We had a really good experience with the conveyancing department at Lyons Davidson. James and Kym were quick to respond to our queries, effective in their communication with our vendor and purchaser's solictors and ultimately contributed to a (relatively) stress free house purchase and sale. I would recommend them.

I was referred to Jess Murphy by my car insurance company as a result of being prosecuted for dangerous driving. Throughout the 7 week period Jess has communicated excellently, been very supportive treating me like a friend, and helped me through each difficult stage to achieve a good end result. I cannot recommend Jess enough.

I was recently confronted by three outrageous motoring offences which threw me into a wild panic. Jess Murphy picked me up, calmed me down and proceeded to teach Hertfordshire police what common sense and fairness meant in justice by having the charges reduced to one and the sentence reduced to the bare minimum. She transformed a horrendous experience into a gentle smack on the wrist and left me relieved and relaxed without having to appear in court. She was at all times reassuring, knowledgable and utterly professional. If I wasn't already happily married I would come to Bristol and chase her round the table.

With the firm on my side I felt more confident that I would be found not guilt of a false allegation that a malicious individual had made against me, which duly happened because of all of Jess's hard work. I'd give 0 stars if I could..
My experience with this company has been nothing but poor from the very outset. After a non fault accident when the car behind me was shunted into me by the car behind him, I have been left in terrible pain at the top of my spine which is painful to the touch, and muscular damage stretching out to my right shoulder blade. I was sent for physio in the centre of Swansea, and told I would be reimbursed fuel costs. This was arranged through Lyons Davidson.
After regularly attending physio which was a 20 mile round trip weekly for several months, my physiologist said that the muscle would continue to repair itself over the next year or so. I was never x-rayed although I did go to the hospital the day following my accident. I am still in terrible pain, and as a full time carer for my parents it has inhibited the amount I've been able to do for them.
After waiting several weeks for Lyons Davidson to contact me, I contacted them. There ensured an extremely lengthy to-ing and fro-ing with emails, and as my point of contact only answered emails once or twice a fortnight, you can imagine how frustrating this is. In two months I never once managed to get her on the phone on her direct number, and she didn't return messages. Every single one of the messages over the weeks could have been dealt with in a five minute phone call. It became increasingly frustrating when I'd wait a whole week or even two only to be asked the same question she'd asked me the last time... Made even more irritating by the fact that my previous message, answering the previous question and now the repeated question... Was in the very email she was now replying to me on.

I have contacted Saga who put me on to this company for my personal injury and told them....Read the reviews... This is not a company you should be dealing with. They've asked me to make a formal complaint. I fully intend to do so. Until then, please save yourselves the same sort of experience that I and many others have had. Go to someone with a good reputation that shows personal interest, not someone only interested in the paycheck.

I only dealt with Philippa Morgan regarding a children's case but I couldn't recommend her more highly. She kept me realistic over things at a very stressful time and was uber professional throughout.

Absolutely brilliant service. Many thanks, particularly to Rachel Green, who moved our case forward with competence, care and compassion in difficult circumstances, to a satisfactory conclusion. She kept in touch regularly to keep me informed and nothing was too much trouble for her. Highly recommend.

Since my accidents back in 2017, Lyons and Davidso...

Since my accidents back in 2017, Lyons and Davidson have been dealing with my cases - 2 cases from 2 accidents within 8 weeks of each other! It seems like pretty bad luck but on the other hand I have a very well knowledgeable and professional case handler, Genevieve. I've struggled throughout this process and have been quite difficult to handle but Genevieve has been understanding and made me feel as ease when things were looking to get a little rough. I had monthly updates from Genevieve and she was always there to answer my calls and questions. I can't recommend Lyons Davidson enough - Genevieve is definitely worth her weight in gold.

Shocking service. I would give 0 stars if I could. They are supposed to be dealing with a case for my daughters and my case handler was supposed to send me the outcome of their medical 3 months ago! I have called numerous times to be fobbed off, waited for a supervisor to call back but they haven't. I've been lied to numerous times , I'm actually staggered what an incompetent company this is. I was put on to them by The National Accident Helpline.... avoid!

I used this firm after they contacted me following a car accident where another vehicle collided into the back of mine. The service from the start was terrible. I regret using Lyons D solicitors. My experience was awful for this day and age. I felt the whole process was strung out to over a year and was not kept informed of the progress on my case. On 2 occasions I received a letter where I had to reply before the date of their letter which showed total unprofessionalism and carelessness. The solicitor I had was changed twice so the continuity of service had gone. I have used another solicitor in the past long ago and they were miles better. My experience with Lyons D was a terrible one and would not go anywhere near them again - they need a reality check!

I had the simplest of road traffic accidents 12 months ago.This bunch of utterly useless pathetic unorganised people have been dealing with it.The level of ineptitude would be staggering from 5 year olds never mind a solicitors firm.I have made absolutely no progress in 12 months.Please avoid them whatever you do.I would never believe professional people could be so terrible at their jobs,whilst making huge sums of money for services.
Reading the response from LD to posts is a joke!."contact Customer services"!.I have spent hours on phone calls(when they answer) revisited the accident scene.sent photo.video,endless emails and documents to LD...For absolutely nothing..Better off sending your correspondence to Santa via the chimney."
UPDATE..."we understand the issues have been resolved"....a phone call from LD listening to me list your terrible service issues does not constitute in any way shape or form,Resolution!.Wait and see what nonsense your 3rd party appointed representative turns up at court with.
Further update...3rd party settled the night before court..two weeks on and still LD doing nothing to pro actively return my costs or update me

I would like to share my experience of Lyons Davidson solicitors.
Like some of the other respondents we were allocated a trainee paralegal which initially we were not happy with since our case was centred around non qualified staff. However we were very happy with the way Ms Loveluck-Edwards handled our case. There was a smooth transition from department to department and we were kept informed at every step as to what was happening. All emails and queries were answered promptly.
