The Winery is a very pleasant, relaxing place to visit. Nice scenery, friendly staff, and award winning wine. Weekends often feature band concerts and more... you can carry on your own picnic food (but no beverages) and buy wine by the glass or bottle... other drinks are also available

Great Winery, ran by wonderful people. If you have a problem they will try to resolve it.

Fantastic entertainment by one of my favorite bands the West Macqueen Street Band. Always a pleasure to visit. Very popular.

Great place to come with a date or a whole party, live music and you re not packed in like sardines, bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy some wine!!

I head out here every chance I get, music, dancing, art and vintage booths. Even just to relax by myself.

The worst experience at any winery ever. The employee doing the tasting was rude and argumenitive.

Gorgeous Nite and place Music a much needed release

I went here for trivia night one time. The service was very good and the wine was very wine flavored and everyone had a good time. Unfortunately things took a bit of a nasty turn when one of the patrons started convulsing and coughing up blood shouting "HE IS HERE" over and over again until we looked behind us and found that the vines had come to life and had begun to bind the rest of the patrons. Luckily the staff seemed prepared for this and got into what i can only describe as power armor to fend off this threat. They took napalm flamethrowers and burned the vines to ashes. The purple flames will always stay in my memory. After that ordeal was over, we were offered a free glass of wine as compensation. I gladly accepted, and ate the glass of wine.

I recently visited this area for my friends wedding festivities. It was a grand time and they also had a band playing. It was wonderful and there were lots of people that came. It was very nice. I am not sure of their prices but their wine was amazing. I would definitely visit again with a loved one. Such a great place.

Nice place. The summer weekend parties are nice. Sometimes the having the same band several weekends in a row gets old. I haven't had a lot of their wine, but if I recall it's really sweet. I like some of it.

UPDATE 9/16/17: I came back and I'm so happy I did! I'm sitting here at Mackinaw Valley Winery, enjoying a delicious glass of Cayuga White. Ben, from the winery, reached out to me and offered us a table if we decided to come by again to make up for the poor experience of our ending last time! I don't blame the winery for what happened last time, it was just unfortunate that it had occurred. I seriously love this venue and am happy to keep coming back. Mackinaw Valley Winery obviously cares for their customers and it shows and that goes a long way for us! Thanks Ben and Mackinaw Valley Winery!!!

What a wonderful venue! I came here for my first time this past Saturday and loved it. The wines are incredibly reasonably priced. And delicious! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous! The place is great for live music as well. I would consider going back. However, a truly wonderful evening, was ruined when we came back to our table, which we had to pay to reserve. We had left the table to go watch the band, leaving behind a half drank bottle of wine, half drank water bottle, and an empty wine glass, which cost us a $3 deposit initially. When we returned from watching the band, roughly 45 minutes, our water bottle was missing, along with our wine glass. But oddly enough, our wine was untouched. When I went back to the counter, and told the woman of our situation, nothing was done. I wanted a pair of wine glasses, so I spent the extra $3 for another glass. It's not a matter of the small amount of money. It's the principle. It's quite unfortunate that Mackinaw Valley Winery attracts that type of clientele. That would be the only considering factor in not going back. We had left in a very upset mood, in fact, I was quite pissed off. Perhaps next time I'll bring a backpack for our belongings if we choose to step away.

Had this not happened, I would've hands down given it 5/5 stars.

Always a pleasure to attend the weekend music offerings. Tonight was no different except having to deal with the virus issues such as wearing masks and social distancing.

Had a great time, it's a fantastic place for a trip alone or with friends.

Had a great time here for a class reunion! It was my first time coming to the Vineyard and I can say that I ll definitely be back! UGT was playing that night and they were great. We had our food catered by an outside company. Drink prices are very reasonable. Wife and I went through a couple bottles of wine and probably a dozen beers or so. It added up in cost after a while but it s pretty much that way anywhere we go, lol. Later in the evening I got some Ropp bacon cheddar cheese and crackers to finish the night off with a glass of wine. Had a great time, nice outdoor scene and scenery, and friendly staff! Thanks!

A beautiful place, lost for words, so much scenery and some of the best wine, wonderful staff, the views are amazing will definitely be visiting again.

Would do no stars if I could. Sent a request in for pricing for my wedding 4 days ago, still NO RESPONSE or email back. Emails can be responded to anywhere. At least if you are going to be slow in responding to emails, put your prices online then. It's a waste of time waiting for a response I may or may not like. It's unprofessional too since they specifically make you request quotes.

We visited Mackinaw Valley Vineyard last Sunday afternoon & it was delightful. We sampled three wines & bought two bottles of the one we liked best - one to enjoy on the deck & one to take home. A number of other couples and at least one group appeared to be experiencing the same enjoyment. All in all, a great afternoon.

First time there and not expecting to pay just to sit down. I understand cover for the venue but if you want to drink, you have to pay $5 per person to sit.

Some of these wines are fantastic! The employees are so friendly, too. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area!

My girlfriend and I love this winery. Our favorite in Illinois. Always try to make a trip here when I am in the area. We've tasted every wine and they are all great.

The winery is exceptionally beautiful, great place to get some good photos for instagram or Facebook. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Prices for tasting and bottles are very reasonable. Cannot recommend this place enough! If you are in Illinois don't hesitate to check it out.

Beautiful location, lawn seating or on the deck of the house. Sell their wine and good assortment of beer and soft drinks.

What a wonderful little venue. Excellent events and some good wines. We love the sweet orange vignoles. Take a lawn chair for the concerts and don't bring any sort of drinkable liquid (including water) as they are a vinyard and have laws that control their premises. Also, if you ever have the chance to see a Jamsammich concert there, do not pass it up. They are an excellent dance band and it's always a good time. Be sure to say hi to Carley inside - she is a totally awesome chicky.

Wonderful setup. Live music stage with a lake backdrop. Set up your lawn chairs or blankets and listen to some music while drinking your wine. During the summer they have live music most weekends. Great place.

Family friendly, beautiful view, and great wine! Facilities are nice and they are doing a good job of keeping things comfortable and clean, following Covid guidelines.

Great setting to drink a glass of wine and enjoy the relaxing scenery. The wine here is pretty darn good and they have a reasonable selection of chocolates and things to snack on along with a gift shop with wine oriented knickknacks.

This place is lovely. Definately recomend it. Relaxing and fun. No food. Cheese and crackers and little things to buy. Enjoyed it very much. Staff is funny and very nice. Check it out.

Pros-Had a wonderful WI e tasting experience here, even with Covid and it being cold out, very picturesque and nicely appointed vineyard, lots of seating, tons of great wines to try, other cute and thoughtful things to buy, Carley was basically awesome and talked us through their selection of wines, We are very excited to come back again many times especially post covid.
