Love M&S but needs to get rid of the ready meals and extend the home section again

Gents toilet was a disgrace. Next to gents clothing didn't look like it had been cleaned for some time.

One of the M&S shops in Briggate Leeds sells nice food but may be too busy. You could consider visiting the M&S in Pudsey Owlcotes just outside Stanningley!

All pretty much the same as the last Marks and Spencer - this one is quite big.

Lots of choice and stuff you can't buy online or in most stores so get it when you see it or you may miss out!

Quite a good selection of clothes here, better than some M&S I've been to. Actually bought a skirt .

Went for the cafe was nice clean and reasonable price

Staff were sparse, though pleasant. Nice variety and generally good quality. I love the childrens 'Walkright' shoes, they're great for toddler feet and very supportive. I prefer them to Clarks' shoes.

Mens section for me, but why not put the mens aftershaves with the mens section and not mixed with the women's.....

Well very under staffed waited 10 mins at check out on ground floor.she rang her bell 5 or 6 times for extra help no one came.

Good quality food and clothes sale on at the moment up to 50% off . Just not keen on the sparks card offers never seem to represent the items you buy and according to staff can't be used on sale items

Bought myself a linen blouse but did not see any special there, what has happened to you Marks & Spencer?

Fitting for new bras. Great service. No embarrassment. What I needed, with little fuss and friendly staff. Top tip - don't forget to activate your sparks points as you will usually find an offer!

Always first stop when looking for quality at a reasonable price

It's a great big M&S.
Reasonable stock levels of petite and things as well as mainstream clothing.

I love M&S and always call in when I am in town. On this particular day I only went into the food court as I cannot resist their food. I would recommend this shop as they are such good quality and their customer service is impeccable.

Only place in Leeds that I could find a hat that I wanted. Good store only dropped a star because some items are overpriced. Cafe is good with helpful staff can get busy at times. When visiting with friends who have children staff will get highchairs and make space for a pushchair. Should be a 4.5 rating :)

It's m&s... grannies only shopping stop and not much for anyone else. Those grannies chat on every corner meaning an unpleasant shopping experience for everyone else as you can't get around, not that there's much you'd want any way.

Large M&S in the Trinity Centre Leeds. All the usual stuff from clothes to household goods at expensive prices. Met up here today to have a coffee with a mate

Some lovely clothes. Fairly extensive changing room,but unlike other stores, where the staff,actually show you 2 a changing room+carry the clothing 4 u also,i found they didnt here. But,still like their current clothing range..;-)

Compared to the one near the train station, this is a pretty big one in Leeds.

There's also a smaller and more historical M&S stand in the market nearby.

Not been into an M&S for a while. Being in my mid 40s that's a good thing because I'm obviously 20 years younger than the target market. I'm no fashion icon but wow it's still a shop for pensioners. I thought all that had changed?!

I always get what I need here. Fresh fruit and veggies alley is always freshly stocked.

Great selection of products... most staff are friendly but some might benefit from a refreshing course on simple things like "please" and "thank you" instead of just staring at you with condescension

Unfortunately not like it used to be. I popped in for some groceries and was first of all stopped by someone promoting M&S energy. Then, when I was paying for my shopping on a self service till, I was hassled by a member of staff to open a M&S bank current account! Let customers shop in peace! I for one will not be going back unless I really have to.

Marks is marks. One of the larger marks and Spencer stores, very good stock levels huge layout and good access.
Staff helpfull

I am a regular customer at the food supermarket they have there. It's slightly more expensive yet the quality is significantly better than the food in Tesco or Morrisons. I highly recommend that you pay it a visit and try some of their ready meals. The clothes there is also brilliant.

Not the simplest layout, easy to get confused or lost. Friendly staff

Marks and Spencers stores resemble warehouses these days. They did always look this drab. Go back about twenty years and they look quite attractive. They also need to do something about they clothes range. I don't think they are aimed at any age group in particular but they all look slightly old fashioned. The food hall is lovely but very much over priced !!!

Was disappointed for such a big marks and Spencer the dine in for two selection there wasn't much stock put out for the teatime purchase so ended up purchasing separate meal choice instead never mind

I think everyone knows how M&S's clothing has gone down in quality over the years, but I was surprised & disappointed to find out how their customer service has also deteriorated. I recently took an item back to exchange (for a more expensive one) after I had got it home to find I had mistakenly bought the wrong type. The staff there point-blank refused to exchange it even though it had clearly not been taken out of the packaging. They rather pathetically would only repeat the out of date and totally useless "company policy" line to me. Really?!?! In this day & age, and at M&S, "company policy" ?!? Even after going through the old routine of supposedly checking with the manager unfortunately the only thing she could resort to was to keep repeating "company policy". Very unhelpful. As a result my wife and I won't be shopping with M&S again (we used to shop online as well) and I will be returning my M&S credit card (the customer service there is a whole other story). So after many years as a loyal customer it's a shame they should drive me away like this. Still, I'm sure there are many of their competitors who are benefiting from their demise.

Even though it is not as open and bright as Meadowhall it seemed to have a wider product range.

Bad experience at counter. Got pushed away while bagging by the employee.

Mark's and Sparks are always great for a shopping visit with some pretty top class products at reasonable prices. Their meal deals are very reasonable with great selections on offer. All round very good service.
