Real people, real Bible teaching, really welcoming.

I went about a year ago there are so many people there on Sunday it's like you're Invisible. I also felt that unless you have been going there for a while we really don't fit in I don't feel that the pastors or any of the other church staff can remember all of their Congregations names or anything else about them because there's like 200 people there every Sunday. I will stick to going to my church which is small cozy welcoming They always remember mine and my children's names and accomplishments, this church I don't feel that Is something that they can do. As well as I don't feel the pastor can't Create special bonds between him and his churchgoers if there are Hundreds going every Sunday. If you're looking for a nice small church with live music no dress code and where you feel like your one of them head over to good news community church.

New visitor, We were welcomed twice before entering, Material information was available and very good. The worship was heart felt and focusing us to be able to hear the teaching. Review of Naomi, Ruth and Boaz from the Bible were great lessons to learn that good for the future and the present can come from difficult situations. This place is refreshing!

Anyone can fit in here. Seeker-friendly, welcoming environment. Bible teaching includes historical context, clear interpretation, and applications for today. Church supports local non-profits as well as distant ministries that seek to improve quality of life for orphans, homeless, gang members, and many more. Quality staff, lay leaders, and volunteers. Opportunities for involvement and programs for all ages and interests.

Incredibly friendly and welcoming environment. Such a great place to explore or grow in your faith and connect with awesome people.

This is a wonderful church that is very accepting and christ-centered. The atmosphere is warm, casual and relaxed. The sermons are a mix of traditional and modern. The pastors are exceptional. I highly recommend this church.

I really enjoy going to this church, it has been a great experience for me. At Discovery you can belong before you believe, if you have doubts or have questions, you are welcome here. Yes, Sunday services can be packed with people, it never really bothers me. If you want a small church service definitely try out the Thursday night services. As far as meeting people, join a bible study, a life group and or start volunteering. There is also a class you can take if you're new to the church. Outreach is important here as it should be for all churches.

My home is out of town but still My grandpa come every Sunday here. They love this place and love to pray here.

I am not religious what-so ever, sure I consider myself to be dualistic, but I still find myself falling under the agnostic mindset many times; furthermore, I simply don't have a calling to go to church at this current time of my life.

But when I was 16 this church helped my single mother, my 2 siblings and myself get furniture for our apartment; I am talking about the whole rodeo: beds, couch, kitchen table, a TV and a couple of desk. My mother and myself were part of a homeless program for a few months that gave us a place to stay every week, usually the places we stayed in were churches, when I think about these times this specific church comes to my mind, and the people who got together to help us when we got our apartment. Sometines I wonder if the group of people in this church realized what they had done, how they had impacted a family by doing a small act of kindness.
It's been 5 years since this happened and luckily I am in a completely different chapter in my life, I am not rich by any means and still find myself struggling just like many other lads my age but by no means do I fear lacking a roof over my head any more, and honestly I can't recall when was the last time I was hungry and did not have anything to eat. But even though I am currently blessed, I still find myself remembering the group of people in this specific church. When I think about these times I remember how welcoming they were, how honest, and giving they were to a couple of strangers.

So to whoever is reading this I can tell you this; I can't really say if I believe in the christian god, and to be honest I won't say that churches are to be filled with perfect or even good people, but at least this church, at least 5 years ago had a group of individuals who found time to be kind, a group of people who took the time and work to give to the less fortunate, a group of people who found themselves spending a weekend helping strangers not only moving in their new furniture to their place, but also obtaining that furniture for them by asking their neighbors and church for donations. This small act of kindness left a print in my life of the good that still exist, it helped me aim for a purpose and a meaning in this life. I have a goal to one day be able to do this for others the same way this group of individuals helped me; nonetheless thank you for what you did.
