Our wedding was an amazing experience. The staff were great. The food was amazing and the event space was everything were looking for and more!

Really nice venue for big parties. Even had lots of TV's. Got to watch the KU game.

Always delicious food and a lovely atmosphere! Maceli's supports a lot of important local organizations in our community. We appreciate it! Highly recommended!

Excellent space and service. I needed space for a last-minute venue change and the Maceli's team helped. We had a small group and they treated us like a top customer.

I hadn't been to Maceli's in over a year. The space felt much brighter and less cavernous -- perhaps due to the new floor treatment and improved lighting? Seemed much improved, for a well-loved (and well-run) Lawrence institution.

This is a decent space. Average food and nothing too special about them. Worth it if it's priced well though!

This is the 2nd year I have gone to a work christmas party here.....I LOVE THIS PLACE! the employees are so friendly! The food is always delicious. If you choose to use them them for an event you will NOT be disappointed! They go out of their way to make it a success.

My niece had her end of the year banquet here. It is a beautiful venue that could be used for many different events.

The best reception hall and staff in town. They have been great for every type af event I have ever been to from Halloween party"s, corporate functions, holiday brunches and weddings.

This event space was gorgeous! Wonderful for smaller/medium sized groups. We were there for a smallish wedding and it was perfect!

August 2014 We had our wedding reception at Maceli's in 2014. Not only was the staff (We worked w/ Kasey) beyond accommodating, we got multiple comments on how nice everything looked. I think the biggest response we heard from our guests was that the food was outstanding. My husband and I attended a few of their food tastings but kind of went on a whim to pick of menu.... And it turned out fantastic. The scalloped potatoes and herb beef got the most compliments. Maceli's offered great prices (We got married on a Friday evening) and discounts, especially in comparison to everywhere else in town. I'd recommend this facility, staff and catering to anyone looking to impress w/o putting in a whole lot of work! THANK YOU!

We just attended my son's wedding and reception this past weekend at Maceli's and were extremely impressed with the facilities, the food was excellent (steak and salmon were great along with everything else). The staff were extremely polite and Lara did and great job coordinating the event. Highly recommend them!

Such a versatile venue. We've Nerd Nites on the second Wednesday of the month. Comfortable seating and good sound system.

Staff and overall experience is incredible. The locale and atmosphere is very typical for a formal dinner, and includes an upper terrace. Very suitable for many formal events: weddings, large business dinners, formal presentations.

I wanted family and friends to have good food, plenty of drinks and for me to have very little hassle planning a wedding reception out of state. And I got all that and so much more with Maceli's! Working with Lara was easy and she handled everything. The reception hall was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

A good place to go for a local play. I like hanging out in the balcony.

Great venue that hosts the liveliest events in Lawrence. The space is more than accommodating to a wide variety of events, I've been there for: dances, drag shows, brunches, nerd nights, fundraisers - they do it all. Also, their s'mores cookie is honestly the best cookie in Lawrence. Do yourself a favor and get it on whatever catering menu you get from Maceli's - then send me one!

Awesome venue. Smaller than you would think but has a nice set up. Their catering was okay.

I have attended a few events here in the past that were always really well done. Recently, due to the stay at home order, they have had to transition to take home meals. We ve now ordered from them 3 times, getting different items each time, and they have all been great. Chicken Tiki Masala, a Southwest Rice Bowl, to a braised short rib dish were all delicious. I would encourage anyone to give their take home meals a try and support a great local business.

Very nice venue. The bar/drink area was quite congested frequently during my wedding/visit but the establishment was very nice. The food was delicious and the dance floor/DJ were awesome!

Doesn't matter what the event is. The catering and space will be excellent! I love having brunch here. Everything is so tasty.

Good experience for an event rental location. The place is really nice inside and the catering was relaxed even though the event was formal. It was nice having security. Not sure if the location supplied the security or the event organizers.

A great location to host an event or for catering. Professional staff with great food.
