Many people who do not keep the direction and do not keep their distance. Unfortunately also the staff.
Very unpleasant experience.

When they say they let in 1/3 of the normal number of visitors.
Perhaps they shouldn't all stuff them in at the same time.

My advice to people is not to go because unfortunately it is really not Corona safe !!

I got wayyyy more than I bargained for with this visit. I felt like a kid in a candy store. This place was the final stop on an all day tour that I had taken. I was exhausted, but it all went away when walked through this miniature park. No detail was left unturned. I can't stress enough how beautiful EVERY miniature building was. I'll attempt to include in this review a video I made of the miniature version of Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. And I still don't think it does this place any justice. The one reason that I didn't give this place 5 stars is because I was starving and their food selection was sparse. Even though it was late in the date, I think as long as their doors are open they should be about to accommodate the visitors.

A true cultural heritage in the Netherlands. A must see / visit for many tourists who are coming in massively. Retrieving old memories when I was only 8 years old and Madurodam already existed, but now as a parent with my 5-year-old daughter to Madurodam. Providing nice, mysterious hints about where we would go, as my parents did, made old memories come alive again. The reason for my 3 stars, now that I am a grown-up guy and almost 35 years later, almost nothing has changed little. Yes, there are some poles here and there with touch screens and you can activate them with a tag that you get. But it was not much more modern or extensive than that. A few shows with talking dolls, but not really spectacular. My daughter thought it was fantastic, that's what it was about. But even after 35 years had to be the last, more change and expansion expected, given the technology has not stood still. It is a pity given the admission that no money has been invested in new worlds, more detailed buildings or more air traffic at Schiphol. In the buildings themselves, where children often like to look inside when they see small people, they were empty or bricked up. Too bad .. All in all a 3 star rating which in my case is rated "sufficient".

Madurodam is 1 very interesting, fun museum-like park to see the most famous places in the Netherlands in miniature form,
certainly very nice how everything is recreated, down to specific / small details ook certainly been fun for children from about 3.5 to 4 years, they can 1 GB for small cash contribution from one miniature Holland "factory" / workshop mini nuggets leave or make a piece of chocolate, very special and nice how it is made, suitable for adults and children or youth from so n +/- 4 years, younger children can be certainly, and see all the beauty, there is also one nice playground where children between play just fine, really very young children are viewing thumbnails of NL and all moving things down interesting but would be inclined them to want to play, which in turn can not .. . Furthermore, made all very nice and if you want to see everything real well and one pause takes between one to three hours ample sweet Madurodam you have something to drink / eat so sure .... We thought it was certainly very nice and nice again seen everything in Madurodam to have, more is added so repeating every couple of years certainly doesn't hurt

Entertaining and curious amusement park to have a ...

Entertaining and curious amusement park to have a good time with the children in The Hague. It has plenty of typical Dutch places and sites, all in miniature, from cities and monuments, to airports and ports. Each of them draws much attention for all the details they have and for the movement with which many are articulated. In some cases, there is the option of interacting with them through controls, so children have a great time and are entertained for a long time.
As we went on a daily day in December there were hardly any people in the park, so we really enjoyed it. For soccer players, there was a mini soccer track dedicated to Cruiff to take shots and laughs and an audiovisual exhibition that, at the exit, allowed you access to an interactive football games area that hooked us for more than half an hour.
It is worth watching the park's opening video where the story of the soldier Maduro in whose honor this park was created is told. Although it is in English, it is worth making the effort to know in a few minutes the history of this Dutch hero in World War II.
The park is very accessible from the central station in The Hague, because it takes less than 10 minutes to get on one of the trams that leave there (I think it was line 9)

We thought that it wouldn't be very exiting but we surprised as we had very great times there. My kid enjoyed play in the play ground and doing different activity they designed for kids. We bought online ticket which was a combination ticket for madurodam and sea life in one day which was only 22.5 per person which worth it.

I hadn't been in a long time so the attractions were completely new to me. These make a neat contribution to the kids and us!
My children, 10 and 7 years old, can make good use of the knowledge gained. Definitely positive!
Too bad we couldn't admire The Flying Dutchman because of the crowds. Maybe an idea to do something with the number of visitors. You had to indicate what time you got there, but nobody left the park after a while. This made the queues very long, because the Covid rules limited the numbers.

Worth it. I stay in my memory for a long time. Thumbnails very refined. Many things in motion - ships, people, cars and trains. We had the opportunity to be with few visitors at the beginning of the year.

Really super beautiful and fun you can really find things that are still there from the past and so on. And you also have play corners and you can also get things, but you have to put money in for that

Beautifully landscaped small park in which there is a lot to discover. Most of the most popular tourist attractions of the Netherlands, compressed on a tour. Only the very high parking fees (8.50 ) to the already very high tickets (19.50 ) cloud the overall picture a little. Better get the cards online before and go by bike.

The place is more suitable for families with children or for avid modelers. It will also be appreciated by those who have already "passed" Dutch monuments and will remember them in this way. For me, the place was rather a relatively expensive zoo without those animals.

We loved it! Great restaurant and they even cooked gluten free chips for my coeliac daughter. Knowledgeable kitchen staff.

The installations are great to spend a day out with the kids and learn about Dutch historic buildings, landscapes and fantastic engineering.

Madurodam was nice only the restaurant close to the entrance with terrace just before you go outside can do something about hygiene. Chairs and tables were under the excrement of birds and not from the 1 day. High pressure cleaner once a day works wonders.

Never thought I can see entire country in a park!! Madurodam is an awesome concept of creating all major buildings and monuments of Netherlands in a single park at a miniature form. Keep at least 3 hours to have a detailed look of all the marvelous creations. It is a kid's heaven. I saw kids enjoying the miniature trains running through the park. Entry fee is around 20 bucks for one and free for kids under the age of 5. So, go there and enjoy!!

One word: GENIAL !!!!! Plan a good half day to see everything. Do not miss the history of the park in a short video at the entrance to the park. Small flat: some models are animated, but paying (10cts, not excessive, but you have to have change).

Very much fun to see and experience. You can choose from two terraces. If you just want to eat or drink something and everything is beautifully recreated in the miniature, what a work it must have been, in short, had a wonderful day.
