You can get absolutely anything your heart desires at Makro Springfield
Makro is a great shop especially because it has everything under one roof. However, the staff was really unfriendly. They don't care to greet and if you greet them the response shows disinterest. The lady at the fitting rooms was worse, she was even rude for no good reason and sounded irritated if you ask something from her. Even the cashier at liquor shop had a huge frown on her face.
I like the new store layout and the solar panels in the car park
Only 5 tills open and that before a public holiday, very bad
It's was Nonsense the staff couldn't assist me on a the lights.
I waited 35 minutes waiting for someone to assist while the other 2 standing opposite alie 10 were just gossiping.
Love Makro - can always find what you're looking go there !!
Good service although the store was busy the que moved
Cannot get through ,waited 5 min and ni one answered phone
Queing systems are a bit confusing, i stood 2 long ques only to be told i was i wrong ques that dont take Makro Credit Card
I very much impressed by the solar panels used as shelter for car parking its a very eco friendly innovative way of saving energy. I've never seen such innovation in any shopping centres or malls.
If you want bulk amount & discounts this is the place to go.All most evrything is there
Very busy place but I prefer the amanzimtoti branch because it's bigger and not so busy.
Very busy
But the line flows fast.... within 10 min ur out
You'll find everything you're looking for at Makro, with the exception of customer service . The staff could be more helpful and more knowledgeable about their products. While I appreciate Makro 'going green' and installing solar panels as car shades the thoroughfare including the entrances and exits have been poorly thought out and often results in backed up traffic.
Staff were helpful and all followed bew COVID 19 rules
It was too difficult to access the place. I had to drive around , stayed in very slow traffic just to be able to get into Makro parking which , to my surprise , was not full. The store itself was not full. What I realised is that the adjacent center caused the commotion because the entrance is on the same street as Makro. My advise is they both should open extra entrances in their opposite sides.
Bad parking facilities with small parking bays where your car is bound to get scratched
Came to collect an item purchased on black Friday, the waiting was quite unpleasant as it was long, otherwise I'm happy
Haven't been there for a long time.... beautiful change on car parking. ... displaying sollar panels like that and also generating natural electricity like that....." epic"
When they have a sale sometimes it's worth it. Has a wholesale shop they need to keep their prices affordable
Great experience - thought it was going to be manic but the police have sorted out a system with the entrance and exit so was painless
Most chaotic renovation ever. Careful forklift packers don't run you over.
Has everything you ever needed with value for money
Let's be honest, in Durban/Durban North, it's either this Makro or the one in Cornubia. The one I'm Cornubia seems less crowded I think because it's newer, but go to this one if it's more convenient for you
Staff not friendly. The outdoors guy was distracted and not assisting us fully. We had to keep on getting his attention.
Service, support and attempt to help you get what you are looking for was terrible.
Anything and everything you need under one roof at competitive prices. Not much to fault.
Very disappointing. The teller was unfriendly. Did not greet. Did not ask if I needed a packet. Did not thank me. Just a poor experience - and worse for the fact that I am a pensioner
Pricing is good.Parking is available on off peak times
Only went there for a window shopping... ended up spending all my savings on their great deals... worth it.
I noticed an "Online Orders Collection" area. Might be quicker to order online and collect if it's busy.
It s big. They have everything. The service is decent. Always clean. Best prices around.
Absolutely deplorable service with an incompent manager and staff that can barely read and write, prepare to wait over an hour and 30 mins for a simple return
Nice store ... getting in and out of parkinglot is troublesome
Bought an oven online, carefully removed the packaging, tried to install oven however didn't fit, put oven back in original packaging, returned it to Makro Springfield. Received credit minus R200 for the packaging, because packaging was broken! Really? How are you supposed to fit an oven with the packaging on! Ridiculous, won't be back.
Easy to find. Always popular. Good factory stores.but gets very busy over pay weekends
Good shopping experience, many things to choose from. Competitive prices with bulk buys
Huge improvement made lots of space, service is good
Staff are always welcoming and helpful.
Especially Sanjay in the camera department.
I ordered online to save time. I got to the store to collect but it took longer than if I had picked the items off the shelf and went to the cashier and paid for them. The ladies at the collection counter were helpful. Too much of paperwork needed to be done. Id rather buy through regular chanels in future.
I was buying bicycle for my son the guy who work in that department assisted me very well
There are staff in every department. Cashier's are prompt aswell.
Huge parking area. Friendly and helpful guards. Good store for bulk goods. Excellent value for money.
Definitely within the top 3 stores in Durban when it comes to bulk and variety.
Terrible,my new makro card is 2 months old and the magnet is not working
