Great activities for children from the age of four...

Great activities for children from the age of four. Not suitable for small children. Lots of steep slopes, bridges without railings. Very unsuitable for families with the little ones. Very dangerous. Little guy constantly wants to go everywhere. Slopes and dangerous points control most of the park. A four-year-old man is much more mobile and can go anywhere but keeps an eye out. So happened in the hustle and bustle. Be careful. Just run up to three years. TOTALLY inappropriate park, really bad. Great for buses with tourists and large cameras. Not for families with a very young child. Furthermore, beautiful and cared for. Been in for two and a half hours with 1 and four year old. And two parents. Only could not have been done by the MANY dangerous situations.

Nice park and very appealing to kids, at least my boys (2012, 2013) who can watch the trains for hours.
The park has worked well on the Covid measures: there are many announcements to draw attention, walking directions are indicated everywhere by means of hearts and check-in times via time slots. Unfortunately, the visitors are less docile. We went when it was busy because it was no longer nice. Tip: at the stairs (in the catering industry) the direction of walking could be better indicated, that is now a mess (partly because of the playground that follows and parents who, for that reason, have a different focus).

Really cool place. I wonder how many hours have been spent to recreate these landmarks to such detail. One knock, it was like torture for our kid to look at it all and not be able to play...there was a water area and football area but the park could use more stuff for kids to interact with...

One of the best places to visit around Hague! There is a lot of things to watch inside, even if you are an adult. There are many activities for kids as well as the ones adults can take part in. It will surely take 3
2-3 hours and more if you come with kids.
However, the miniature models didn't seem to be maintained well. There was a lot of mud and leaves on the water tanks. Some miniatures were damaged or misplaced. I hope they will fix them. And the price is a bit expensive.

Tip 1: The price for the ticket is 18.50, but you can get it for 17.50 from GetYourGuide app.

Tip 2: The food and drinks are expensive inside. Either bring your own or eat outside.

Tip 3: There are lockers at the reception, so you don't have to carry around your bags.

Madurodam is really fun, also a great place to get a "Godzilla" patyle photo of you and your friends. We didn't really know what to expect but so happy we went. All of the monuments and tourist attractions built as mini models.

Easy and safe parking next to the attraction for 8 euros per day. With the children you can take tram 9 from here to Scheveningen or take a nice walk through the park.
Madurodam remains a fun outing for children and unfortunately more and more tourists from all parts of the world. It is always busy, but the open design makes it easy to create your own route along all the fun and oh-so-famous Dutch spots. The park is beautiful, especially in the spring. All trees and other greenery look good. Toilets are top notch and there is quite a lot of supervision around that regularly cleans the walking paths because Indian people and Chinese are used to throwing all the leftovers on the ground.
Catering is excellent quality and affordable. You can also use your self-lubricated sandwiches and drinks on the terrace.
Tickets are cheaper to buy on the Madurodam website, because you do not pay any surcharge or costs. Take the e-ticket with you on your phone. A print is really not necessary.

All of Holland in miniature format to cross on small paths. Incredibly many loving details and entertaining animations (cars, trains, ships, ...) Of course, with a restaurant and children's playground. Ideal destination for children from 4 to 99.

This place is about one hour 10 mins away from Amsterdam central through public transport. One of the best miniature wonder lands in Netherlands, If you book ticket online you can save around 2 euros per ticket. Have been to this place 3 times and every time i go it's still an amazing experience. They have models of almost all the dutch cities and professions. The schiphol Airport, the moving trains, the canal boats everything is simply amazing. Here you not only see miniatures but also can interact with them at various spots. One of the best places to take you child to. There are two cafes as well where you can have lunch or snacks

Had a wonderful afternoon. Grandchildren (9, 7 and 5 years old) thought it was super. It was not too busy so that they could view everything perfectly. Sometimes wait a bit longer to be able to come in somewhere.

Wonderful to be back after so many years. Unfortunately, no attention is paid to the smokers who smoke everywhere.
"Restaurant" is, as in so many attractions, expensive, uncomfortable and not tasty.

Madurodam is awesome!! Highly recommended day trip when in Amsterdam.

Great for young children but also for adults. The models in this park have an amazing detail, and are sometimes accompanied by kiosk with audio commentary.

Highlights include the 3D scanner, interactive/moving models.

Fantastic place to go with or without children. It is a city made of the most important sites in the Netherlands. Upon entering they give you a map and a card, with this you can activate videos in different parts of the City, with subtitles in Spanish. The City consists of restaurants, a resource store, w.c and a children's area.

Been to Madurodam last weekend. A few things that I must mention: we had taken plenty of time because we also had a reservation at the omniverse. Because of this we have been in all "attractions". It was really great fun. Despite bad predictions, the weather was still a bit so, so the kids went to the playground. There are 2 of them. There is also a short film about Maduro at the beginning. Very interesting. Highly recommended though I find 18.50 quite pricey because parking is already 9 euros! The taste of holland restaurant was very neat. With the ANWB you get a discount on your tickets. It was a really nice experience. Very special how they got all those buildings so lifelike. They are true works of art, incredible. On the photo you don't even see that it is about miniature works. Very well done!

Very well done, miniature version of the Netherlands with a lot of the typically Dutch sights represented. Kids will love it, multiple playgrounds on site, lots of interactive things. Slightly overpriced though.
