A prestigious setting and very tasteful decoration. We go there of course for the setting but especially for the kitchen. Accustomed to star restaurants, I recommend it because you will be amazed by the creativity of their cuisine. Both classic dishes revisited but also new flavors and surprising and creative mixtures that are a delight.
The price is of course up to the gastronomy on offer but it is an opportunity not to be missed if you are in Valence.
It is expensive. But it's worth going, staying and eating.
The dishes were excellent but a shame everything was cold and as we were invited we did not dare ask that they be warmer

When I was young I often ate at Jacques Pic and it was always a great moment.
Since Anne Sophie took over, I had not had the opportunity to come back to it. But finally I was able to eat at Madame Pic!
What explosions of flavors, textures. Everything was perfect, thank you again to the team.
Don t understand why it s a 3 star restaurant, asked for fish but duck came up, didn t even get to choose the appetiser. Waiters never gave us different cups for wine.

Regarding the dishes nothing wrong! Everything was perfect. The dishes very good, the agreements more than surprising.
On the other hand it is the small details missed that made the difference: Mosquito tiger in the Zen garden, which earned me two disfigured legs
A waiter was wrong when we arrived and was going to give us an aperitif that was not ours.
Finally, the allergies of my spouse were not well taken care of (the dish ok, but the agreement with the wine made very late)

How not to put 5 stars to a 3 star? The reception is at first very friendly and attentive. We then go to the lush gardens, unsuspected and so relaxing. The aperitif is served in this green setting where you think you are alone in the world, out of time. The meal will be in the big room of the restaurant where the decor, very traditional makes the moment very solemn. The meal was a pleasure of every moment, a total delight, as much in the tastes as in the textures and the visual. A magical moment, at the height of the reputation of the house. Just perfect !

I liked the place for the pomp that revolves around a restaurant 3 stars, but I put a flat for tasted flavors which in my opinion are much too sought after and pushed and the taste of the basic noble product is flouted .. .. this engages only my own experience.
