Makro Springfield Review

Queing systems are a bit confusing, i stood 2 long ques only to be told i was i wrong ques that dont take Makro Credit Card

Staff are fine in general, but the store feels chaotic and you often struggle to get assistance. Rude and pushy customers do not help the issue, often cutting in line. Avoid unless neccesary

Any other time i would give 4/5 stars. But with CoVid-19 therez always a queue and they quite strict about limiting the numbers onside the shop

They do not take care of staff , it should be closed and cleaned if staff have COVID and staff should not be at work but still get paid

Store is neater than expected but staff is arrogant, disrespectful, unfriendly and unhelpful.

Nice to shop at, but they should seriously get more parking.

Reduced items not priced cashiers are extremely slow.

There's everything you need to buy like food, appliiances, liquour etc

Nice shopping experience, wide range of products so you get everything in one store

Biggest store with everything you need inside never go wrong with them

Everything under one roof; great prices ample stock. I'm a regular shopper for lunch items to tech savy gizmos.

No stars ,every time I go there I end up unpacking all my goods then have run around an pack it all myself again. Absolutely nonsense wat about pregnant woman elderly an ppl like me with back issues ? Yes unpack ur trolly but attest have have packers to help .

Makro is a great shop especially because it has everything under one roof. However, the staff was really unfriendly. They don't care to greet and if you greet them the response shows disinterest. The lady at the fitting rooms was worse, she was even rude for no good reason and sounded irritated if you ask something from her. Even the cashier at liquor shop had a huge frown on her face.

What a huge Shop with almost everything one may need for his/her home need

Not a place you want to go to during the national lockdown. Long lines and frustrated sales people is what awaits you inside after you have to wait an hour, 30 minutes of you are lucky. I must admit that the fresh food section of makro is impressive considering they recently added the department. Definitely a 1 stop shop. To get the best out of Makro I suggest bulk buying to stock up every 6 months.

Wide Range ... decent prices ... in general a great place to shop ... only complaint is the lack of parking , they have a lot but there are always queues to get in and 15min driving around hoping for parking

I have visited this store several times.,and the following is consistent. Staff not present in the aisles.. If you locate 1 in another aisle they simply comment they don't know anything about the product from the aisle required. The best someone did was assist in telling me that someone would come to assist as he had paged for the person. Waited 20 minutes whilst trying to figure things out for myself on YouTube and Google... Best of all try finding a manager. No visibility of management. Same goes for staff supervision. Bottom line, they believe they doing me a favour... Ended up going to pick n pay... Far better in terms of service and product knowledge... I paid a few Rands extra but I am of the firm belief if I had to return for any issues I would be met with the same committed staff that are willing to help and serve their clients... Goodbye makro... See you in a few years, hopefully when you get you house sorted out... Thank you pick n pay.. My home looks better...

Getting a macro card takes so long to get even thou it's a pointless exercise if everyone can get one

I never understood why Makro needed you to prove who you are before taking your money.

A word of advice - DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM MAKRO ONLINE!.... I am waiting for for 2 and a half months for them to change a defective printer (which has still not been done)!
No1 is willing or able to help me- I have sent numerous emails, phonecalls and even going into the branch- they are completely incapable to sort it out or to even refund me my money!!
If you want to avoid frustration, u better pray you don't need their after sales service..... Cos IT IS PATHETIC!!

Best place to visit if you loking for a variety of products

Large variety of everything in bulks and singles is available here from every Dept. Month ends and black Friday's is the worse idea to visit the store but who can miss discounts? Wheelchair accessible, cards & cash accepted moslty don't forget to make a reward card instore for free to get points for each purchase. Best time to shop is morning's or during the week.

Better look & feel with changes made. Assistance not always available when needed in aisles

Bought a smoothie blender a week ago and threw away the box only to realise I don't need a smoothie maker. Went to return it at make and they refused,even though all parts and labels were intact.refusal to return my R800 just because I didn't have a R50 box. Total dissatisfaction with customer service

Why do you have to search my trolley after I paid for my goods. Once paid it's mine not yours. You have no right to touch my goods.

Nice to shop in but they need aircon i think would be wonderful

Traffic was an issue getting into this place waited almost 25 minutes to get a parking

Good place to go shopping for larger appliances as well as buying in bulk. They have a large verity of products for sale and the staff are fairly well informed when you do get hold of them. Parking erea is a problem though.

All round good shopping. Prices good, wide variety of goods

No assistance from floor staff. Got to go look for help. And if you do eventually get someone, they go find someone else to help.
