I attended this school from 2016 to 2018, did my years 11 and 12. I have mixed feelings about it.

There is zero communication between teachers and students, vie scolaire and students, or school and parents. The lack of communication results in days where students go to school to discover that they do not have lessons, and then have to wait for four hours, or more, because you are not allowed to go outside. Moreover, the uniform is not respected, and shouldn't be there in the first place for students in sixth form.

Students from this school are also somewhat racist and disrespectful towards Ark Academy students, but the latter are not the nicest teenagers, and look for fights. The school accentuates the inequalities within London, disheartening.

The headmistress and "proviseur adjoint" sell empty promises and lies. The students are nice, but only if you blend out. The school doesn't look after the students. I could list all of my experiences and everything that is wrong with this school, however I have a limited word count.
Overall, not worth the price tag, definitely a" no-go" if you are in sixth form, they don't meet your needs nor they prepare you well.

Fantastic school that mixes the best aspects of the French and Anglo-saxon academic systems. Strives for academic excellence while nurturing non-academic talents and creativity in the students. Teachers are excellent and students come out truly bilingual.

Delighted by what this school has brought to my children since 4 years: open-mindedness, bilingual education, support, new technologies and a school truly focused on the needs of the child. Very satisfied also academic results. I highly recommend, despite charges that I would have liked less.

A very good school providing a perfect balance between academic vs wellbeing - between French vs english. Wonderful staff and outstanding pedagogy. I strongly recommend this school for a balanced bilingual education

On the outside, it mostly looks like an old factory.
But a year inside this peculiar school was, to me, a breath of fresh air. Nice people, cool teachers, an interesting use of technology and a relaxed atmosphere are the foundations of a good school that educated its students.
And if you see a person named Thomas, run.

I have been in this school since it s opening and can clearly say that it has gone through massive improvements. I can personally say that I have been able to enjoy every year spent in that school, being surrounded by supportive staff and teachers that want the best for us.

I've given five stars, but with a few reservations.

Where I think the school excels is culture. Helping to foster bright, capable, confident, bilingual children in a caring environment. I haven't seen any of the endless pressure for instance that you get in many british private schools, nor the dogmatic adherence to first principles that you see in french schools. 5/5.

I really think this is rare in a school, and should be considered for your kid simply because of this: they'll come out as well rounded young adults.

On exam results, they're doing really well given it's only been going a few years - and last years bac results have been excellent. Kids have been accepted at a wide range of top universities, the only exception being oxbridge - but that will change over time. I'd say 4/5 for this, and rising.

Where they haven't been doing so well oddly is communications with the parents, which may have led to some of the reviews here and unhappiness in parents (not necessarily kids). Some of this has been over money and fees for the school. They have taken great steps to improve this over the last year and have made great progress, but still some to come. I'd say 3/5 for this but rising.

Overall, you've got to choose the school that's right for your child(ren). But I would definitely recommend visiting LIL, and feel assured that every child is cared for, nurtured, pushed, and supported here.

Excellent school. It has been making remarkable progress since its opening only 4 years ago. School management has been very pro-active in addressing the comments brought forward by the inspection and parents, in particular in respect of the academic programme. The children are very happy at the school and parents get regular feed-back on the progress their children make. The bilingual programme has settled in well. As a final comment, this school beats any other school we have ever sent our children to in terms of parent engagement.

PROS ET BIENVEILLANTS: My boys love the place and are happy to go to school. Both admin and teachers are very professional and with a genuine attention to their well-being. I highly recommend this school, certainly the best my kids ever went to.

The teaching quality of this school is ok, a few of the teachers are racist, that is unacceptable, also when there was and ofsted school report we had to be on our best behaviour... Normal... but we got a bad rating and the head of school got very mad at us because children are the problem, children they cause everything... Not true that is actually a stereotype.
they need to look into the teachers CV properly and not just see their policing test!

Yes I am a student in that school
I may be a kid but I am not lying.
