I used to live a five-minutes walk from MacKenzie Rex Restaurant's original venue which was located directly opposite the former Rex Cinema.

I was introduced to this restaurant by my family when I was only eight years old and I simple loved it!

This has always been the restaurant that I have been going back to time and time again, and still going!

I have introduced their fantastic and awesome food to my family and they have introduced it to their friends and relatives.

Breaking fast at this restaurant during each fasting month is a MUST! It has become our family's tradition and I am sure it will become a tradition with my children's family as well.

The service is fast and friendly and its boss, Mr Roldy Koh, is always attentive of things in the restaurant to make sure his customers needs are met and attended to.

MacKenzie Rex Restaurant is a class act! Kudos!!

Average on my opinion except it's halal. I think nowadays days tze char store can cook way better than here. Just my 2 cents.

Food is always consistently good. Service is good and very prompt good variety of food.

I had been eating in this restaurant since for ever. Starting at their old place near the old Rex cinema.

Dinner @8+ on a Saturday, relatively crowded but there were available seats. Extensive menu, halal with Chinese styled zichar dishes. Everything was flavourful except the sambal prawn, which tasted a little mild in comparison. Friendly staffs & prompt services. Food was served quickly too despite the crowds.

Food quality has been consistently awesome over many years. I come here for my chicken rice and crispy san mee fix at least once a month.
