If you like solving puzzles and rifles this is really fun. It does require walking around a lot. The staff is helpful if you get stuck. Groups will make visits so it can get clogged up with people, but generally it is not too hard to get the quests done.

This was a great experience for the entire family. We went back the next day for another half hour as the questing was fun. It did get a bit crowded the second day, but that did not diminish from the experience.

We will definitely do this again on our next visit here.

My husband and I went for a date night and were unsure on whether or not we should do it since we kept seeing children piling in and then we said screw it.. and had a BLAST. They were doing renovations but we didnt even notice because we were having so much fun. The entire staff was super nice and helpful. We debated going back to finish some more quests because it was so much fun. If we lived closer we would definitely be back to finish everything.

The kids may not show the difference but we grown ups know. Super small in comparison to their other facilities around the country. You would never know that from the outside however. Quests are the same but if you are new to each different facility, you have to start at the beginning regardless of progress made at other facilities. They won't care about pimping out the other space in the building until we make them care.

We had a blast at MagiQuest. It was well worth the money. We spent several hours with the 4 attraction package. The tickets never expire.. We left, ate lunch, and returned later to finish everything. My kids LOVED it (5 and 3 years old). The adults had a great time too. We were very confused at first with how the game was played, but we caught on very fast. I highly recommend it.

I am not into the quest style of games or entertainment and my son has never heard of it but we loved this place. It was by far the best value of all the things we did while in the area. We left feeling as if we got everything we paid for. Staff if friendly and helpful. Will go back.

I'm going to give it a 5 star because my children loved it! I thought it was ok, but this place is geared towards children and it does keep them occupied with games, crazy mirrors, and more.

Was very fun and amusing we have been there about 5 times and we aare going there in a few weeks for my brother's birthday, they also include a mirror maze and a mini golf course.Really recommend.

Wow this was better than I expected because
1- The staff let us split up the $21.99 packages however we wanted. Most tourist attractions would never do that! We bought two bundles and split them between 4 of us. They basically gave us 8 tickets and said we could use them interchangeably for other things, e.g. instead of two of us doing the laser challenge, all 4 of us got to do the mirror maze. Saved us over $40! Kids played Magiquest while Mom and Dad played putt putt and we all 4 did the mirror maze. Total was $49 with tax and we were there around two hours.

2- My teens grew up playing Magiquest at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. This location had 3 realms and they could have played all day. They rushed to do as much in an hour as possible. The fact that a loaner wand is included is epic! Great Wolf made you buy one (another $15 at least!) Definitely well-designed technology for a great scavenger hunt. The only upside to Great Wolf is that the adventure lasts your whole two day stay until you complete your quest. This one is timed by the half hour so it is more of a time race.

3- The mirror maze is no joke - This 38 year old mama got separated from the pack and lost in the middle, going round and round and it was hilarious. I finally changed my strategy and found the fam. It was a good laugh and not for the claustrophobic! Great attraction, lots of fun.

4- Pirate Golf was old and a little run down but the black lights made it fun. Some similar technology to Magiquest upstairs was sprinkled around - 2 motion sensor screens with characters talking to you and a cool moving projected ship scene on one wall. The 18 holes had some fun challenges and it was like a cute little date my husband and I didn t expect.

All I all a good value considering you get all 4 attractions for $22 per person. We didn t try the laser challenge (they let us use the tickets for the maze.)
So glad we went. Saturdays are a bit busy.

Twenty dollars for four activities...not bad for a tourist town...and they give a military discount. My 20-year old son and I actually went here on a whim while driving by. We were actually looking for an arcade with other items. The black light glow golf (Pirate golf) was fun, as was the mirror maze. The remaining two attractions are more for much littler people, i.e. kids. Not to be deterred though a 49 year old man and his 20 year old son gave it a shot. OK...we are too big for the laser attraction. The laser room isn't quite dark or foggy enough to see the laser beams well. My son just got up and walked across all the laser beams towards the exit. On to the Magic Quest. Here you choose a wizard name for yourself and get a wand. After this, it is basically an item search between the three separate areas (woods, town, castle). You get a little booklet with clues to help out. Basically, you walk all over the place while flicking your magic wand at sensors. Once you have acquired the appropriate items, you can advance to the next stage. The highlight of my quest was a 7-year old kid walking up to a secret door (he had found the magic key) that I couldn't open and flicking his wand at it while stating to me "You're welcome!" What a nice little wizard.

I haven t been here since I was young, i realized the place has changed.. but not the fun. This is a place where even adults can show their inner child running around with magic wand while they complete different quest. Or if you have a child even better! This place will keep young ones entertained for hours, while also teaching important lessons such as teamwork and compassion. Even though this place is a little expensive it s worth it since your wand will remember what quests you have completed and what journeys you have yet to travel. Hands down one of the best places to go, highly recommended if your in the area.

I can't even truly explain how awesome of an experience this was. I had a blast and it was so fun! They made it easy for the audience to get involved without it being cheesy. It was incredible and I would absolutely come back when I'm in town again. The music was catchy and fun and the food was hot and delicious. Our server was top notch and brought refills without even being asked. Also the actors were sooo into the jobs! They looked liked they loved their role and really got into the show. That made it great!
Only recommendation to make it better was wait time in the lobby. It felt long and crowded because people wanted to be let into the main area to sit so they all packed in by the door.

If you like Harry Potter you'll love this place. You get a wand and go on quests to find runes to become master magi. Lots of walking and searching for items
Kind of like being in a video game.

My family always enjoys MagiQuest. I recommend getting there when they open if it is the weekend. It will get crowded fast. Also if you buy the combo passes, they will let you use any of the unused passes anytime in the future. They also allow you to use them for any of the attractions except MagiQuest. You must use MagiQuest passes for MagiQuest.

The staff is always helpful and friendly as well.

It may seem like a kids place, but this made a great date night! It was a bit pricey, but we only completed 2 of the 4 events inside, so we got a second date night out of it! Theres plenty of replay value because theres so much to do! We will definitely be back!

Glow in the dark mini golf, mirror maze, laser rooms and magic quest. Mini golf was well made and fun. It took awhile to complete with kids. Mirror maze was fun and more difficult than I expected, which just made it more fun. The laser room was just a small room with lasers from wall to wall that you have to crawl through or jump over. Done in about 30 seconds. The magic quest is fun, but some of the clues can be confusing and cause you to waste time and you only have about an hour to stay in the area before your wand shuts off. It's definitely something I would want to go back and complete each quest if I lived close by.

This place was an absolute blast for not only our kids but for us as well! The staff is super friendly and willing to give any advice or even help you through the quests! My kids earned 16 runes within 3 hours the most expensive part about it was; their own personal profile/wand! WE ALL LOVE THIS PLACE and cant wait to take another family vacation! Definitely a spot to visit & atleast try!!!

It was ok. Was very confusing at first, but it is basically a clue and then you go and try and find 5 items that match the clue ( like 5 chests with a paw print) but they are vague (like the paw print is on the inside of the chest so you have to look at each chest). It is not really clear what the goal is other than just completing the clues...we only made it thru about 5 of the clues and it is a lot of walking back and forth thru 3 large rooms pointing a wand at various items. My 6 yr old got bored with it before our time was up.

We definitely enjoyed the experience. Our kids are 11, 9, 6 and they all had an excellent time. They couldn't stop talking about it all evening. We recommend spending the little extra to purchase your own wands, otherwise you lose all of your work if you ever return, which we planned to do the next day. The only slight complaint is that it was a little small and became a bit crowded.

This is a great place to beat the heat. You can kill a couple hours here, no problem. It seems best suited for younger kids probably 12 and under for the magic part. Everything else is the same stuff you'll see up and down the strip. The staff are very friendly. Generally it was very clean. Everyone there seemed to be having a good time.

Not what I expected. Downstairs they had a mirror maze, laser field cross and put put. Upstairs is the quest. All costs separate. The magic quest part had missions and things to find you save your wand pointed at certain things and they lit up or moved but lot of people. everyone waa everywhere.
Kids running into my smaller ones hitting with wands. No rule that would remove them.

But my biggest concern is for some of the magic chests. They open on some hinge thing but they close and seal shut staying closed and do not have a feature to keep little hands and fingers from getting crushed. One closed with such force it would have broken my youngest child's finger of caught. Needs motion detector!!!
Overall costly dangerous and boring. You can only do downstairs activities one time unless pay for another ticket even after you purchase tickets for everything in magiquest. Should do those cheap activities unlimited imo

Cool little spot with many available payment options for your budget. Spent between $45-$50 for 2 hours of MagiQuest playtime for the 3 of us which was very reasonable. Definitely a must try for the kids
