I love this little sushi place.

I love this little sushi place.
The food is always delicious and well presented. They do take away and delivery.
Staff is nice.
The only pity is the dimension of the place, which during weekend, requires always a booking!
If you are in the area, is a must.
One of the favourite Japanese in London!

Staff unfriendly and hardely spoke English. The service was very bad. The quality of the food has gone down. I informed the owner and he did not care. I had to wait 50 min for takeway.
Truly appauling experience.

We got lucky and we found a table without having a booking. Been told this place is always fully booked.
It's lovely and cosy restaurant. The service was excellent, prices affordable. I eat a lot and for 15 quid I was pretty full. First time here but I would definitely recommend the Rainbow Roll.
The restaurant has nice decorations and the ladies toilet has a disco ball which I found super cool. A great experience overall. Didn't take any photos, I was too hungry

Staff are beyond useless, Had to remind them not about one or two but THREE things we had ordered! (There were only two of us) we waited over an hour and then watched my meal being microwaved!?!?! I m not usually one to moan but this took the p**s consider it was so expensive. Staff are rude and I m expecting it to be closed this time next year.

Tremendous sushi and sashimi. Duck roll, prawn tempura, Rainbow and California roll were spectacular, teriyaki chicken and beef yaki were fine, everything well presented and flavoursome. Nice woody ambience in repurposed pub. Excellent service. Would definitely go again or order takeaway.

The menu was varied and interesting. The food was some of the best Japanese I've had in the city. The gyoza was great as a starter, as was the Yakitori. The Gyu niku bbq was tasty, if a little dry. The service was good, but the place is very small and the gap between chairs meant people were constantly squeezing by. The clientele appear well heeled.

Although the food was very good, I wouldn't eat there again. This is because they have foie gras on the menu, and I refuse to eat anywhere that sells it.

Distinctly average Japanese restaurant, food not great, and service is below average, no smile on arriving and no thank you after paying. Our maki rolls were OK, but the seafood yaki soba was more akin to a sweet'n'sour sauce, with uninspired seafood and a river of grease in the noodles, tasting very bad indeed. We left almost all of it uneaten, yet the waitress didn't even ask if we had enjoyed it or not. Some people might find this acceptable, but if you want good Japanese food, this is not the place to go. Wont be coming back.

Hey! I've ordered takeaway for lunch and dinner several times and each time the food and service was consistently excellent.

I tend to order the chirashi don just due to ease for lunch. Everything I've tried has been really fresh, conveniently packaged with fresh wasabi (not packets, thank goodness!) and the staff have always been really friendly.
Highly recommend!

Disappointed. We are big on Japanese and we heard good things on this one, but despite us going back twice to give it a chance it didn t deliver. Too salty, overcooked, not great fish.. it s an average.

This is a great local sushi place where I discovered a real passion for Japanese food. I was a complete novice to sushi, apart from the occasional visit to a conveyor belt chain, before discovering this place and now I love it and can't get enough.

The place itself is a little crammed and can seem a little claustrophobic, but I actually quite like the wooden decor which adds to the authentic atmosphere and although the staff are mainly Asian with limited English I've never had any issues obtaining what I wanted from the menu.

Sushi & Sashimi is what everyone flocks here for, but there is also a selection of other seafood , meat or noodle dishes to choose from and it's all very tasty. No wonder the place is constantly full and brimming with locals. It's almost impossible to get a walk in table so I recommend you reserve a table especially on busy nights.

PS The only photo I seem to be able to find of this place is the one I posted. It was during a quick lunch time stop and I somehow managed to eat most of the Sashimi & seaweed salad before I remembered to take a photo. It really doesn't do this place justice and I will try to upload some more photos of this place if I can remember to take them on time.
