An amazing place to visit! You can really see 'the whole Netherlands' in one place. It's also easy to get to whether you have a car or not. Walk, enjoy the miniatures and bring your own food. Plenty of space to eat and sip.

With our daughter, 18 years, been to Madurodam. We enjoyed walking around here and seeing everything. Probably with smaller children (from 8 years old I guess) it is more impressive. I did see some fallen dolls, carts etc .. But they will put them up once in a while :-)

We had lunch at Taste of Holland and that was fine.

A great park where you can view the most beautiful buildings in the Netherlands in one walk. You start with the older buildings but also modern architecture is represented further on. Even the trees are completely to scale and the park makes a neat impression, but you can still see that certain things have been there longer.
What is to be appreciated is the new attractions along the edge of the park about Dutch history, really worth a visit. The introduction at the beginning of George Maduro is also very good and tastefully done. On the way there is plenty to do and do and this way it is prevented from becoming a static setup.
It is a very nice trip, only I found the parking costs too high.

For those who are not in the Netherlands for long, it is necessary to visit. You can quickly learn the history of the country and see all the famous places in one park. Also, an excellent opportunity to plunge into the childhood :) A lot of interactive, excellent workings out of the elements. When I visited, I got a lot of fun.

The ticket was bought double - to visit the park and the oceanarium. It turned out to be quite affordable.

The park seems to be not big, but very full of sights of the Netherlands and activities for children. Firstly, here you can see everything that is in the country and outline points for visiting. Secondly, there are a lot of interactive entertainments: children load container ships, and light at discos, and extinguish steamers from a fire, and draw bridges, and control car racers. You can also make yourself a Mars bar or order a boot - a symbol of the country. There are 2 more playgrounds with slides and sandboxes by age. Cafes, a gift shop and toilets are also available.
When staying at the Hague Hotel, ask for a 3 Euro discount card ticket. Parking paid 8.5 euros, unlimited time

My 2.5 year old nephews had a good time. The miniature cars and planes were especially popular. Nowadays Madurodam has a Miffy playground where the toddlers can play. For the adults there was also an Efteling-like attraction about New Amsterdam. In short, Madurodam is fun for the whole family.

Pretty fun to watch for a few hours. Definitely recommended for non-Dutch people to quickly get a complete picture of what the Netherlands has to offer. I found the actually useless extra queue for activating the card that you need at the listening posts to be bad. You could say this at the checkout. First wait a long time for an entrance ticket and then also the same row for the activation posts ??? Madness.

If you are a fan of miniature models of architecture and vehicles, then this IS the place to be.

Madurodam starts with a small AV showcasing the history of the place. Then comes the realistic models of airports, train stations, castles, fire brigades and literally everything you can imagine in this world.

They also have interactive games with the miniature models. Check the photos.

One of its kind miniature land in Den Haag, the capital of Netherlands. It showcases major city layouts and building all over Holland. Very nicely done and also maintained pretty well. There are also special visual treats which you don t miss regarding the history of Madurodam and historic events. Also worth visiting is the KLM flight simulator which is giving a experience of a flight travel with amazing visuals. A must visit if you are in Den Haag. Entry ticket is around 18 during COVID times you need to book in advance online !

Great for an hour or two at most. It is youth sentiment to go there, but once inside it remains youth sentiment. The park shows the cutery Netherlands of the past and how we would like to look at it; as a brave country that constructs dikes and is on the right side of history.

Purchased by mistake tickets with limited validity. They cannot and will not resolve at the cash register. After all, tickets are paid. Would have been more customer friendly if additional payments were allowed. Christmas feeling is very far away. Conclusion: 3 disappointed children.

Must have to visit if you're nearby and under top 10 spots to visit in the Netherlands. Obviously, it works great with the kids. But no matter what age you are, you'll find it amazing.

At the same time, I would say the park is a bit outdated and it has to be reboosted with more interactive features.

Nice place to get a quick impression of the important places in the Netherlands, also with some historic perspective. Don't forget to get a free 3D scan! You can order a figurine online later (not free, but impressive :) )

Nice park in recent years a lot with the times interactive with passes etc. That sends info and photos and videos (made by yourself) to your personal page.
I see the assessments in advance that the price is too high.
I personally think that is not so bad. If you Googled then you quickly get a 3 euro discount if you buy a ticket online at the Madurodam site. If you are a member of the ANWB, you even have a 6 euro discount on a ticket.
All in all, we had a great time with our 3 children aged 8/10/12 years.

A beautifully curated place with all the important buildings of Netherlands in 1:25 scale. Some are working models such as trains, bridges. A good cafe to grab lunch or a coffee. They have a 3D printing facility where you can get a miniature of your self. All in all a good place to be with family.

17.5 maybe bit expensive. However, this place offers you many things to see. From the gate, it is teasing you with the direction board where you may come. Then you will have visitor card which actually a sound card, you only need to tap it to the available screen inside. In the inside the park there ton of miniatures of various famous spot in Holland. It mostly made from ceramics and the details is great. Worth to visit..!!!

Its like Holland and toy story holland had a baby . Well sorry for the joke. It s exceptionally made. The details are remarkable. I loved the Schiphol airport in miniature style. One of the best things in the whole art is extensive and detailed representation of the train routes in holland. It s like a train game that never ends. The train moved across the whole miniature holland. In all it is a must to go!!

Crowded with rude people jumping in line for the limited activities. Not really worth the time. The 2 playgrounds were nice and the staff were great (although they didn't enforce the walking route nor the 1.5 meter regulations). The little inside shows were also well done. Be sure to bring coins to make a lot of the mechanics of the miniatures happen.
