We were lucky to come one day when there was a free tasting by 20 winemakers ....

Very disappointing because even during a weekend of 3 days, they do not open between noon and two o'clock and more they cancel outings for which everything had been settled in advance without warning. There is a lot of work going on and a reorganization to be done to be operational. Too bad because the area and very beautiful and the return to Bordeaux by my way of the castles is a delight.

We came with friends (two couples) this Sunday, March 13 in Pauillac, and as a large whiteboard marked "open at 14h 'with the proposed program for the day we heard .... but the person from the office of Tourism that presented itself to us as director, told us "I will not open for 4 pleupleu" ..... In fact it seemed to make a festive meal on the ground floor of the tourist office, then take care of 4 tourism ........ without comment

Very good as a tourist office. The tourist shop side interests me a lot less.

This tourist office is good. Apart from the traditional information concerning the activities in which one can participate in the region, one has the opportunity to chat with a good wine connoisseur. So we get interesting advice. We also have the opportunity to have fun recognizing the different smells of wines by means of artificial fragrances.



In comparison, Saint-Emilion, has a very neat appearance. The authorities of Pauillac should be inspired by it.
