I'm not a fan of their mashed potatoes. They tasted boiled and bland...

I tried going here about six times. I enjoyed once a dinner, but every other time at the bar or otherwise the menu had many features lacking. Service is rather slow, mostly attentive early, but when the games are playing it is hard to catch attention. The floors in the place are not clean, especially the bathrooms, however the decor and furniture are clean and attractive. The crowd who attend are not rude, and keep to themselves.

The food was really good, although the onion rings have more breading on them then onions. Be careful when you ask if you can have extra sauce for different things. They charge more for that without really telling you. I had the New York strip steak and it was excellent.

Good food, but annoying music that gets louder as the night goes on. It goes from being an Irish pub to being an adolescent party pick up place.

We ve eaten there before and really enjoyed it. Today not so much. Food was cold and corned beef was like trying to chew rubber. We told our waitress and all she said was, sorry . No one even tried to make amends for the poor food quality. We paid $45 for an inedible meal. Needless to say we will never return.

Maggie's is amazing. If you're visiting or new to the area, stop in to enjoy amazing food or night life.

Overall pretty good took longer than normal to get our drinks and didn't appear to be busy for a Thursday night? Maybe just short staffed on a really cold night. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was great!

Great prices. Good food. The air conditioner could not keep up on a particularly hot evening, so we didn't start as long as originally planned.

Classic Irish pub in heart of the campus town area. Love to grab drinks here and have for years whenever we're in the area. You can't go wrong here.

Peter is always an eloquent host and makes my friends and me feel at home.

If you are a person of color you will be ignored at this establishment. I sat at the bar with 2 other colleagues around 4pm and the bartender walked past us at least 5 times in 15 minutes. Saddening

The food was very good. The breaded sausage appetizers were great. The wait staff was friendly and fun.

Standard college bar. There is beer and music. That is about all you need.

Food is fantastic, would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner. Was never a huge fan of the crowd in there when I was in college, a little hipstery for me. Seems like the kind of place that plays Dropkick Murphys and Chelsea Dagger multiple times a day because they feel like they have to. Best long islands in Bloomington-Normal though hands down.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Fish is fantastic here and everything we've ordered has been wonderful. Service needs a little work to be a little less 50's diner 'waddaya want' sort of feel and a little more classy. It'd really add to this place. Drinks are VERY affordable.

Maggie's is my favorite Irish Pub. Authentic food and great beer selection. The atmosphere is perfect and the music is usually traditional. Always stop here when I am in town. I recommend the Beef Stew Boxty.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Sometimes it can be a little slow, but that is because they get busy...this is a good thing. Enjoy!

Super Irish pub. Very pleasant decor. Good food and staff.

This wasn t a great place. The service was fine but the food was cold and they brought me ice tea instead of hot tea. I ordered the bangers and mash. The mash was cold as was the gravy on top of it. The bangers were lukewarm. My husband had something with pancakes and that was also cold. My husband had such fond memories of this place from when he was in college at IWU but I don t think I ll just drive to Bloomington/Normal just to go here anytime soon.

Great atmosphere, great food, great wait staff!! Lizzie was one of the best waitresses I've ever had! Place was packed to the wall and service was still fast and friendly.

Whiskey Wednesday is my favorite here.
Also, tasty food to go along with their potent potables.

Most unfriendly place. Bartender only cares about one end of bar. Most disappointing.

The hostess Madison was polite and friendly an the food and drink was excellent.

Got a seat Sunday about 8pm immediately. The waitress was very nice took great care of us. Getting drink refills and our food took a while. They had onions and forgot the cheese in my girlfriends patty melt and she apologized and got it replaced and gave us a discount. I was done eating by the time the replacement arrived but my girlfriend loved it. We love that they have the green river soda and a genuine Irish pub in uptown.

Maggie Miley s was a great pub with really quite astounding food, definitely worth stopping for and the leftovers of my fish and chips lasted me for a few days, savoring every bite. The backstory behind the place was also very interesting, being a very uniquely built place

I want to give a big shout out to Lizzie who took care of us last night. We had a large party and she was super responsive and made for an awesome experience. Whiskey Wednesdays are a great deal!

The food was great and the staff was very attentive.

There is wonderful atmosphere and great food for fairly priced. I had the chicken tender club and Cajun fries. The chicken was sweet and balanced out the spicy of the fries very well. I plan on coming back here again

They had very nice whiskey and a very nice bartender. A fine spot to wait for your Amtrak connection.

I got the corned beef and cabbage. The food was not good. The corned beef was tough, the potatoes were really dry and bland. The cabbage was the only good thing on the plate and definitely needed salt. The other meals that came out were good so I was told. They do have a gluten sensitive menu.

Slipped. Food was not up to par. Missing parts of the meals we routinely order. Chef must be new.
