I recommend this place for a getaway with children great
Nice to have seen once in reality, one in 60 years is enough I think.
Described as the worlds most cheerful war memorial. The place is phenominal for both kids and adults. Landscapes set to scale of all the famous Dutch sites; historic (Dutch Parliament), iconic (Schipol), or important (windfarm, oil field). With videos and interactive exhibits. Fly a plane at Schipol, reclaim land in the ocean, operate a windfarm, competetively bid on flowers, etc.
Belongs to the Netherlands. Nice overview and nicely constructed. Recommended!
Very nice to see most of the great landmarks in the Netherlands in miniature form. We were very surprised on our visit. Lots of activities to do for the children dn some informational videos on certain landmarks history.
Interesting for kids, but too over crowded and quite expensive. Takes about 30 mins to see.
Far too many people, who also partly walk in the wrong direction do not think about the corona
Fun amusement park for the whole family. The new attractions that have been added have made the park more interactive and a fun getaway for younger ones too
Nice place for kids. Can easiely spend 3-4 hours there.
NL in small format. All highlights at a glance. Great with kids.
I recommend this park for tourists! Count on him to spend the whole day!
Really informative, some great interactive audio visual presentation as well as some great displays . Lots to see here, really enjoyed it
As always, had a nice day.
You can spend a wonderful day here, especially with children. There is something here for almost all age groups, be it the defense of New Amsterdam against the British or a flight over Holland. Of course there are miniature worlds designed with a lot of love (some of which are getting on in years but are being repaired), in which new details are constantly being discovered.
Be it a kid with ice cream at the Gouda market, or the luggage belt under the airport.
madurodam is definitely worth a visit.
Great place to walk with your family. Be sure to follow the route (on the map) and visit museums and shows, then it will be much more interesting!
Nice place for scale modeling enthusiasts and very good for kids as they have a playground.
Excellent....entire Netherlands experience in terms on miniatures in just 5 to 6 hours..!!
The models are successful. I have never seen such a clean public toilet! The interactive screens are difficult to read in broad daylight. Too bad the attractions are not translated into French.
It was worth taking the kids. It has interactive activities with the park.
A place worth recommending. Lots of miniatures of the most famous cities of the Netherlands.
Everything is mega accurately reproduced plus automated. There are trains, boats and miniature planes
Madurodam is a nice place to visit, no matter what, but today was really special. Was my first time there around Christmas time. It was really pretty with all the lights. It's open till 8 p.m so plenty of opportunities to walk around in the dark with pretty lights on. I enjoyed it and it's always a lot of fun for the kids
Wow, what a place. Extremely impressive and well worth spending time there.
Place, or park to see, Holland, in miniature, it is certainly beautiful, I would not miss it
A miniature place! It's so cute seeing Netherlands in a mini size :D
IG : @chezabelll
Exclent for kids 2 playgrounds, 2 cafes out door snack stalls. lots of little things to do pluss all the small buildings. Feel like a giant if you are an adult.
Fun for the Kids and tourists ... all nicely recreated ... may get a technical freshening up ...
Great small park, takes about half a day to stroll around. Would recommend to anyone going to the neatherlands
Smaller as in my memories, and with it the entrance price rather on the high side.
Very nice place all the buildings of Holland in miniature. A preciousness
A wonderful miniature park with various shows. Priced but too expensive. 37 admission for 2 adults excluding parking ticket which the hag usually overpriced anyway drives the entrance fee a good deal in the air.
The museum is very worth seeing. There is not only something for adults but a lot for children to try out. In terms of price it is ok, Dutch standards. You can see a lot of beautiful little houses, some of which can be moved by pressing a button. There are two playgrounds and a great souvenir shop. It is definitely worth a visit.
We also visited Madurodam with the Scheveningen Lightwalk. Everything looked beautifully lit!
I really liked Madurodam. There were many interactive things you could do such as: putting out a boat, building your own land, building a dam, placing containers on a ship and much more. There were also plenty of shows so you could fill the time. The coolest thing there was was the 3D scanner, with this you could make a 3D doll of yourself and have it printed or moved in the app. The restaurant was also delicious, you could choose from many different types of food here.
Superb day spent in September 2018 !! Place to do absolutely!
Extraordinary lesson in geography and history of the Netherlands
Overpriced for what you actually get out of this attraction. The miniature towns and displays are cool enough, sure, and the workmanship and effort put into them is apparent. However, two hours max is really all you need to walk through everything. For the price of admission, I'd rather have spent it elsewhere.
Also ideal for receptions. Good parking and good catering
I really liked it because they could make such a fun place from such a small place, really recommended to come there
Awesome ! Excellent little miniature to discover the history of the Netherlands with the family, children will particularly appreciate. Catering and snacks on site at fair prices
Very nice place with the most representative of Holland in miniature
What a beautiful spectacular the walk through this site, nice vacations, thank you, I'm Peruvian
It was years and years ago that I was here for the last time. Recently attended as a supervisor with a school trip. What is Madurodam nice with his time!
I will definitely go back with my family. (Tip: plan enough time!)
Don't understand these negative reviews here. I was very pleased. Everything well maintained and beautiful models.
Very nice day in Madurodam, even when it rains rain there are indoor activities
I'm a grown up who had little kid fun here! It was packed but was still fun. It's a bit expensive and you can't use your museumkaart though...
I spent an enjoyable day at Madurodam walking around the miniature buildings & streets. An unforgettable experience. A great day out.
Remains fun and informative, fun things for children
Very nicely made and great for children. Price level also falls along
Interesting miniature representation of all parts of the country.
Parking perfect.
Civil entrance and often understandable (German) explained.
Especially children feel well.
The Netherlands but than in a very small version. I would highly recommend it because it is fun to see, but after 1,5 hr we were done with it because it was so busy. I think this is way more fun off season.
Nice ... I will come next time if conditions permit ...
Great place to spend an afternoon , its for both young and old.
Very good. Discover miniature Holland. And money well spent
Very nice place, but may some maintenance be done on the things.
Madurodam is a lot more interactive than before! With AR, interactive attractions and video, the visit was even more fun!
Expectacular, precious and equal to the original buildings
Great interactive space, excellent scale reproductions of the monuments of different cities in the ancient Netherlands and reproductions of modern architecture, a part concerning the engineering of the canals and infrastructures.
Fun to see everything in miniature. Especially a tip to go here with children. Even though you look out as a parent.
It is a work of art on a scale, beautiful, to spend all day,
Large reconstruction going on without prior notice. Very poorly maintained for the past years. Admission fee too high compared to what you get.
