Nice place. Shops are very local. Cant wait for the snow...

We went for a meal and really enjoyed the experience there and would go back again

Average. Not necessarily well looked after but generally clean. Good location, able to walk to other bars and restaurants rather than relying on the complex.

Friendly staff, lodges needing some paint work touched up around edges as some paint peeling in bathroom. Wooden panels in kitchen hap hazardly stuck back on rather than replaced!! But facilities excellent and food very good, would happily stay again.

The park that we went to was not very nice at all needs up dated

Hotel good was OK, poor selection of craft beers, food from Aspect restaurant was pretty poor too, bed was way to bouncy.

Outdated rooms and worn furniture including carpets. Wouldn't recommend it for a holiday.

Breakfast gets a 5 star though. Lovely.

Good if a bit tired in places. Pool facilities have rather erratic timings.

Very disappointed as it was not worth the money you paid for. I expected more from a MacDonald hotel. When we arrived the decor was very poor, doors were scruffed looking and on our landing there was a plaster crumbling away from the wall and it looks like it's been there for a while. We had no heating and problems with the electricity in our room. Had to complain to the receptionist twice before she realised we were serious. No apology given. Most of the staff were unfriendly. I will not be back!

Appalling service. Half the staff can't speak english. At breakfast I asked for some tea and I received the pot of tea but no cup. I had to find the waiter again and ask for a cup.
At dinner the waitress took the bread plate away and then a waiter came to the table wanting to give us bread. Tables dont get cleared for a loooooong time once people leave. Completely chaotic. No one seems to know what they're doing. And no one communicates to each other or the guests.
Abysmal water pressure too.
1 point for the comfy bed.

Extremely tiny rooms. With suitcases hard for 2 people to navigate. No hot water until 6:30 a.m.

Superb facility for leisure and conferencing. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming too. Well done!

Attended the inflatables in the conference centre. Girls, 2 and 4 loved it. Great value for money.

Do not try phoning as after several hundred options you get continuous ringing and nothing else. Very poor.

Our stay was great! The facilies are all really good and it was nice to enjoy some time in the pool! Breakfast was abundant and delicious with a choice of buffet and cooked dishes too. We had some drinks at the bar which were really nice and enjoyed them in a cosy atmosphere. The staff both at the bar and reception was also very attentive and caring. Unbeatable central location too!

brilliant weekend we had up here no snow but had a lot of fun

Booked as it had Tesla superchargers on site, however staff and public are blocking the chargers with non electric cars and I need to charge, manager uninterested in resolving, won t book again.

Facilities are amazing, comfortable rooms, very spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Tried 3 of the restaurants and they were all very good, and quite different from each other. STAFF was amazing, went on and beyond to make my husband birthday extra special .... can't praise them enough. Children entertainment was so good that my little daughter did not want to leave the resort. 11 out of 10. Definitely a place to repeat.

Great place for family holiday. Goods deals to be had if you book well in advance.

Went to the cinema and the seats were uncomfy and the film took ages to start due to a technical difficulty.

Beautiful rooms, fantastic meals and a state of the art pool & sauna.

Disappoint can't use pool at a resonable price. Shocking management decition to push out locals and visitors to area.

I know there are few places to stay in this area ..... but it leaves a lot to be desired.

Plenty activities for the kids during holidays, several restaurants and bars, shops, cinema and pool - it has it all

Never stayed in the hotel but we did go to the cinema. The hotel has lots to offer families.

This is a fantastic location and a great location for the 1/2 marathon event to finish. Macdonalds staff were welcoming and the facilities spotless, even with the huge number of patrons on the day.

Needs updating a bit ran down not much for young ones

NO HOT WATER....... After horrendous journey of 16 hours to find out there is NO BASIC HYGIENE available to welcome you in..... Writing any further does not make any sense!!!!!!!!!!

The MacDonald Aviemore appears to be primarily a conference venue. As such the accommodations are more on the spartan side than the price would suggest. Note that our room in the Morlich was clean and well appointed. The bed was two double beds push together. We opted for breakfast and dinner included. Aspects Restaurant was posh; Giovanni's not so much.

Absolutely Absolutely, don t live in this hotel. Service is very bad, it will break your beautiful holiday.

Very good I don't think there is anything they could improve on there is a brilliant swimming pool and very good breakfast

This place is a waste of money you have to walk from place to place even for breakfast the wifi doesn't work and we spent ages trying to find the hotel we were staying in. To top that all off the fire alarm went off at 5:30 am and they told us someone had pushed it but that was obviously lies because it went off again later three more times. The pool has a lot of young children in it and the jacuzzi is ment for 16 and overs but they let more little kids in it I don't think that was right because that water is very hot and that was a danger to little kids and the hot water doesn't work now

Lovely clean good size rooms. Great steak restaurant - highly recommend a visit!

Great shopping centre, quality products for sale. The Costa cafe inside is expensive in comparison to the actual Costa in town on the retail park. Resort Hogmany fireworks are excellent. Soft play is good in the activity centre, but if you are not staying at the resort or an owner of a Macdonalds timeshare there is a charge. More seating would be good around the soft play as during busy times parents are left standing or sitting on window sills. Pool looks nice, with slides but we didn't visit this time

I was here for a conference. Service was decent and very helpful. Rooms are clean, comfortable and pretty.

Buildings are a bit dated, but facilities and food were fantastic. Staff really friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely nights stay here with our toddler. The facilities on site- pool, soft play and outdoor play area suited us and we're free to use to those staying at the hotel. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The restaurant had really nice food, quick enough service and friendly staff! Would stay again!

The restaurant was set up but when we asked for food we had to wait until June! I'd hire a new chef personally!
Went to the Cairngorm Hotel, perfect as always.

Waitress at the bar and Costa cafe part was extremely rude and my husband had to ask if everything was ok to her. Her attitude was appauling and other customers nodded when he challenged her. She should get reality check on stress of serving coffee.

Shop very nice and expensive cinema very good although had to find a manager to find out how to get wheelchair into cinema girl on desk did not have a clue.Buffet looks great and Costa was nice good service.

The first night we could not sleep the service was terrible we asked for cutlery it didn't come for ages we sat next to a table they sprayed it but never wiped it down and the tables were sticky there were non working light bulbs and not enough towel to let us a 3 days potato scones were hard and the tea and coffee was cold the orange juice was warm and there we no raisers for the cups not a terrible stay but just an ok stay would maybe not come again

Good resort though luxury is definitely pushing it. The location is handy and the resort shops, restaurants and pool are good, in fact for a hotel the pool is great, gets busy, but don't expect the likes of a Centre Parc dome. Resort staff were friendly enough, though they were clearly looking to upsell and extract more at each opportunity! The rooms were clean but lodges needed some maintenance attention with some tired looking grout and worn out sealant in the bathrooms. Kitchen was basic and a bit small for the number of people. Fire was very comforting on cold day when snow bound!

Rooms were way outdated and old. Wall paper peeling from the walls and carpets were gross. Apparently they dont have room service, vending machines or even ice machines. Breakfast was good though.

Afternoon tea. Not something I usually go for but, was a pleasant experience. Few minor niggles. The cream wasn't clotted cream. There was some confusion at reception.

Disappointed that the archery wasnt available, at the pool the flume, wave machine & jacuzzi were not on, this was awful especially on a Saturday. This was a family break away, so my 9 year old daughter was a little upset by this.

At a conference there wonderful place except the distance you had to go to get to your room, not to easy for one who can't walk to far. The rooms and the staff were first class. Food breakfast lovely but please put pots of tea or coffee on the tables our evening meal well to me was a disaster tepid soup, main course we'll I thought they had forgotten to bring the vegetables out and to the sweet excellent would have given it 5stars with a bit off cream. Over all I will go back again

Haven't stayed in hotel but am a regular visitor to the shop within the complex. Slightly higher class clothing for gents and ladies at very reasonable prices. I will be back
