Lovely place..superb scaled models with a few models to play and enjoy yourselves
Children really liked the boats and trains. The interactive, educational play area is also great fun. Small: we were already done in 3 hours.
Nice but certainly not 5 years. Suggestion for madurodam try to keep some more attractions out of sight so that the visitor remains surprised. Now you can see George immediately everything. Tip for visitors bring 10 cents coins and loose euros. Do you need for attractions. Also separate money for stalls waffle / poffertjes / sausage sandwich / co'dor ice cream. Nice attraction Waterwolf & Oranje.
What a place !!!
If you are visiting Hague it's a must go.
Main attractions:
#APMTerminals container handling miniature cranes.
#Canals and gate systems.
#Fire fighting on a ship.
#Shows
AFI:
#3D photography and 3D model a good idea to capture memories but on a very high price due to shipping charges for the foreign visitors.
It's youthful sentiment to me. But think they are well invested in attractions and doing things. All in all nice to see again at my age!
I loved it. There is so much to see and do. It's great for families and friends.
Badly maintained. A lot does not work and houses look old
The buildings are really well done and extras and additional things.
Wonderful place for young and old. Fun with children to stroll among the small buildings, but also suitable for a meeting or event.
Very nice and you can get an idea of what is the country and its most important places. Children like it a lot and can participate in some games. You can also buy a souvenir and eat something.
Madurodam is a miniature park and tourist attraction in Hague in the Netherlands. Small scale model replicas of famous Dutch landmarks, historical cities and large developments.
Simply beautiful to look at for both small and large children!
Miniature of Amsterdam. You can see full history of the city in one place
One of the best attractions in Nederland, in my opinion.
Every important place in the Netherlands is here in miniature.
Very good venue for young and old. Unfortunately the nice interactive features are not working so well. Not maintained ?
A long time ago that I had been here but always nice to see it again
A little like Portugal for the little ones, but in the Dutch version. Undoubtedly one of the places to visit in the Hague area, not least because compared to other museums, tickets are not the most expensive.
Fantastic place, the Netherlands in a miniature. Beautifully and interestingly done certainly is worth seeing.
Many of them are old and without maintenance, I've been for 10 years. And when I came back, no surprise,
A great place for children and adults. A lot of interactive entertainment. The territory of the park is really large and beautiful. I recommend it to everyone who comes to The Hague. When even adults visit Maduradam, there is a pleasant impression, the feeling of being in a fairy tale
The Netherlands in miniature, all known places, buildings present, even you can have your own miniature made and via a link to your email, you can have it printed via a 3D printer, this takes + - 6 wks and costs 37.50 euro excl. shipping costs. Currently, most buildings have been put in the Christmas spirit.
A great place. You can see the miniatures of the most important buildings in the Netherlands. There are also many interactive attractions.
It is a scale model park of the most emblematic sites in the Netherlands including trains and boats.
Madurodam is behind with maintenance. Especially the 'do' things often don't work, or work badly. It was also very busy. Especially with the 'do' things you have to wait a long time.
Nice recreated NL in miniature. Many pieces that are under maintenance, very nice design for both old and young
Amazing for kids (between 5-10) a lot of activities and things to earn
Best to go in the summer cause there are a lot of water activities like pushing the boat through bridges so have fun
Nice place for an outing with your friends or family. The Netherlands in a nutshell. Lot of activities to do or just enjoy the park. Restaurant available.
#AmazingWork #AmazingArt #AmazingLitlleVieuw. Really interesting how they keep updating the place by making and putting new buildings. I think next they will have to update the 'Schiphol'.
Minus point; the entree fee. A bit too much, which makes it difficult to visit with a big family.
Expensive especially. Parking also 10 drink 3. After an hour you will have seen it. Nice park but price / quality ratio is bad
Nice to discover the Netherlands in miniature. It was a beautiful afternoon to walk through Madurodam.
The construction - renewal - went very well. Nice place for children.
It is a shame that some of the tourists show too little respect (sit on houses, enter the "attractions").
Nice set up. After a few hours you will have seen it. There are nice playgrounds for the smaller children.
Nice place to visit, could be bit exhausting if it is sunny, bit expensive as well at least for my liking, but kids will surely enjoy
Wonderful place for kids and adults, important and well-known buildings in the world with very precise manors with their surroundings, rivers, figures with the costumes of the same structure, and especially driven as in reality, for example, the airport with planes and passengers and planes moving in orbit and stadium cheering players on the field, rivers It contains ships, ships and boats, and the buildings are surprisingly accurate.
Amazing experience in Maduradam. It is like a small city. They are models distributed along a large area of land, but with such amount of detail that each one has surprising. Great model makers at the time of constructing and detailing, in proportion (proportional) each of the architectural works they reproduce, faithful to the original. Of course, highly recommended visit if you are nearby.
The Netherlands in a nutshell! A beautiful place really worth recommending if someone wants to visit the Netherlands, this is the place to start
Ideal if you travel with children a miniature park, where you can see the main buildings of Holland and also its industries or a concert of Hermin Van Bouren in miniature
Nice. It is a pity that the catering facility and the souvenir shop are very expensive. Which is also a bit strange and that detracts somewhat from the park that there are a number of things where there are cupboards where you have to put money in so that it moves. admission is already paid? So just let those things move.
We had won free entry to the friends lottery. Otherwise it would cost 20.00 per person also for children from 3 years. I would not have thought this worthwhile. Park has left and right quite a few things that should be refurbished, looks a lot dated.
Furthermore, it is nicely set up but I thought it would have been bigger. Our 9-year-old son particularly liked the indoor soccer section, which is a shame that it has made an impression and remains stuck and the rest are not really.
This is overpriced and not really that exiting. Many of the miniature models are of industrial buildings. They are not pretty or memorable at all.
It is a very nice place for the whole family, and the best in the panels have several languages so you can understand the history a bit.
We have experienced instructive moments again. Walked among all the beautiful buildings of the Netherlands. Just a pity that the souvenirs state Holland and not the Netherlands. Finally we live in the NETHERLANDS
Despite the corona virus, it was a joy to walk around the miniature cities. The weather was beautiful too. Highly recommended, for large, small, young and old. Beautifully cares for greenery and enough to provide the inner person with everything. Had a great day with my sister!
Kind of dutch lego country but only dutch things in miniature (and not lego)
So pretty! Well kempt and great place for children to have fun.
Already a bit older. Some of the advertised things just do not work, which spoils the fun in part.
Fun for the little ones and interesting for older children! Very nice day out
Nice park for small children. In the past everything seemed bigger. Given the current day technique, it has lingered on many points
The Netherlands in a nutshell, very friendly service, parking at the park.
The new themes are particularly nice. This park is highly recommended for everyone
Beutiful but if you don't know the netherlands you wouldn't be able spend too long there because there are no explanations anywhere
Fun place, beautiful! As if you are in the country of the Liliput.
I have found it the same as 36 years ago (more or less). Very well taken care of, I've been excited ha ha ha
Very nice for children to see and do various interactive things for them. And very beautiful fake known buildings. On average you spend around 3a / 5h here.
Very nice for children in the highest groups of primary school.
Nice place to know more details about Netherlands' Map
Practically a paradise for children. Parents can either rush around this huge playground with their children, or look at the models of individual attractions, or watch the children from the cafe.
Except that the German description was a bit neglected, it was very worth seeing!
Nice to go again but definitely not worth the full admission price.
Some models are very worn out, have to be adapted to the current situation and if you look at the cars that drive there, they already drove in the 80s. Furthermore, very few trains can be seen.
The corona measures are not clear. You have to follow the route with hearts, but there are several that run through the park. This makes it impossible to see everything without going against the walking direction. Passing at a distance of 1.5 meters is also not possible. There is no supervision of the staff.
