroath for sure
Good place - vegetables and other commodities excellent.
Great selection of Artisan foods. Easy parking and facilities
Good food, loads of artisan traders, easy to get to and free parking
Tasty slice of locally (and regionally) produced food, crafts, coffee, ales and other enticements. Seafood was especially good and loved the live music, on site vinyl outlet and microbrew. Come early and stay till the end !
A fabulous market with local producers of top quality food, drink and flowers in a stunning location.
We went to the market at half 3 and weren't sure if it would still be busy - it was and it was fab! Picked up lots of fresh local food - langoustines, bread and sweet treats! Wish we hadn't just had lunch as the street food looked good too. Also outside there was a dog creche, an enclosed outside space where you can tie up your dog to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while you go into the market. Very much recommend for lots of lovely local treats!
Always a great day with a good selection of stalls, live music and a friendly atmosphere.
Brilliantly decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree. This market was really busy.
Nice it was indoors doesnt matter about the weather. A lot of stalls varying in products. Sausage roll stall was very busy offering around 16 diffetent kinds. Street market food area was good. We chose open fired pizza. So glad we did as it was delicious. Overall good experience. Sitting on hay bales was novel. Nice clean toilets. Only 1 bad point. Lady behind one of the chocolate stalls wouldnt refil her samples. She lost a few customers.
Enjoyed our day, was great getting to taste locally produced food and drink. A great day out. Looking forward to the next one. X
A great day out for food lovers. Lots of delicious things to try and buy.
Great place for a visit and to sample local produce.
Good atmosphere with a variety of stalls selling artisan breads, olives, gin etc. Through the back there was some live music and a hog roast, pizza and toastie stalls to choose from. I had gin instead but the macaroni cheeses toastie (yes, I know) is apparently to die for. Have knocked a star off as we felt most things were overpriced which to be fair probably reflects the rent these guys have to pay to be there but it's definitely worth a visit.
Fantastic market selling small producers products ranging from food to coffee to arts and crafts. All under one roof with a separate eating area to enjoy a drink and listen to the music on offer. Well worth a visits and don't pass it by if in the north east of Fife
Glad it's back. Up to the usual high standard. Really missed this place
Very high quality foods and a great atmosphere. I hope it turns into a regular -say weekly- market
Great place to get local produce from local businesses.
I recommend a visit or three to Bowhouse market! The food stalls have the most amazing food and drink on sale. And the arts and craft stalls have so much lovely stuff it's difficult not to go mad and spend a fortune! A lot of very talented people display their goods there in arts, crafts, food and drink.
Very well organised
Great range of high grade food and drink
Will be back
Amazing place, well worth a visit, interesting local produce, great atmosphere, will certainly return.
Great produce on sale and well controlled entry to and from the venue
What a set up. Very well laid out farmers market and lovely cafe space upstairs.
A great experience, good food and drink. Excellent sounds and a good selection of craft stalls. The calves were gorgeous. Well worth a visit
Various food & drink items sold in rather charming rustic farm barn. Works for me, try the hog roast.
Good venue but sometimes could have more stalls and the street food / music area could be more enclosed at the end to cut down cold and wind entering
A great local market featuring artisan local produce and goods. Held indoors so no matter the weather go along. Well has stuff for the kids to do in a small area.
Good range of food and drinks as well as craft goods for all. Unusual gifts and a lot of producers provide samples.
Great selection of stalls and very nice environment. Would have benefited from more Coeliac-friendly tasters and food options.
First time visiting the bowhouse, wow amazing, ample free parking, so we'll organised and laid out. Lots of different stalls such a good variety. Hope to return again, will spend longer as I didn't manage round everything.
Sorry but I found the prices of some of the article's for sale on stalls was far to expense apart from that I think it can only get better really looking forward to the 10th and 11th of March keep it going.
Great day . Unfortunately only one problem or would have gave 5 stars. My mother is in a wheelchair and couldn't get into the street vendor area at back for something to eat. Although she sampled plenty things in main hall
It was a surprise finding this market, but I will be coming back. Its a welcoming place and family friendly. You must visit
Absolutely brilliant. Will be back again and again and again. Superb.
A fantastic indoor food market. Great for all the family.
Great if you want gin or over priced produce. Nice place to visit, wouldn't want to buy here
getting better each time noticed more traders from all around scotland as well as many from local areas with wide variety of goods on offer with plenty of free samples of foods that most people did not know existed in the area.great advert for Scottish products.
Plenty of exciting food today. Not so many stalls as usual. No craft stalls just food .
great variety of produce to a excellent stander live music and drinks what more can you ask for
Not cheap but quality goods. Social distancing spot on
