Great place to make some extra cash during the holidays. They took me off the schedule after Christmas which was expected since i was seasonal. Then later found out they put me back on the schedule, but I noticed to late since i missed too many days. Wish they communicated better. Would've liked to have kept that job.

The business it's self is not the issue, it's the idiotic employees who come flying out of the parking lot, running red lights, and just general stupidity with their vehicles. Need to get their employees to obey traffic laws.

I stopped here to apply for a job after being let go from my job after 8 years and these employees were so genuinely caring! Friendly staff I tell ya.. thank you macy's for your words of encouragement and the actual job

I'll just list the pros and cons

I'll just list the pros and cons

PROS:
Decent pay, $11.50/hour

Easy work

Easy to get along with people. I've made several friends in my first few weeks

Good fast-paced job; kept you busy

Easy to learn how to do the job

CONS:
All the trainers and supervisors are barely in their twenties. Some supervisors have actually been there awhile and know what they're doing

The trainers act like they run the place and since they're young, they let that little bit a power go to their head

Like any other job, you have some a-hole co-workers who think because they've been there longer, they know everything

They constantly move you to different departments because its "slow", and then complain about how backed up it is after they move people

They keep you on full time if you have perfect attendance. Which means you can be back from break on time, but if your supervisor doesn't see you, you're late. Which is really stupid

The trainers gripe at you for not working, but yet they sit around for 12 hours just talking (at least the young ones did)

Nasty and expensive food for lunch

The parking lot is absolute hell. You have to leave your house like one hour early just to get there on time, because if you don't, you'll be waiting in traffic for 45 minutes.

They always complained about issues, but never bothered to fix any of them

I work here currently the job is an easy way to get good hours, and make the hours In a few days and the work is easy to do but at times the atmosphere can be depressing the work can also be monotinous and repetative.

Was very very unhappy at the way this company handled it's employment hiring process thought employers do background checks before you get called in for an interview!! Dont hire people then let them go afterwards when they have a pidly misdemeanor charge on their record that would be exponged after a year, or at least ask them about the charge they were charged with! Then also the other was a few bad credit report score Really Macy's!! People would probably succeed in life if they were given the opportunity to have a job to pay on bills that effect the credit scores don't you think!! Wow just very displeasing and unamerican to a employee to lose their jobs for these reasons right here but it is what it is I guess, they probably would have themselves some really hardworking employees if they wouldn't be so discriminating!!

I've been working here for 3 days now and it's a really good and simple job. I catch on to things really fast, I'm really quick on my feet, and I'm working in "PREP" so this is the perfect job for me. This is also my first ,consistent, and paying job. They pay $12 for seasonal & $11 for part/full-time workers!

I went there for an interview. I didn't get good vibes upon arrival. For one, it was a little crowded with other people who were most likely there for a job offer as well, and I felt odd. From the moment I walked in, there was a lady standing by the door with a paper in her hand. It looked like she was trying to instruct people on what they needed to do or where they needed to go based on the job status. She was occupied with a couple of people when I walked in, so I quietly went over to the nearest corner aside from the door so I could give others room that were entering. I stood on the side, in plain sight from the lady, and not once, did she acknowledge me. I didn't know what to do. I over heard her giving instructions to people who had an interview, so that is when I spoke up and let her know that I too, had an interview and that is when she told me to go the next door over. As if I hadn't already decided that I wouldn't waste my time there any longer, I walked out, went straight to my car and left. I may sound a little judgmental, but it looks like they'll hire just about anyone, and I don't want to work at a job that doesn't seem professionally established. I live in Tulsa, and to me, it wasn't worth the drive. Sure, the pay might've been decent, but aside from the money, presentation is very important to me. So, it's a no. Good luck to any and everyone else!

The reason for not dropping load until appt. Time it has very strick security. For workers and incoming out coming. This is not a store it is for Macys. Con. Even the emplyees get screened. Nobody enters with out proper authority. U cant even call the store unles they give u a number to call. It is for your own protecting. At least u know it is a safe place very very secure
