Not a great place to work. 6 days a week, forced 10-12 hour days, no sick time. If you have a family or a life this place isn't for you. If you want a Saturday good luck. No AC and hardly any heat in winter.
The only good thing about this job is the money. They let me go because I wasn't going fast enough. It was my 4th day at a new job they put me in. Boss lied when I asked why I was being let go. Worse company I ever worked for!
Im an Employee best place i have worked at since i have been working
Doc pick up is a joke! Some cool people there but mostly racist good ole boys there that will not properly train you. You automatically should know how to do everything as a new employee. Pretty much a set up to fail, they go through many new employees due to this.
Good luck backing in the docks off the main road. You spend more time waiting on traffic then it does to get loaded, unless you get lucky and a train stops traffic! And the cars don't block you in. Staff was fast and friendly.
I'm in OTR trucker with a sleeper cab. Picked up a load here around 4pm. a lot of traffic on the road in front plus school buses with kids getting out and rush hour on top of that.
I did a blindside into the dock from the parking lot so I wouldn't have to go out into the road. I don't like blindsiding so I'm slow and careful. Took me about 15 minutes to get it into the indoor dock.....but I'd rather do that than risk going out onto the road and have someone run into me. Even the guys in the shop there feel it is unsafe.
I hope it wasn't intentional... The weight on my bill of lading doesn't match actual weight..... And not in a good way.

I was indeed over loaded. New inexperienced second shift forgot to add tare weight of totes. Turns out they put about 47,500 lb on me.
Also second shift is there until 10:00 pm.
They make you help four people with heavy metal bars and throw you out if your not fast enough if your a temp
